Having escaped from her attic on a bright summer day,
Constance skipped through the forest in fantasy play.
Flowers abloom; vibrant colors mix with green;
Constance found amazing beauty in everything.
A shy, maturing girl with only imaginary friends;
Flourishing happily in a world full of pretend.
In a pool of fresh water from a spring underground,
Constance knelt to take a sip and a beauty she found.
Where once was a little girl, a young woman she saw,
Whose beauty, adorned with flowers, left her in awe.
The reflection of her face in the rippling pool,
Smiled back with satisfaction in the water so cool.
Although unsure of herself in many different ways,
She saw confidence growing in the face that she gazed.
The water refreshed her when she finally took a drink,
But the reflection was more fulfilling for Constance, I think.

With Name I shall cast my anchor
Taking care to never wreck the coral
Stone tablets I’ll cast to the sea
Stationery, my vessel in the breeze.
On the bow of this ship, my mind is free.
Loveliness became the shores before me.
Exquisite beauty in the shape of palms
Shimmering paths into vine covered hills
A stream runs up to a lake in the clouds
Feeding layers of clovers and grass and sage
Then rain came down and became the stars.
My stone tablets held fast in the breeze.
Remaining stationary on my vessel I see as
Evening became day and the stars became trees
Elegant curves fair the shores before me.
Gentle licks from a dove said above is to be
On the brow of a Love as alluring symmetry
”... to pleasure you, gives pleasure to me…”
A swirl of winds exchanging ecstasy
"The melodious song of a meadowlark"
Became blades of grass in a near by park
And a sun was set by this lost horizon…
On my ship I wept for my eyes were on.
Such beauty in their hearts as solitude
Peaceful grace as ease became longitude
Spring days lead to summers of Plentiful
Gentle Love is the Way of the people here
“The dying is slow and long are their years”

"What is beauty? Where is it to be found?" the pessimist mused.
"Beauty? - 'Tis to be found all about you!" the optimist enthused.
"For example, nothing will warm the soul or better yet beguile,
Than the beauty in the purity of a little child's smile!"
"But that is such an ordinary thing", the pessimist declared.
"Ah, but simple things hold untold beauty", the optimist shared.
"Look upon the beauty of the earth after a gently falling rain;
Do not the flowers bloom, enhancing the beauty of His domain?"
"I'll grant you that, but tell me more", the pessimist stated.
"Look for inner beauty in others", the optimist related.
"Gaze upon the beauty of our elders, their faces lined with care;
Is there anything more glorious than their silvery crown of hair?"
"You strike me as a learned philosopher", the pessimist allowed.
"No, I simply search for beauty in all things", the optimist avowed.
"Like the water's hymn as it plays its theme upon a flowing creek,
And the beauty of life and love - these are the things I seek!"
"Tell me, is it too late to change my view?" the pessimist sighed.
"Nay, 'tis never too late to start anew!" the optimist replied.
"Beauty and treasure abounds awaiting your full appreciation,
From the merest to the mightiest of God's magnificent Creation!"

I slowly count back from ten to one,
with closed eyes I watch the setting sun.
Breathing deeply as my heart begins to slow.
No regrets from now, all is done with nothing to show.
That grand door opens and I walk through,
a room with a view, a place that I always knew.
Uncertainty overwhelms, but I'm comforted by familiar sights.
I glide through the inevitable at ever growing heights.
Light surrounds me and I see truth in myself,
I then realise who I am and my great internal wealth.
Money has no place as this is beauty divine.
I hold that thought of joy as I drink a glass of fine wine.
My thoughts are my own and they belong to me,
It will be my duty to show them for all to see.
We all hold the key to a part of life not yet known,
It will be your turn too, to have them shown.
Looking beyond my known beliefs that naturally defend
I see a world so flawless, you would never comprehend.
Satin breeze, cotton clouds and angelic music all around
Limitless beauty from the trees, the sky and everything is profound.
I count from one to ten then I wake once more.
