Sometimes
By Michelle Morris
06/06/2026
Sometimes we get news
Sometimes we find out things
Sometimes our world is shaken
Sometimes our foundation stings
Sometimes we're not who we thought we were
Sometimes childhood ghosts reappear
Sometimes our hearts ache and get broken
Sometimes memories become unclear
Sometimes life completely blindsides us
Sometimes people let us down
Sometimes love leaves us in the dust
Sometimes hope makes us a clown
Sometimes we are too little
Sometimes we are too much
Sometimes the hope feels like it might kill us
Sometimes we feel stupid for our deep trust
Sometimes we fly too high
Sometimes we feel real low
Sometimes we're all feelings and emotions
Sometimes our souls just glow
Sometimes friendships completely burn us
Sometimes summer love becomes forever
Sometimes the Universe is mischievous
Sometimes destiny and fate are inevitable
Sometimes good strangers will surprise us
Sometimes our hope and faith turn life around
Sometimes love and light expand brightly
Sometimes our world view becomes profound
Sometimes life is a beautiful blessing
Sometimes we see things in a better light
Sometimes joy and happiness shines in our eyes
Sometimes our souls sparkle with delight

They wrote this play to target
folk like us to be together.
Anyone who share these types of interest
would find this worthy of paying
money to see.
It's a neither lacks excitement or meaning
instead it combines them both
with the popular detail that makes
something entertaining and great.
The play set it self uses a three room set
and a laboratory set where
the actors engage into the exciting skits
of know thingness
that fuses a storyline
which creates villans and heroes
allowing the folky people create
the narritive which
might instruct the audiences
sense of what's happening.
The guy wears a mask and stands
to distance him slef
while another man who knows whats going on
and he knows why it's going on so he
engages into foolishness with no purpose.
He dawns the same mask and stay's in the distance
too. The badguy mask wearer is looking for
the secret formula: he knows who has it
and he know's where it is. He must get close enough to
retreive the formula which he beleives to be his.

Inspired by the moving storyline in a show. It's not easy when our children grow up to abuse their children. Even when they disappoint us, we still love them.
I loved my son
By Michelle Morris
24/12/2025
When we have children
We are optimistic about their future
We believe in their potential
We believe in their goodness
We pray for their hearts
Their minds, their souls
We pray that they'll be
Good as gold
But that's not always
The way life works
Their journey is their own
Their choices can hurt
I loved my son
Despite what he did
I loved my son
From cradle to grave
Good or bad
He was my son
Good or bad,
I loved him all the same
Good or bad,
I feel his loss in my bones
Good or bad,
My heart is broken; my soul, alone
I love my grandson
He is another son to me
I love my grandson
He is a good man, indeed
Someone I'm proud to know
A man whose choices are gold
He is a hero, a warrior
He is a good father and friend
Life is a lot of loose ends
We don't always get the closure we deserve
We have to smile and accept it
We have to breathe and find peace
When we have children
We assume they'll outlive us
We don't imagine that heartbreak
Attending their funeral; trying to survive it
We pray for their hearts
Their minds, their souls
We pray that they'll be
Good as gold
But when they're gone
Before their time
It's a silent scream
Against the reason and rhymes
They may not be
Who we hoped they were
But it the end, we still love them
Because that deep love endures

always ends the same,
i’ve come to learn that loving someone is a dangerous game.
the only way i learned was from the pain of a mistake,
soon you get used to seeing people walking with there back turned to you.
from the start you know the ending you convince yourself this time it wont happen,
this is something new.
its never your happy storyline,
they wont even remember you when there forty-nine.
i know there is one i will always see in my rearview,
in those years to come i will always see you.
don’t blame me i never wanted you to leave,
you have moved on but i still grieve.
i tried to warn you about this game,
i tried to tell how it all ends the same,
you took it as a pinch of salt,
in the end you told me its not my fault.
just turn back around,
and you will see me there waiting to be found.

What stories ya'll talking bout
there are stories
all kinda stories
some make you smile
some make you sad
I'm kinda glad
to see you following the storyline
Mezzo, Mezzo Recitative mezzo
ah do say mezzo:Mezzo
Wave Bender: waveBender
Fry day: Fry day,
sing it Fry day!
Sing me a story of love
love oh love
sing me ah story about
something wunderful
some thing beautiful
cantar sing me a story about love
Plinka, plunka, pling:pling!
Plunka:plunka:plung: plung!
Plinka, plinka, plunka, pling, pling!
Why do I continue with this book
the chapters either deadly dull
or all the action occurring at once
in an overwhelming cascade of events
that muddles the mind
too complex to keep up with
impossible to sort out the storyline
rendering me confused and stupefied
A tedious and tiresome tragedy
The plot painfully predictable
yet I persevere through every page
pensive, apprehensive for the conclusion
that I’m certain will be formulaic
utterly forgettable
I’ve given up on others
under similar circumstances
returned them unfinished to the library
donated them to charity
It’s futile to have faith it will get any better
in the second half
yet I can’t bring myself to capitulate
to wave the white flag of surrender
and cast it aside
I will see this story through
to the bitter end
because it’s mine

Dear Madams and Sirs:
As you know we have been in neogacations to purchase the Pro Wrestling entity known as Pro Wrestling Canada
or Pro Canada International. The deal which would have combined the three companies has fallen through. We were able to procure only 44% of the company with another company who had been in a bidding frimsy against us. The Company WiffleBall Earth, has purchased a 44% share of the same company: with 22% of the company being held by the Board of Directers. If between now and Next thursday we aren't able to make a deal to with the Board of Directers to purchase a majority ownership of that company that the B>O>D> have created, we will then try to purchasce a majority share buy out of Wiffle Ball Earth. A current deal has been in the works to purchasce the WiffleBall Company. The Board of Directers have issued a Supension of Hosillties ACT that would divide the companies personal so that conversations between Newly formed Alliances and Factions which could further dived us as a cohesive unit. Furthermore company personal will be reassigned and a certain level of decoruim will be expected from employees of of this new merging Company. In an attemp to curtail any share buyiong or selling within the companies, all assets will be still vauable but suspended until Thursday of next week when a press conference will be held.

Was it a Kayfabe storyline or a real business deal?
There was an old lady named Lindy Loos
Her skin was a canvas adorned with tattoos
Her back and her front were a fine work of art
But one final message she had to impart
For now she was old she had reached ninety one
Tired and weaker for her time had come
Her tatts like her soul were now creased and faded
No longer danced till midnight or walked unaided
And as the tattooist prepared his ink
Her life in tattoos, well it made him think
of a life laid bare through her many tattoos
For her final inking these words she did choose
‘No more words, no more skin
No more images to ink within
My life like my tatts is now fading away
As I wait for my calling on that final day
Like my tatts I wouldn’t change a single storyline
My skin is my biography so read it if you have the time’
And as he completed this poignant rhyme
She had already gone - for this was her time

Often people are quick to judge folks with many inkings, but these tattoos can be representative of the trials and tribulations they have had to deal with in their lives, for some are troubled souls whose only way of expressing their feelings is to have them inked upon their bodies. I wanted to say in this poem 'please do not be quick to judge'. I myself have no tattoos, but know many who do.
Inspired by a moving storyline from a show. Rape takes more than a woman's body. It is a violation of her soul.
Piece of her soul
By Michelle Morris
12/08/2023
She sits in the dark
Can't leave her home
She doesn't believe in justice
She won't know their atonement
Two men took her body
They took her screams
They took a piece of her soul
They took her life's freedom
The terror and the nightmares
Whilst asleep and whilst awake
No one should have that power
Over another person's fate
Will she find the strength
To call back those pieces
Her shattered psyche
Her soul's darkened recesses
To use the power
The medicine inside
Support of her ancestors
Support of her tribe
Rape is more than four letters
It can lead to a life sentence
For the victim, not the perpetrators
One of those terrible life lessons
No woman deserves such cruelty
No man deserves such dominion
We are each accountable to the other
Our souls are linked in eternity
Let's start by turning on the Light
Within our souls and in our lives
Let's be gentle with each other
Make love and sex non weaponized

I find myself drifting through a galaxy of dreams....
Each one presented with endless possibility ...
Fresh new worlds before me thriving in infinite color, direction and depth, awaiting my command with script of storyline called from the past, present or future. Fantasies bursting with taste, sight, smell, and sound. All measure of potential joy engulf me with ringing tempo and exhilaration of my choosing …..
And yet…… I dream of you. The sound of your voice as it gives purpose to my soul..... the sight of your face as the radiance of your smile fills my heart with the glorious memory of perfection...
For though I gain endless possibilities of galaxy's pallet it comes to nothing least I live within the warm glow of your love. A love which consumes me,,, purifies me ,,, and lifts me to soar among the heavens...
Though I perish by surrendering every fiber of myself,,,let it be ... that I may find a place of refuge within your world….
