Premium Member What Would Jesus Do

Dragon's back! It’s Easter Time and, Yes; we’re going to church today...
Right after the Easter Egg Hunt. Ostrich eggs were perfect, for Dragon, I say…
The Trolls worked at painting them, all night. They wanted them perfect., for sure.
Psychedelic colors seemed to reign supreme. Yes… with lots of crazy bling! De Jure!

Grandpa Troll’s carrying the BIG basket that his penguins decorated in ribbons strung!
His penguins got to go on the egg hunt, too It’s their first, but each picked, only one.
They couldn't understand eating eggs so we gave them chicks, that will hatch, so…
It’s off to church we go, cowboy best for the penguins, tending their eggs as they go.

Dragon has his 'Dragon Hood' cape with yellow bib overalls, totally covered in bling!
Beside himself, till we said he could go. Now he's jumping up and down, as he sings!
He's going to church, for he needs all the help he can get, along the way, true.
We're trying to instill, ‘What Would Jesus Do’. Strengthen his character ideas, too.

But HE thinks he's already a STRONG character, and it's given him great success!
Don't think he understood, what strength of character means, so his soul, God Bless!
So what's next, he ask?... Gee! Taking the kitty down from the curtains would be nice.
You SCARED her there! Remember! When you jumped up and down, once or twice!

NO! You can't burn the curtains to get her down! Gee! I think he’s MISSING the point!
She’s going to church to light a candle for you… to help you find… a better viewpoint.
Remember, in life… Make love not War. Make Friends! After all… What would Jesus Do?
Kitty is TOO important! I'll read you a fable 'The Lion and the Mouse', after Church, too.

No! He didn't squish the mouse! Sigh! Think harder… THINK! WHAT WOULD JESUS DO!
Hope it's an up hill battle. More likely he'll fly over this hill, between, just me and you!
He LOVES church and after his last visit, they rebuilt the church, which was… assured!
They built our group our own SPECIAL section… Of that, you can definitely, be sure!

The church thought, for a very long time, but with a sigh, they knew…WWJD?!!!
Then prayed some more as they cried, at the thought, of what Dragon could do…
In the end, they built a fireproof room, for no matter what they though, to be true…
They knew Dragon is Gods little lost lamb and that’s just “What Jesus Would DO!’

Happy Easter to You!

Premium Member Ode To The Sun

O glorious dear sun, sovereign of the day, in the sky above
you’re one whose radiance resembles a little of God’s love;
by nurturing all creatures in the world with your unique rays
and setting such a high standard that homage everyone pays.

The Earth and all known planets habitually revolve around thee
as children do their parents whose offspring they happen to be.
Your emissary in the night sky, the moon, a bright reflection is
serving us as a reminder of thy glory while displaying all of his.

You shine on one and all and no discrimination ever make
regardless of who they are and what they do for their sake.
It is no wonder then that people have worshiped you as a deity in the past
and even now continue to do so in ways associated with the weather forecast.

When your light is obstructed by clouds all seems to be somber and gray
but when the sky is clear your majestic presence illumines the whole day.
The whole world in fact dances to thy rhythmic score which has been set
and plays itself out daily as the dawn and dusk through a yearly quartet.

You have such a strong influence on all life as we know it here
that whether we like it or not you’re a symbol of hope and cheer.
Though it has also been noted that you sometimes have an extreme side
but this depends on the whims of nature to which all things must abide.

All in all to the naked eye you alone reign supreme in the sky’s vast firmament
but to those who see further you’re one of countless others which you represent.
The stars in the night sky are your brothers and sisters no matter how distant they be
some being greater and brighter, but made of the same basic stuff, in the cosmic sea.

There are so many secrets hidden in your bosom which are yet to be revealed
that if and when the time comes much is to be known about life still concealed.
In fact the power and energy that flows to us from you I daresay has a divine source
because you yourself are a center and beacon of a universal benign and creative force.

And just as you really give so much and seem to ask for nothing in return
I humbly offer this ode to you in praise which by your inspiration did learn.
And although most intelligent creatures hold you in such high esteem
please also acknowledge our debt to you for allowing us to daydream.

Rappers And Legends In The UFC

RAPPERS & LEGENDS IN THE UFC

In the Octagon, where fists collide,
All Eyez on we, the view is worldwide.
This battle's a wild mix of might & rhythm,
But when the ref calls time, it's all for a gold limb.4

Tupac enters first with ferocity and might,
Throwing rhyme-punches at anything in sight.
Shakur is a warrior with words that pierce,
In the cage, his passion is so fierce.8

Biggie Smallz steps in, swagger and style,
His lyrics hit hard, his punches fueled by guile.
A heavyweight with rhymes so smooth,
In the UFC, his flows would make crowds groove.¹²

Eminem jumps in, the lyrical genius unbound,
With lightning speed, his opponents confound.
The real Slim Shady proves he's the lyrical master,
His rapid-fire knocks out opponents faster.¹6

Here comes Kendrick Lamar, a UFC pro.
In the octagon, he brings the flyest flow.
A warrior poet, he weaves a lyrical spell,
Knocks-out his foes before the jingle of the bell.²°

50 Cent's in the ring, ice cold, bold & untamed,
Knocking out opponents, leaving them maimed.
When he brings the Gorilla Units, there's tremor
But when he's solo, he's sharp as a razor.²4

Snoop Dogg's turn, laid-back, swag & chill,
His flow hypnotizes, his punches kill.
Unleash him in the cage, watch him brag
With hit smash, he's always on track.²8

Lil' Wayne joins the fight, tattooed and bold,
His wordplay stings, his punches take hold.
Young Mulla won't back down from any rap mission,
His punches hit hard like a lyrical collision.³²

Wiz Khalifa enters, smooth like no other,
His punches light up foes, he's a stunner!
With his cold-chill swag & cool demeanor,
He brings the smoke & reigns like the guvnor.³6

And last but not least, Travis Scott takes a stand,
His melodic punches echo through the land.
Trap Music King with energy on full blast,
In the Octagon, his performance would last.4°

As the rappers clash in this UFC rap quest,
Their words like punches put their skills to the test.
Each with their own unique vibe and flair.
Envision the battles they would share.44

As the crowd roars, this sight appeared sublime,
Their applause jubilant, returning us from the dream,
For in this arena, these rappers reign supreme.47

Collide O Scope

Perceptions of the world around us,
are shaped by what we’ve lost or found in the
dusts of membrance, trusts of memberment
    busts of everEssentialEssences
            bodies of discernment

In every person, there’s a story
A deep, complex and vivid glory

Some see beauty, some see pain
The same landscape, yet not the same pane
We view the world through coloured glass
And some may see a rose,
                      others thorns en masse
                   of briared walls
of no escape, of the impasse,
                      razored maws agape

Perceptions can be joyful or bleak
               A kaleidoscope, that’s ever unique
We love, we hate, we laugh, we cry
Our emotions, reflections that lie beneath,
ripples of watery eye, the deep rings
                        of being a being

Yet, if we could just take a step back
And see with the eyes of a love we lack
              Our perceptions might just change
And the world could be transformed
                  in brilliant range,
back to a pleasing view the eye feasts to see

In the end, it’s all we’ve got
Our feelings, perceptions, and our own plot
            of coordinate directions aloft
So, let us cherish and embrace
                 The beauty and the love,
with no trace of hate and have it all,
                     instead of the have nots

For when we see beyond ourselves
And feel the pain of someone else
Our perceptions broaden wide and far
And love can heal the deepest scars

So let us walk with open hearts
And see the beauty in all parts
For in this world of joy and strife
We all deserve to live a life-

Where love and kindness reign supreme
And hopes and dreams can always gleam
Let's shift our perceptions, just a bit
And make this world a brighter, better fit,
for a better place for dreams

strong does the wind blow.
against it, she walks towards me;
two guitars I hold.

Four parakeets
Living in a little cage
Singing for freedom

Why do you seek us?
Earthlings, you are so far away.
You will find, that we...

thirsty little flame,
not orange, crimson or red;
highlights sister's scales.

Sandals speak below,
Though sand knows no prejudice;
Sun begins to shine.

Each page is Hellboy,
Read with warmth in my sunroom;
Tiled floor gently glows!

a room filled with mirrors,
collected by a blind man;
hoping to once see.

Tarot's number nine,
wisdom boarded isolation.
here to set it free.

hello dear nature
and to the spiders inside
outside I will be

Grimlocke the Oracle,
Born to teach us prophecies.
What has he to say?

I'm a happy cat,
you are my fine gingerbread,
let's go out for milk!

'found my old guitar,
played just a major seventh;
strings were out of tune

dreaming and daring.
And with this shovel, digging;
for dinosaur bones.

ouch, squeezing my eyes,
a nail has entered my foot.
taking a look; rust!

baby elephant,
life will be so hard for you;
baby elephant.

room to room I walk.
each turn doggies follow;
love is mutual.

sitting on my stool,
gazing beyond my guitar;
reaching for my drink.

drunken pirate heads north.
epic adventure begins;
treasured gazebos.

lost; knowing where I am,
very slowly I shake my head;
lost; knowing where I am.

polymorphic six
everywhere where you shall look six
cryptography six

one two three four five
days away from the Amazon
curious Return

tasty yellow rice
simmering in shiny tin
lunch will be awesome

romantic squirrel,
painted his acorns crimson;
appreciated!

gluttonous owl,
eating extra meals each day;
tree branches annoyed

black daylight cricket
happens to have lost his way
friends will wait to play

escaped parakeet
from one strange place to another
panicked guardsman prowls

The trilogy dance...
Boxing on midnight canvas;
Who will reign supreme?

Five lighted candles,
What will your fortune behold?!?
A tarot draw; hot!

Unbelievable
Just indefatigable

forest is alive
moon lights up pathways and trails
horns are all I see

New Jersey is quaintly known as the Garden State for fun
with sandy beaches kissed by ocean waves beneath golden Sun
amusement parks and midway piers stream wooden boardwalk
arcades offer magic machines with flashing lights that talk.

boat rides on blue Atlantic coast and fishing by the bay
surfing upon white capped waves as marble tourneys play
shopping at the mini malls, stopping for frosty treat
funnel cake or snow cones to alleviate the heat.

racing monster wheels doing 'wheelies' in beige sand
as lovers stroll the promanade in love while hand in hand
bed and breakfast hideaways to feed the appetite
miniature golf on hotel rooftops close to the Moon at night.

Memories in Margate with The Geeter With the Heater*
Convention Center marathons for dancers digging beaters
casino trips for tourists and residents alike
a visit to the Cape May Zoo or riding cool mountain bike.

roadside stands selling vegetables and fruits
plants and flowers beautiful from full grown or from roots
the scenic drive through highways or back roads share greenview
still munching on hot Curly's fries in circled crunchy chew.

a seashore paradise and a Summertime resort
with Christie at the helm with a positive report
museums of great art and historical conquests
a friendly atmosphere New Jersey loves to welcome guests.

sports reign supreme, with many choices of teams to cheer
fans follow scores from near and far in sports clubs drinking beer
good education for all children schools excellently rated
and seniors are protected in communities so gated.

a native of the Garden State am proud to boast and say
once you visit all the magic places to take your breath away
even Hurricane Sandy could not dissuade the residents
everyone joined in unison to assist with dire events.

New Jersey towns will build again in love with this great State
positive outlooks count so much .. even erases hate
and when we lay our heads down at night to pray
we thank God for His blessings in a very special way.

Not Going Back

We are not going back
What are we going back to?
Back to oppression?
Back to man’s obsession with power?
Telling us what to do.

That was the original sin
Don’t you recall?
When back in the garden, mankind thought we knew it all?

And oh, what a mess we’ve made ever since then,
Repeating the same mistakes over and over again.

You know what’s that called right?

If we go back, we’ll turn into a pillar of salt,
Best believe every one of us will end up in default.
We’ll lose out on the world we all desire in our dreams,
A world where peace and freedom reign supreme.

We are not going back to the strife and division,
Where men think they can make all the decisions.
And dictate what’s best for you and me,
How is that considered unity?

Red, Yellow, Black, Brown and White,
We must all stand together in this fight!

Don’t you remember? In the year two, zero, two, zero,
There was a disease no person had ever seen before.
But some so-called leaders thought they know so much more,
And countless of our loved ones died,
All because of their schemes, denial and lies.

We are not going back to judgement and hate due to color of our skin,
Have we learned nothing from way back when?
If the sins of our past cannot be defeated,
We can be rest assured, they’ll most definitely be repeated.

Why can’t we all march forward together hand in hand?
With a common destination that uplifts all humans.
With our eyes on the future and hope in our hearts,
Let’s all look ahead and each do our part.

We are not going back and not a devil in hell can make us,
For such a time as this, a new direction awaits us!
Our destination…. that American dream we’ve all read and heard about,
We are not going back, instead, we’re coming out!

We’re coming out of darkness, out of hate, out of pain and out of poverty.

We’re coming out of fear, out of despair, and out of division.

We’re coming out of entitlement, out of bondage and out of disappointment.

We’re coming out of injustice, out of deception and out of hopelessness.

Again, I say, and I say it with a shout!
We are not going back, instead we’re coming out!

During the Eve

2/14/17

At similar and different degrees
Animals, humans, and objects proceed
At lower and higher speeds
By the land and sea
Near many trees
Bearing fruit, or mainly leaves

Far too many display greed
Being naive, with intentions that deceive
And mislead

I believe
Indeed
I'll succeed
And achieve
While following through on deeds
As I aim to exceed

Burned, dug and pulled weeds
Some of which got cleaved
And eventually heaved
Into a orderly pile before, after or during the eve

Pollen in the breeze
Causing those allergic to sneeze
Near and far from hives of bees

Some pray on their knees
In the midst of Summer heat or Winters freeze

Evidence and other items getting seized
Some but not all could be got back through paying fees

What was difficult for many, may have been done by others with ease
Regardless of if they have prestige

A vast amount of cuisines
With greens
And or meats, some of which considered lean

Either following or breaking the creed
In the midst of, or behind the scenes

Handmade crafts and figurines
And others created by machines

Instead of charging in with a head full of steam
Better think and heed
While trying to grasp what it means

Do you agree or disagree
That is not all that it seems?

Areas with weather considered extreme
Occasionally turning things into smithereens

Another night where I didn't dream
Whether I did or didn't fall asleep in front of a screen

Can the soul be redeemed
Despite there being no guarantee

Finished tasks solo or in a team
Above and below terrain having ravines

Dirtied up, scuffed and cut my jeans
The same could be said for my sleeves

Not yet have I had mead
Or paid for a limousine

Close and beyond places known for the occasional stampede

Could it have been preventable with vaccines
For afflictions and disease
Above and below streams
As well as submarines

However this all may be deemed
There is no hidden strings or schemes

It is good to read
Brain, body, soul and spirit need to feed

Intervene
Got to switch up the same old routines
And reign supreme

Premium Member In the labyrinth of thoughts where shadows dance with echoes of forgotten liberties

In the labyrinth of thoughts where shadows dance with echoes of forgotten liberties,
Where the moon casts its silver veil upon the silent watchers of the night,
He wanders, a soul lost in the sea of melancholy, a dreamer adrift in the waves of time,
Contemplating the chains that bind him, the unseen hands that guide his every step,
Through the winding corridors of his consciousness.
To be governed is to be enveloped in an invisible web of surveillance,
To be watched over by eyes that see but do not understand,
To be inspected, spied on, by men who claim authority without wisdom,
Directed and legislated by those who know neither justice nor compassion,
A puppet in the grand theater of control, where the strings are pulled by unseen hands.
He feels the weight of regulation, the suffocating grip of arbitrary rules,
Every action recorded, every thought indoctrinated,
Preached to by voices that echo in the chambers of his mind,
Controlled and assessed, weighed and censored,
By those who neither have the right nor the virtue to judge.
In the stillness of the night, when the world is draped in silence,
He meditates on the paradox of freedom, the illusion of autonomy,
A solitary wanderer painting his sorrows on the canvas of the dark,
With the ink of disillusionment, the brush of despair,
Each stroke a testament to the invisible chains that bind him,
Each line a whisper of the dreams that once soared free.
Yet, in this desolate landscape of control and surveillance,
He finds a strange, twisted beauty, a haunting melody in oppression,
A tragic grace in the decay of liberty,
And he wonders, as he wanders through the labyrinth of his mind,
If perhaps, in this melancholy, there lies a hidden truth,
A secret yet to be unveiled, a key to the chains that bind.
For in the depths of night, where shadows reign supreme,
And the moon's silver whispers weave their tales,
He is but a dreamer, a soul seeking the light of true freedom,
In a world where governance is but a shadow,
An echo of what could be, and the haunting melody of what is lost.
