You Never Let Me Down-In You I Believe...........

MY FATHER,
I thank you, if it wasn't for you i wouldn't be here today
i thank you for loving me unconditionally as i am,
i thank you for being always there with an ear to hear me,
i thank you for showing me the paths i ought to walk,
i thank you for providing me with good food and health,
         i thank you for being a pillar,everytime i felt insecure,unloved,
i thank you for forgiven me everytime i got stubborn
and did it my way as if i knew better than you know myself,
i thank you for your big heart, your kindness a radiance upon my soul
i thank you for being my strength in my weaknesses, every time i fall giving
me your hand so i rise up again, not scolding me but showering me with love
my dear father,
i thank you for all that you've created for me,this heaven on earth,
the beautiful rivers, mountains, forests, water cascades and nature's glory.
i thank you for the yellow sun which warms me every morning,
the sun which brightens my days.i thankyou for the moon and the stars
which twinkles soft sweet light, lullabying me to sleep....................
i thank you for the rain which feeds and nourishes the crops,so i may
eat ,live and survive,i thankyou for the thunderstorms which reminds me
of your power, that with you near me i'm safe, you're my knight protecting me.
my dear father,
i can never stop thanking you,the list is never ending,my last thanks would go
for the rainbow which every now and then peeps through my window sill,
the beautiful coloured rainbow which reminds me of the path...........
the path, the gift of love to me---to your rebellious naughty little child.........
a grown up woman now, still a child in your eyes-------------------------------
i love you my father and i can't wait to see you face to face in the land of no
sorrows, the land of love, serenity and peace......................................
thank you dear God for being My perfect DAD
This big hug is for you ---In my own imperfect love i love you.............
            H A P P Y F A T H E R'S DAY-------------YOUR DAUGHTER

In the twilight of a restless world, where minds are chained to glowing screens,
The machine-like hum of existence drowns the whispers of the soul,
People move like automatons, their essence eroded by the electronic tide,
A slow degradation of well-being, a quiet erosion of dignity, intolerable in the end.
In this programmed environment, where the air grows thick with indolence,
Eyes, once bright with wonder, now reflect only the cold, indifferent light,
Hearts, once fierce with passion, now beat slow and hollow,
Minds, once sharp and curious, now dulled by the narcotic glow of the screen.
The political tapestry unravels, threads of self-governance fray,
For in this digital haze, people cease to govern themselves,
They demand to be managed, to be told, to be led,
The spark of autonomy dims, replaced by the flicker of dependency.
Yet, even within this mechanized labyrinth, a glimmer of recognition remains,
Humans possess the profound ability to see themselves, to carve out sanctuaries of thought,
In the cool, verdant garden of personal growth, away from the machine's relentless grip,
We cultivate sweet fruit, a testament to our resilience, sufficient for our sustenance.
In this garden, the soul finds solace, the mind finds clarity,
Every thought a blossom, every idea a ripe fruit,
We nurture our essence, we reclaim our dignity,
And in this quiet haven, we gather enough fruit to share with others.
The machine hums outside, but here, in this sacred space,
We breathe deeply, we think freely, we exist fully,
For in the act of personal cultivation, we defy the mechanical mandate,
We reclaim our humanity, we restore our spirit.
So let the world outside buzz with its electronic cadence,
Within our garden, we find the rhythm of life,
A rhythm that nourishes, that sustains, that connects,
A rhythm that reminds us of who we are, beyond the machine's cold embrace.
In the twilight of a restless world, we find our sanctuary,
A place where the soul can breathe, where the mind can wander,
Where the heart can beat strong and true,
In this garden of personal growth, we find our magic, our melancholy,
And in the sharing of our sweet fruit, we find our purpose, our connection, our humanity.

Premium Member Five Ducklings Feeding

Five ducklings feeding

The back of the camper bus
proudly sported the family
seven yellow stickers ducks
five little ducklings in a line
feeding on life presented to
the world growth sustenance
nourishment and meaning

For every fellow traveller
to ponder smile anticipate
what little team was to alight
at temporary destinations
sheltered tented playgrounds
swings and roundabouts
cul-de-sacs and traffic lights

To get all ducks into a row
once they emerged enriched
our little feeding station
food bank vital well and
fields of plenty needed
diverse and un-divided
attention chaos letting go

Meal times at times with rubber
ducks in bathtubs burping
passing winds of change
incorporating kilojoules
compassion love and swirling
compromise uncertain certainty
floated in the ocean of life
yet to be swum and dived in
with the buoyancy of living

Little duckling was still small
and sat beside as older
sister eager helper supervisor
when our triplet power three
in one as courtesy of nature
and individual little mouths
to feed lay on their backs
on sleeping bags as wonderment
in waiting for the spoon with
apple mush and cinnamon
to take its turn to reach their gums
To complete the pentagon
of childish folly serious fun
and exploration another little duckling
observed from inside womb in
its fertile spring to yet conjoin the river
contemplated when and where
to splash out into beauty question marks
and tribulations sparkling brotherhood
and food for life and pleasure
whirlpools cascades and little ripples

The spoon went one to one
and to another next to here and
there forward backward and beyond
my wildest expectations of what food
and feeding holding precious gifts
in hand released from nature
into nature ingesting measured
unimaginable and definite provision
nurtures nourishes what was what is

The birds have flown the nest
they feed and feed me just the same
and it is not just those trivial stickers
sign posts on the buzling bus
and more than ever and for
every one who wants to see the
picture depiction metaphor
the unsurpassed experience
which reminds me of simplicity of
gratitude and feeling warm inside

Premium Member Through the thin veil of memories

Through the thin veil of memories,
nights flow like a river of ancient ink,
weaving mystic shadows in the silent dance of time.
There is no shortage of good days,
but good lives are like hidden treasures,
rare and precious, like falling stars in the infinite night.
A life of good days lived through the senses is not enough;
the life of sensation is the life of greed,
an unquenchable flame that burns ever more intensely,
demanding more and more.
My body has known this greed,
the unbridled desire to feel,
to live in the whirlpool of sensations.
But my spirit, oh, my spirit,
has found solace in deep silence,
in those moments when time stops and becomes a silent friend,
a sweet and eternal caress.
The life of the spirit requires less and less,
time unfolds like a vast ocean,
and its passage is like a lullaby of the universe.
Who would understand the joy of a day spent in the company of books,
those silent friends who reveal their secrets only to those who know how to listen?
But an entire life, lived in the sacred dance of words,
this is the true treasure,
a good life, full of meaning,
that demands little but offers everything.
My soul finds rest in pages,
in those silent universes,
where time becomes an illusion,
and each day transforms into an eternity of sweet melancholy,
of pleasant solitude, of deep wisdom.
Through the open window of my soul,
nights flow like a river of ink,
but in the depths of this river, I have found peace.
And in this peace, I have discovered the meaning of a good life –
a life lived in words, a life lived in spirit,
like a butterfly flying among the petals of dreams,
my soul nourishes itself with the nectar of words.
In the silence of libraries, among shelves full of worlds,
I have found peace and meaning.
Days come and go, but words remain,
accompanying me on my journey through life.
They are my lighthouse in the storms of uncertainty,
my compass in the labyrinth of existence.
A good life is not measured by the number of days lived,
but by the depth of experiences.
And the deepest experience is that of living in words,
of losing oneself in the pages of a book,
of finding oneself in the infinite universe of the mind.

Blue Light Bulbs and a Bottle of Bleach and the Incandescent Must Win -Part 2

“Deep, deep, deep. Listen and hear our faint gait.
Sanitation, fluorescent lights, and a PC pillow for smother.
Agree! Agree! Atone! Suck it in and suff-o-cate.
White-ness. Black. Ev’ry creed, faith, and color. Listen to Nanny State and call her your mother.”

A wilting flower and grass that’s mowed
Are ever learning why the wilt and why the harm
Innovation, creativity, and where Americana once flowed
Abandoned by the Deep as “fly over” and robbed and made empty the house and the farm

Nude, nude hush in the cellar and the hand can’t hold the gavel
“Trade with China, take arms to China. In Syria sustain the war.
Rude, rude, rude! Abuse of power and a ban on travel.”
Rightful tariffs to the farmers and the market still tends to soar

“Bully the one we call a bully or brute.
A triggered, flying milkshake will save a safe space.
‘You get out and make a crowd!’ You fight! You punch! -- You loot!
And if you see his son about, spit in his face and invade the place.”

Knowledge of good and evil, and the tree from which it sprang
Covet, covet, corrupt in Kiev; greed was found a-Bidden
An Arkansas mansion mem’ry and sight on the oval did haunt and did pang
An outsider, and drainage of septic forbidden

“The farmers don’t want handouts or charity.”
But past year’s labor sets this year’s price
And The Salt of the Earth today will have clarity
The cream off the barrel of tariffs is their due, and the tycoon’s not calling it “nice”

“I’ll still call you a hater. You deplorable vulture!
Because the map in November robbed us our due!”
It’s not 'the other' we hate; it’s your stainless-steal culture
You polled the what, -- (here a hint and a Midwestern clue)
you owned the what, but Deep, my dear, you forgot about us and left sour the Who.

Warm, warm, yellow warm incandescent nourishes
Blue, blue, sterile, starving, hopeless erie --essence
Nanny off the hitch and hands uncuffed --a dirt road gives and flourishes
With the death of equity and the light of equality. And the tapestry shall dawn irid--escence

The long bulb dies along the edges and fringes
Clinical, global culture to the bin
The gate has fallen off its rusted hinges
And the incandescent will win.

Premium Member I'M Here Because

I'm here because.....
I need you to believe in me
You...Yes, YOU!
My fellow poet..
You who understands
my love for words and their nuances
denotations, but even more...their connotations
their play and interplay of emotions

I need you to believe in me
believe in my voice
my selection and word choice
believe that I can make a change
with my catalytic composition of rhyme
in this present time
when the world is in pain
when there is so much to gain
by the prophetic cry of a poet in the wildness
I need you to believe in me

I'm here because...
I need you to empathize with me
you who sees my words dripping
the blood of my lacerated heart
I'm incomplete
scarred
I'm scared
I'm holding on by one last thread
at times overcome by dread
life is hard
I need you to empathize with me
to write a little word
that will lift my heart
and caress my soul
with the balm of poetic love
friendship's bandage
Cover me....
I need your empathy

I'm here because...
I need community
others don't understand
this is not just a pastime
a cute little way to occupy my time
It's my heart and soul
my ever present dream...my goal
to live on when I'm gone
in some remembered little song
that you helped we write along
I need community
I need the you and the me
In the communal dance of poetry
They don't see
what words mean
to you
to me

I'm here because...
I need your wisdom
I fall short
I see only within my vision
my periphery
I cannot keep in store
all the mysteries and more
you bring wisdom daily to me
a feast for my hungry mind
to relish all the truth I find
your wisdom nourishes me
I bloom into what I'm meant to be:
a writer of sincerity

I'm here because....
When I'm not
I'm so incomplete
the missing parts of me
are here....
they live in my lines
they breathe in your rhymes
you write; I read
I write; you read
and life is born
and I am
whole...

I'm here because....
I belong
Here are people who understand
who help me to stand
who lend me a hand
I'm part of a band
of people like me
who taste the ecstasy
of a life that is blessed
by sweet
poetry....

Premium Member From Now On

From now on, I depend on God* for my salvation
Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven’s mansion
He, thru His blood, paid for my redemption
As He reached down to me with His compassion.
Thus, I possess His eternal life geared for transformation!

From now on, I rely upon God for my growth’s progress
The Father feeds me with His provisions without stress
He leads me along His truth and righteousness’ fortress
As He nourishes me by His wondrous grace and divine caress.
Thus, I advance for His business, never His will to suppress!

From now on, I trust God for my pursuit toward holy living
The Lord cleanses my filthiness that makes my soul starving
He sanctifies me from my worldly, vain and carnal craving,
As He assures me that my sins He is constantly forgiving.
Thus, I, for His name’s sake, keep on virtuously striving!

From now on, I lean on God for my stability
The Savior strengthens me by His tenacity
He assures me His presence amidst any calamity
As He upholds me whenever I’m into adversity.
Thus, I’m clinging to His unwavering capacity!

From now on, I cleave to God for my contentment
The Spirit fills me with peace and encouragement
He satisfies me by His Word’s empowerment
As He secures me thru His perfect settlement.
Thus, I now rest in His promised victorious commitment!

From now on, I obey God in my stewardship and service
The Master called me to work in His great office
He guides me with wisdom that can biblically police
As He rewards my diligence with sacrifices’ pumice.
Thus, I’m now enjoying my labor, moved by earnest practice!

From now on, I entrust to God my welfare and future
The King fulfills His plan for me so I can virtuously mature
He prepares me well for heaven’s glorious grandeur
As He excites me on what to happen during the rapture.
Thus, I now await His coming in my spiritual adventure!

*Psalm 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Key Verse – Hosea 11:10 They shall walk after the LORD…

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY WALK DIRECTOR AND GUIDE

Lord God, You are my walk Director and Guide
Who directs me even since I was a child
Thank You for saving me with Your love from being sin-defiled
Indeed redeeming my soul against hell furiously wild…
Keep me abiding in Your perfect will, divinely styled.

Lord God, You are my walk Director and Guide
Who hinders me from being a backslider
Thank You for calling me with Your deliverance-order
Indeed letting me enter into Your safety border…

Lord God, You are my walk Director and Guide
Who leads me by Your covenant

Thank You for instilling in me truth needed for soulwinning
Indeed reinforcing me for discipleship and stewardship-gaining…
Keep me trusting Your Word toward continuous faith-refining.

Lord God, You are my walk Director and Guide
Who nourishes me with Your goodness
Thank You for nurturing me by Your kindness
Indeed reviving me to serve You along devotion’s earnestness…
Keep me obeying Your voice to work, practicing diligence against slothfulness.
