The Immortal Soul

We look around and see
How beautiful things are –
The color of the leaves;
The sparkling distant stars

But inside also beauty lies
Behind the nearest pair of eyes;
Within the hearts of those who care,
And in the frequent passerby

It is in lives we never knew,
And friends we could not have;
In memories kept close to us,
The joyful and the sad

And though our lives will one day fade –
Our bodies turn to dust,
The traces of a beauty shared
Endure in everlasting trust

Etched clear in stone they will remain
On temples hidden deep inside,
Unseen by most, yet visible –
A spirit which can never die.

Premium Member Our Hidden Beauty

On this amazing little island
In our universe of black
We are the people
And nature i thank for that

We are the same but different
We would stand out against a wall
But there is a hidden beauty
That is born within us all

The next time you go shopping
In the center near your home
Sit in silence and look around
And watch our beauty roam

What your eyes will capture
Will fill your heart with glee
Its the hidden beauty within us
That surfaces in front of thee

You'll see children with their mothers
Couples walking hand in hand
People laughing, enjoying themselves
In feelings we all understand

On this amazing little island
That we call planet earth
The beauty born within us all
Is more than riches worth

Premium Member Awe Inspiring

My awe inspiring moments of today
The beauty of a sunset changing colors
There were sand colored clouds against
The bluest of blue skies

Then these clouds turned to black
It seemed in almost seconds
Then further South the same sun
Was casting red onto the horizon

I ask myself how can this be
All these are horizons
All the same sun
All the same sky

This beauty was just for me
I don't get to see sunsets
From where I live very much
Without going to a good bit of trouble

This awed me today
Moments just for me
Thank you God for the beauty
For a day with a sunset with no rain
