Premium Member Winter Sun

Our old dog, Xena, and I were up early, the legacy of age, I guess. As we started our walk, the air was crisp and still, the sky just beginning to show its blue with a faint orange tinge along the eastern horizon and Venus bright, untwinkling, above. No airplanes, an unexpected benefit of the pandemic.

As we crossed the bridge, the dark waters of the creek contrasted with the white snow covered fields. I headed up the hill to take in the view but Xena waited below investigating new smells. Two worlds one visual the other olfactory. The realization that all this happens every morning only intensifies the wonder.

winter sun rises
bearing false promise of warmth
my coat keeps me

N I G G E R

N.I.G.G.E.R (Nigeria Is God's Greatest Enunciated Race)

On the road to Africa lies riches & diamond rings,
In the land of green & white & green,
The men with "three eyes" are kings,
Raising above sickening sins that stinks
And becoming a god without God investigating,
Corporate Merriment on the day of their joy
Though we're questioning & vexing.
We're Unforsaken but a 'chosen generation,
A royal priesthood, an holy nation'
(Though could be unholy in her approach sometimes),
Beauty & power laudest in our ovation,
A land of brown sands, blood & brine,
Riches & undying hope in its prime,
Queuing vehicles & praying hands
To lend our spirit, soul & body wholly
Like ghost to trouble joy, we tell the story;
Eyes gaze at the pilot stars
Calculating our abundance & scattered equations.
So let's swear an oath
On the highest mountains & hills
Like starved whores on pills,
Like gods careless of mankind under their eyes,
That greatness will be a reality someday,
And like lost treasures from a capsized ship
Nature shall wash your shells where this land lies
And it shall breed saviours of our kind.

Cyril the Tramp

An old Tramp wandered around locally
When I was young man in my early teens
I used to see him daily wandering around in a daze
Dressed in an old dirty jacket and well worn out jeans
But what made him so memorable, I still think about him to day
Was what was with him was a Badger on an old black lead
With its short legs and Weasel like black and white stripped head
On a seat near an old railway bridge they would often stop to feed
Eating any scraps they found checking out local litter bins
Whatever they found would be their meal of the day
Sometimes they would sit there till night time came
Then they get up and go on their merry way
Where they would spend the night nobody knows
But they were always up bright and early and out on their round
Always walking along cheerfully Cyril whistling a tune
But Bertie his Badger making nary a sound
Passer’s by would just nod and wish them good day
Walk by with smile and a look of surprise and an inquisitive look
Occasionally giving a few pennies as they went passing by
With Cyril and Bertie heading for the old brook
Where they could both par take a drink from the freshwater steam
Eat what morsels of food they to help them through the day
Sitting there silently admiring the view
Enjoying life in their own indomitable way
A more stranger couple it would be hard to find
But they never bothered anyone in their indomitable way
It was strange to see these two stalwarts of the road
One Human one Animal a strange combination to meet at any time of day
They got together on a dark late evening in December
Cyril wandering through the local woods on this winter’s night
Looking for shelter, just a place to lay his weary head,
When he heard this loud noise which gave him a fright
Investigating, he found Bertie caught in an old trap
He freed him immediately and used an old rag to bandage his wound
Then they spent the night together sheltering from the wind and the rain
From that time onward their relationship just bloomed
They have been together now for many a year
I see them quite often out and about on their walk
And always say hello with a smile and give Cyril a ten bob note
I wonder what Bertie would say if only he could talk

See What You Believe,

Believing is seeing,

The truth of your being,

While navigating,

This life you are creating.

Investigating its splendor,

We begin to remember,

Who we really are.

Connected even from afar,

Our origins a star,

Traveling trails in the dark.

As a spark, illumination starts,

Creating all the right parts,

Building a work of art,

A masterpiece.

Your beliefs released,

Taming the beast,

Coming into peace,

Ceasing inner conflict,

Without being tricked,

Into believing another view.

Letting them teach you,

What they believe is true,

God gave this life to you,

To believe how you want too,

Loving the gift he has given to you.

Premium Member Fbi Supervisor Heimbach written by Mrs Yolanda Joy Nicholsen

We met again this time the salvation army
on Lake Michigan the four children and I
with child were homeless after a horrid
experience when all of a sudden standing
before me the German man seeking my help
investigating the ultimate betrayal I suppose

corruption the war on weapons drugs
at it's complete finest my job consisted
of wearing wires connected to my womb
with an odd attachment that was placed
in my pockets I entered the dwellings
and purchased weapons drugs ammunition

I wondered if the fbi could hear
the baby heart beat rather they could
actually tell the difference between
mine and the fetus my hands were
sweating as we approached the unseemly
hostage situations I felt as if we were

a family fbi supervisor Heimbach supervised
the operation before leaving taking my children
to the beach singing as if this day was of
sheer peace odd notions arose beneath
a sullen sphere of fight flight I simply
swallowed fear unable to breathe until

20 years later imagine that on my
government job on an Airforce base
time shattered into I was back there
panting shaking eyes wide concerned
troops gathered asking my unit my division
was I special opt Delta force Charlie company

was I from desert storm which war did I serve
I was just a mom standing before me medic
embracing me come back mother come back
holding my chest heart pounding like thunder
slowly responding with great wonder and toil
this war on weapons drugs on American soil

Searching For That Special One

Actions speak louder than words, some say
Belonging to that period of time, we call day
Considering their impact on others, we may
Develop that strategy, and keep negativity away

Endlessly searching for that special one
Frankly speaking, will that time ever come?
Going to convince yourself you've won
How to deal with failure, calling yourself dumb

Investigating a way for you to have fun
Jack of all trades, yet master of none
Keeping the truth from under the sun
Laughing at you, you turning numb

Managing those feelings of despair
No one knows of those cries you fear
Over and over you say that you care
Predictable enough, when you pull out your hair

Quickly running to gain that control
Relying on your friend, in whom you've trusted your soul
Standing there alone when all takes its toll
Then finding out, devastated, she's been that mole

Under that pillow, the one you once wished to share
Victory to those that you thought had a care
Willing no longer to ever bring near
Xenophobe is now that condition you bare

You've now learned one of many more lessons to come
Zealous in choosing that someone to call, "Special One"

Murder Mystery

Today is a global problem where murder is a place personified as corruption of anger, greed and pure sadism

Today is the fear of the killing of a fellow human with weapons only known by the killer

A murder of chance and not finding out the truth but resolving cases after years of waiting. similarising torture, sexual assault, mutilation before having the body thrown like a nobody in a remote dumping site soon to be discovered

Today is an association of authorities between crime commited by the same person and crimes commited by innocents locked up to wear orange uniforms
A theory of responsibilities, interviews and more

A little written process of arrests, rumors, soon spranging up powerful pedophile rings with the identification of the killer
A murder soon to be uncovered

Today a case of separate commission investigating evidence in the trial gave birth to victory from hanging to life imprisonment

Victory leading to solving the mystery long waited for to conquer!

Premium Member A Woolly One

It was from the early 1800s
This phrase was first used
I'm sure it has other meanings
So please don't get confused
If your understanding of the term
Was just like mine
I thought "to pull the wool over someone's eyes"
Were the eyes of the woolly ovine
I thought this terminology
Was clever and quite cool
It seemed very logical
As the sheep supplies the wool
You have to pull the jumper on
(One you may despise)
And at some point of doing this
It will cover both your eyes
So it seems quite reasonable
Without investigating too deep
This explains the phrase
It started with a sheep
Some others beg to differ
And say it isn't so
They say it came from woollen wigs
Worn by judges years ago
It was from the early 16th century
Up to the present day
It seems like these ridiculous wigs
Are here to stay
Judges could not trust deceitful lawyers
Who often told them lies
Along with other unlawful people
Who tried to pull the wool
Over the judge's eyes
The judge's wig was made of wool
The wool comes from a sheep
The wig sometimes slipped
Over the judge's eyes
So he could only peep
He could not see things clearly
This was what the lawyers' hoped
It would cost the lawyers' dearly
Knowing they had stretched the truth
They should all have known better
Most judges are super sleuths
I don't know the answer
Or the reason why
These phrases come into being
So I close this with a sigh
Not one of resignation
Or even relief
A sigh of contentment
I'll keep to my belief
I'm a romantic
Who doesn't want to delve too deep
The phrase "To pull the wool over someone's eyes"
Will always be the sheep's

Politicians In War

The completion is high
The verdict is near
The pot is stirring.

Voters are waiting
The devil is laughing
Hilary is pocketing.

Detectives are investigating
Reporters are recording
No one is listening.

Trump is denying
Races are dividing
America is crumbling.

Obama you need to start caring
Things need to start changing
This election is deceiving.

Everyone is fearing
This is not the time for discriminating
To much hating, racism is increasing.

People are dying
AMERICA
Look your nation is falling.

Politicians are conflicting
There speeches are disturbing
Their words are upsetting.

AMERICA you need delivering
Make time for praying
Everyone needs saving.

The world is watching
Its time for uniting
AMERICA.

These politicians are nerve wrecking
They are destroying
Wake up and start protesting.

AMERICA

This not the time for sleeping
Your city is uprooting
Remember your teachings.

United we stand
Divided we fall.
