Be the Hero Or Heroine of Your Life

BE YOUR HERO OR HEROINE OF YOUR LIFE

Be the hero or heroine of your life, what is stopping you from being proud of yourself?
First you need to love yourself, no I mean really love yourself!
Does that sound crazy? Who loves themselves? The people who are proud! The people who use
their imagination, set themselves a goal on something they would love to achieve, put a
100% into it and never give up until they have reached that goal! These are the people who
succeed in life, the ones who have faith in themselves!.
Those who act on positive thoughts are sending out and receiving back positive
vibrations’, attracting all their desires. In exactly the same way, those thinking in a
negative frame of mind are attracting negativity towards them.
Does that ring home true to you? Look back at your life and remember when you were feeling
great, one great thing after the other, on an upward spiral, and then BOOM! Something
happens that slaps you in the face and down you go, negativity say hello!
You, me, everyone, we are all the same, we all have the power in us to reach our goals,
live our dreams, it all depends in which frame of mind we choose to be in, and to believe
in ourselves.
You see, life is all about choices, all we have to do is to make that choice, act upon
great thoughts, not to fall down when things go wrong, after all, as Mickey Rooney once
said, “You always pass failure on the way to success!
Be the hero or Heroine of your life, be Proud!

                                                                              Simone Segal

Respect & Consideration

Would you do something if you knew it hurts another?,
and try to keep this thing under cover.
Why would someone not have little consideration?,
let's think about this and look for an explaination.
Does it matter if I make a person upset?,
why don't we all show people some respect?
If I step on your toes, what should I say?,
"hello, good morning, or have a nice day".
Should we as people do things and not really care?,
have we become a society that isolates feelings never
to share, or cover up all feelings and bury them somewhere?
Never having fun, loving, or trying to communicate,
I ask you, "is it too late"?
Or is it because I'm straight?,
maybe it's because we've been taught to hate.
There's no love that comes from within,
we've come to love only our kin.
We are always looking for another person's fault,
then we justify when we get caught.
We spend so much time focusing on others wrong,
and we never take time to focus on our own.
I'll be the first one to admit,
when things don't go our way we have a fit.
All we do is just speak our mind,
never trying to be a little more kind.
If we could figure out our fellow man,
there would be no problem to understand.
Everyone has different thoughts, feelings, and emotions,
no one knows anothers will, needs, or devotions.
We can only ask how they feel,
and try not to bruise their heel.
 Some have very low self-esteems,
and are hurt by certain things.
these are hard facts no what it seems.
So in closing my sisters and brothers,
show and have some respect & consideration
for the space of others.

The Chain of Envy

-Greatness inspires envy, envy engenders spite, spite spawns lies.-

I know what it is:People these days hate to see you doin better than them.

I wear the prospect of being the best around my neck like a gem.

They don't want you to be happy, that kills them. But when you're down and out they smile.

Misery loves company, I've been seeing examples of that for a while.

They would rather see your casket being driven by four horses.

Then to look in your driveway and see 2 clean Porches.

I wouldn't want people to envy me, just understand I work hard.

Thats why I don't steal or rob because that makes me look retarded.

You never know what people go through to get where they are at.

If you pay attention to the rich and famous, the price of fame has a catch.

So what do they do to dehumanize our souls and send them to the skies?

They go inside their mind's labs and start cooking up good lies.

They don't have what it takes to take what you have and cherish.

Knowin deep down if they tried, they shall forever perish.

It's all gravy, but it aint sweet, I love the brutal competition.

Me, standing above all, respected by all man, is my life's premonition.

I buy clothes at darn near every opportuniy, because a few years ago its something i never
had

If you feel I'm rubbing it in your face by being fresh...too bad.

Where do we go from here? Back to the homeland can it really be?

I barely like being around people becuz it brings the chain of envy.

Ordinary People (© Confrontation Set Volume 1/Albert Reed 2007)

I’ve been up and I’ve been down.
I’ve been strung out in the gutter somehow.
I’ve been hungry and yes I have eaten.
I’ve been rich and I’ve been poor.
I’ve been married and I’ve been single.

   Everyday People Common People:

I’ve been saved and I’ve been backslidden.
I’ve been healed and I’ve been bedridden.
I have loved and I have hated.
I have gone too fast and I have waited.
I have talked and I have listened.
I have been anti-social and I did mingle.

   Regular People Everyday People:

I have been cool headed and I have gone off:
I did and didn’t cover my mouth when I coughed.
I’ve been the life of the party and I have been
  the black sheep.
I’ve been bold and I have been afraid shielding my
  head when I sleep.
I’ve been disrespectful, respectful and respected.
I’ve been thrown to the curb and rejected.
I’ve been happy and I’ve been sad.
I’ve been bad and I’ve been good.
I’ve been content and I’ve been mad.
I’ve come to realize all the time God is good.

Imagine

Imagine we all had our own
little world to go into
Where lies aren't as loud, the
truth isn't as quiet, and where
we can forget all the pain we've
been through.
Imagine instead of jealousy our
eyes had love to see.
Imagine we were pushed by
the affections we feel, as we
found that somebody that
defines perfection.

Ironically we fear negative
transformations generated by
love or an accurate imitation
Why must it matter so much for
us what foreign people
suppose,
When they only critique what
they lack in the most
Why when we witness a plight
we fear shadows not knowing
it'll lead us to light
Why do we surrender towards
Hate provoking us to feel little
when we should belittle those
with misconceptions propelling
our generation to believe in
broken vows.

Imagine life was really what
you want it to be
Where things and/or people
were really what they seem,
and not a bizarre image
covered by spiritual smoke
screens
Just imagine you're the mirror
to it all and they're just fearing
your success because you're
nearer to it.

In a Distance-Train Whistle Blows

As the train whistle blows
Running down the track
Softly in the distance
I hear tis sound
Ever so sweeet within my heart
Sweeetness of Love
Soon to embrace
Most Peaceful feeling
As still sounds..
Soon.. Fulfill so softly in the distance

As still hear cars about
brings me back to wondering
Do you ever wonder
how many people don't know Jesus?
Whom never heard of Christ?
Whom has not received Eternal life?

As I watch people in cars go by..
My heart wonders..
Where they be going?
When life time here.. tis gone
Whom? how many?
Time here be.. how Long???

Don't delay.. any more
if you have not yet come to Our Lord
Come receive God's Divine Love..
Through His Beautiful Son.. Jesus Christ
Come while there is still time

As the Train whistle blows..
In the distance..
beautiful sounds of Love over-flows

Train goes on down the tracks..
Ever wonder.. when's Eternity?
Where are you.. going to be??

Come to Jesus--(Jesus.. like the Train coming)
Whistling in the distances.. Train to Eternity
Come.. Before the whistle of train.. is gone

Words Left Unsaid...

Smiling to these unfamiliar faces
Never showing signs or traces
Of how she truly feels inside
The girl whose feelings she’ll always hide

Barriers she built so long ago
Have yet to be touched, for no one can know
To try and open up seems such a difficult feat
So she’ll keep her heart and mind discrete

She longs to scream and let others know
How she feels like her life has reached a plateau
She’s yearning for love, for something more
But feelings on her sleeve, she’s never wore

Vulnerability is the scariest word she could hear
For being loved and left is by far her worst fear
People come and go, but the ones who stay
Are the very ones she tries to push away

She finds comfort in being simplistic
Her views on the world are disturbingly realistic
She understands people and how they can be
So she chooses to live her life privately

Regardless of emotions she chooses to show
And through her actions and motives people try to construe
Yet, when night falls and she rests her head
She doesn’t long for the world, just for words left unsaid

It's About Love

What a precious thing to love another
It’s a privilege to be loved by someone
    Two people interlinking as one
    His presence strengthens her heart
Her appearance gives him the power to go on
It’s so easy to display intimacy doing good times
Through opposition communication is a must
    It’s not all about you
It’s about the miracle called us
    It’s about love
It’s about the miracle called us

A sweet embrace is what you longed for
Now that you have it you didn’t realize
    what was in store
Somehow we fell to understand we must work
    to make a stand
    It’s not all about you
    It’s about us
    It’s about Love
It’s about the miracle called us

    Two people interlinking as one
It’s a privilege to be loved by someone
Through opposition communication is a must
It’s so easy to display intimacy doing good times
    It’s not all about you
    It’s about us
    It’s about Love
It’s about the miracle called us

Standing Up For Oneself

When people each have had enough of another individual's arrogance or whatever, it's time
for them to take a stand. And when it comes to these people wanting to say what;'s on his
and/or mind, then it's time for them to stand up for themselves. Everybody knows that it
beats not saying anything to one another and holding anything back. It seems that most
people are being tormented and/or bullied by others, especially when these people think
that they're way better than the rest or whatever, but they're not. That's why these
people shouldn't let the others bring them down just because they have money, cars, and/or
whatever. I'll remember that what these bad people did to the ones who are less fortunate
will happen to he others; one way or another. That's why some of us need to believe in
ourselves and stand up for ourselves, even if it will have taken us a somewhat long period
of time. Let's hope everybody gets the message.

Melting

This country began, with the melody of an orange rhythm,
Then lady liberty showed her beacon light
Giving in the twilight,
A hope for a new, beginning.
And as these people escaped
A less understanding place,
By God’s grace; we accepted them
And with this understanding came.
Eventually, a hybrid land named, America.
Turmoil of the civil war, but that soon past,
Giving a race, freedom at last.
We fight for the weak, weary and the sick,And usually win.
But one thing has always been practiced;
Uncle Sam is an activist.
With people of different walks of life;Passing in the middle of the night.
Americans, we call ourselves, and since the beginning it has been true.
That a piece of paper called The Declaration of Independence;
Was written, signed and sings true,
That certain rights are bestowed by God;
Like life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
