I Just Want To Be Me

I just want to be me
And not have to hide,
I want people to know
The true beauty inside.

I just want to be me
And touch someone’s heart,
I want people to see
That life is a gift of art.

I just want to be me
And teach others how to fly,
I want people to believe
They can really touch the sky.

I just want to be me
And live without fears,
I want people to listen
With more than just their ears.

I just want to be me
And inspire others,
I want people to respect
And love one another.

I just want to be me
And not have to hide,
I want people to bond
In peace far and wide.
