Premium Member COME WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO LIVE

we went to disneyland
and you are just transported

give me cobblestones, gas lamps and
a passive-aggressive Iron Man

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
the sign states you must be sober to ride

there is a rhino appearing to pierce the backside
of a white, moustachioed man, escaping up a tree

is it real, or is it more of the woozle fever dream
and our guide steve tells us to not panic

give me resplendence, iridescence
a fantasyland train station

kaleidoscopic and free hot chocolate
with purchased ticket

'Goofy will now light up the Christmas tree
and ensure all our wishes come true.'

i need that horse i've backed to come in,
brain tendencies and uncontrollable anger

purchase a 'non-stop 2-Day Fun Ticket'
to enter the park two days in a row

who's driving this flying umbrella?

Premium Member Once Upon a Dream

A fictional write of a loveless plight…
Once Upon a Dream
"When you're wishing upon a twinkling star
Gracious fairies gather from realms afar
Sent to mend hearts what’re broken in two
Bringing love of your loved one home to you.”
Once upon a dream a long time ago
You came into my life and charmed it so
Gently kissing my lips, you kissed my heart
Beneath glowing beams of heavenly stars.

Above the rainbow pretty bluebirds flew
In a fantasyland made just for two
A magnetic rapture of sky above
Perfectly enhancing the mood for love.

Beauty of each moment, minute and hour
Unfurled alike an exquisite flower
Till time came and spelt close of our romance
Breaking the spell that made our lives enhanced.

Bittersweet are finely tuned joys and grief
A song in my heart on constant repeat
Rhapsody that brings back both dear and sad
And movie star magic dreams we once had.

If only we could time travel aback
Capitulated to mystic comeback
Reliving memories, heaven blessed
Of golden years that were simply the best.

It's lonesome without you, to proceed on
Days are long from dawn to setting of sun
Yet no one out there my heart would embrace
Not in the universe of outer space.

I view moon and stars through mist of my tears
Wishing us back to future's tranquil sphere
Joyous together in true love light gleam
Our hearts entwined, as once upon a dream.

This is the woman who repeatedly told us for over two years Joe was as sharp and active as ever, there is no crisis at the border, Joe’s record inflation was caused by Trump, the bungled Afghanistan withdrawal was all down to Trump, Covid spread was all yep Trump, high energy and gas prices all Trump, the Hunter laptop was Russian disinformation, that they did not support defunding the police, the Jan 6 Committee was an impartial bipartisan investigation, that the DOJ and FBI’s legal campaign against Trump was not politically motivated, and on and on it goes. She was the poster girl for the Biden Ministry of Lies.

Ain’t it funny watching all the liberal media and White House staff pretend like they were all duped by a senile old fool for three and a half years. With all their access to Biden and his aides they couldn’t see what any sane person could. That’s corruption on an unprecedented scale. There’s your threat to democracy, there’s your constitutional crisis. There are many here on the Soup who believed it was all a conspiracy theory. That’s next level spectacularly dumb!

This odious woman is the latest to release a book to monetise her complicity and guilt with more gaslighting. The only reason she was chosen as press secretary was because she ticked all the right boxes with DEI. She got to lie to us every day from her pulpit because Democrats value DEI and virtue signalling over ability and integrity. Thus being a black immigrant gay woman was her ticket to the top job. In the real world most of us have to earn our way. Not so in the fantasyland liberals live in. Get your heads out of your ar-se, America.

Can’t wait to see who the next lying bottom feeder is to write a book.

Absolutely loved old Mickey Mouse
My all-time favourite character
No matter what my age is chronologically
Can't wait to crank up the projector

As he carouses round the celluloid screen
Fills my heart with great happiness
His squeaky voice rings out loud and clear
Always creating such rowdiness

Remember the Wonderful World of Disney
One in four was from Fantasyland
Of course, I enjoyed the other three weeks
But adored Mickey and his band

Life was filled with joy back then
Hoped we'd stay kids forever
Thoughts of getting old sometime in the future
Occurred to us almost never

Mickey and his band kept us chuckling all day
No worries, the world was in rhyme
Never concerned what the future had in store
Only fun till beddy-byes time

I Wonder What's On Cloud 9

The premise behind this poem, What does cloud 9 mean?
A state of bliss, elation or happiness
cloud nine (uncountable) (idiomatic) Often in the phrase on cloud nine: a state of bliss, elation or happiness. quotations ? He was on cloud nine for days after she agreed to marry him.

I wonder whats on cloud nine

I wonder what its like up on cloud nine,
Would the weather up there be fine,
Would the storm in my head clear,
Would it free me of all my anxiety and fear,

I wonder what it would be like up on cloud nine,
Would it just cross over country borderlines,
Or would it take me up into the sky,
Would it take me to a city in clouds up high

A city ive only ever imagine in your minds eye,
A place of peace a place where life is beautified
That's free of impurities and the evils of our world,
A place I could only dream of, I guess it is a Dreamworld,

Oh how I wonder what it would be like on cloud nine
Would the weather up there be fine,
Would the storm in my head clear,
Would it free me of all my anxiety and fear,

Premium Member In Our World

What is it about us and our kind
Quietly sitting there
Not calling out the bullies
The liars the cheats the fake
Taking it passively from that
Whole class of degenerates

We’re just interested in being happy
In our little world of art and whimsy
We don’t have it in us to push back
Be it thick-skinned politeness or
Delusional optimism on our part

Is it anything less than our way
Of nodding sheepishly heads in approval
Not daring to retaliate and take a stand
For fear of speaking out of turn

Is it just our way of perpetuating
The bloodline of victims
Of pushovers and doormats
For fear of getting involved
Wallflowers not wanting to stir the pot

We want to carry on in fantasyland
Where lighthearted our type treads
Believing life can and should be fair
With everyone wanting to live in harmony
In our little world everyone gets along
