Premium Member One dumb mistake

Marijuana from a farm in Oklahoma
Chemicals added that could put you in a coma
Grown by a Chinese Mafia, on American land
They don't care if you die by their hand.

Marijuana from a Siskiyou County farm
Once few sheriffs were needed, such little harm
Now the Hmong come in, want locals out
More trouble that your marijuana is about.

(Chorus)
Just one dumb mistake
It seems so unfair
They don’t like you
And they don’t care
Was this hit your last stand?
Will it take you to the promised land?
If you believe, you can say a prayer
But they don't like you and they don’t care.

Ghouls add fentanyl, then laugh at your last high
Some add nitazenes, trace amounts can make you die
It’s your body, your choice, but the rule is cruel
You could pay with your life for their pocketful.

Maybe you don't like yourself
Maybe that's why
But whatever damage to your health
The poisoners won't cry.

The U.S., even China, will ban a pesticide
But take the weed, and on your body it is applied
Workers are treated harshly on these marijuana farms
Shouldn't that raise some alarms?

You say you're against global warming, well, growers use power
They steal electricity, while neighbors cower.
Mafias branch out, find other crimes to do
Please care about the USA, if you don't care about you.

Even the politicians who say 'legalize'
have suspect motives, it's you they despise
Legal pot actually is a cover for what these growers do
The whole scene is a shame, are you ashamed of you?

The Astute and the Dumb

The astute and the dumb are
found on this road we traverse;
the one with goals to set, the other
with no character, interest or talent...
can both coexsist and not clash?
Which one of these two individuals
can survive a biological warfare
without discipline and knowledge?
Most certainly, the one has studied
the activities of the superior minds
that somehow seem invincible to
whatever they encounter on the
battlefield or in the menacing air.
This is not a war between two
mythical gods, Jupiter and Saturn;
who took the side of the courageous
Titans? Today, nobody is immune to
such an Apocalypse event, it may partly
or entirely destroy our unique planet
on any erratic, or maddened moment.
Let the mindful guide the careless
and diverge them from their dramatic fate.
If History is a testament of lies and truth,
can it be meditated by some who are
about to repeat the mistakes of the fools?
The astute will prevail in any given
circumstance, the dumb will be subdued
for his ignorance and imprudence.

Premium Member Holly Days

I’m spending the Christmas holiday with Lisa and her family in NYC.

My parents are finishing 2021 in Africa, with “Doctors Without Borders.” “Step” (my step father) is a heart surgeon and my mom is an anesthesiologist, so they’re a traveling, self contained, double-dutch, operating theater. Yep, now that they’ve shuffled-off the dead weight of their children - they can finally have some FUN.

Here, in NYC we’re back in restrictive spaces as we face-down Omicron this holiday - but I still feel free. Our course work’s been dumb, but now we’ve escaped the strangling, slavery of tedious days - forget hours of reading, fact-sheets, writing essays, and solving chemistry equations - we’ve got 25 days of Christmas vacation!

Lisa’s having a sleepover tonight, friends Will and Karen are coming up (Lisa lives on the 50th floor, they live on the 46th) and we have every distraction known to man.

Tonight was supposed to be the building (220) Christmas party - a formal wear Christmas ball - with a live orchestra - but now (thanks Omicron) it’s an elevator party - we’ll go up to the 70th floor, pick up goodie bags and dinners then return yo-yo like, to Lisa’s.

We can escape our interior habitat to a large balcony where it’s windy and 34 degrees. The sky is a clear black, like an inverted cup of coffee and the stars look French. The city lights dazzle like a billion stars surrounding the black hole of Central Park.

Lisa’s dad is explaining to Karen (10), in some detail, how his shiny, deluxe, outdoor barbeque - with it’s lid open like a radar dish, can detect reindeer and send updates to his phone in real-time - but Karen looks skeptical.

I hope you all have a wonderful, safe, Christmas and that the reindeer find you wherever you are.

This conundrum

Struggling everyday
swearin' Ima change my ways
shaking my head
 at the promises made
Almost believing the BS I say
So tired of this game we play
Wondering if I'm already insane
Chasin that rush
From the drugs in my veins
Disappointed everytime
Kuz the shtts js not the same
It's a fckng shame
Legit waiting for the day
I can js fade away
Starting to feel like my souls
Ona nonstop train
Speeding right into the fiery flames
of my self created hell
& im the only one to blame
So who am I to complain?
Keep going back to that fck it level
Never believed I was anything special
An outcast ever since I can remember
Cant ever hide my exploding anger & temper
From all the past traumas
Kuz I'ma shtty pretender
But deep down inside all I ever wanted
was to feel love and acceptance
Didn't even realize I was js co dependant
Feeling more than pathetic
This shtt is so relentless
I swear ima prank show contestant
Waiting for the punch line
 that never seems to come
Sick and tired of feeling so damn dumb
Wishing and hoping that I'll finally succumb
But instead I js keep trying to get and stay numb
It's a fcking conundrum
Ahhh ..ya know what??
I'm done

Grifter

Grifter (inspired by Seth Art Carrillo)

Grifter was what someone told me...I reckon it was on a ridiculously stupid app...and a friend of mine told me about it, laughing while he says it...while I silently throw a tantrum...here the pounding of my drums of defeat...covered in corruption's cum...that drips against my fatigued feet right on frivolous beat
Right on...I'm a fraud that's freakin' frightening...I get it! I trust no one...
Isolated in my room of my own thundering, lightning thots... Sham shame embraced thee! Imagining my fiction becoming a reality...now, that's fantastically freaky
Favoring the good side of life...I'm a foolish, wise man in the brink of utter ruin...my blameworthiness is brewin' from deep within...scrambling in my feeling of unfeeling hurt...I hurt like a expert athlete and the pain is real and oh so neat - cover the wounds of my torn-up body with a white, linen sheet...let it bleed through, for I'm a sea blue
Tranquility never came into my hands of chaotic pleasure beyond measure...the Walking Dead has risen from the graves of glamorous decrepitness and bloody insanity...shame on you for making me live life without any worries, because there were so much to worry about in the first place...bombs that are set off right before my eyes makes me wanna bike ride through these up and down roads...overwhelmed with loads of fear that makes me shed this sorrowful tear...sheer cheer surrounds me, for I was a temporary hero, but it was all in my visions, my dreams of past ambitions due to dumb decisions and unaccomplished missions
Elevated by the fact that lovers of love equals the haters of hate...haters are losers and lovers are winners - so, don't play the blame game, for shame has came into my cranium of numbness and dumbness, sticking in my tissues of distress in progress
Rage typed into words of want...I need love and I want your XOXO's...blanket me with your bliss, not your hopelessness...friends come and go, I lost their phone numbers tho...but I don't mind being alone with me, myself and I...for I'm stronger than I realize, I'm not alone and I'm not a failure

Have you seen what the hens and chicks have added? She asked me.
I had no idea, but I was going to be going to the succulent forest for tea.
When I arrived, I was amazed at what I found.
A mommy duck and her two ducklings swimming around.

Where did they come from? I asked the forest, but the wind laughed.
I want some too, I said to them. All I have is a stubborn giraffe!
The wind would not tell me, and the oak trees were numb.
The hens and the chicks pretended to be deaf and dumb.

Come on! I implored them. Please let me know where to find.
My own mommy duck, please have mercy; be kind.
We had her flown in from Iowa, they told me. it’s winter up there.
I asked them for the address, and boy did those hens and chicks stare.

You cannot say where you got it, they warned me with scorn.
Those farmers are tough in the land of the soybeans and corn.
They struck a hard bargain too, but I got rid of the giraffe.
So, in a way I got the very last laugh.

Hierophant, Hectare

Square a hectare, hierophant.
Religious mysteries!
In the attic looking gaunt!
Winter, thy deep freeze!

What to fill, my sacred space?
Buy a boulder big!
Smash in every foe-man's face!
Then begin to dig!

Tunnel subterranean?
What could have dug you?
Immemorial brain, thy span!
Many, become few...

Mounds space? O giant grave.
Etheric thy form!
Dial it in with color! Cave;
Corpses to keep warm!

Swarm, my wasps! O hornets, sting!
That will make them sing!
From the druid's tree to swing!
Flicker as you fling!

Serpent, in the autumn.
Is this the time to mate?
Reality, how you hum!
Thrum a-dumb, O fate!

Rasp in vicious voices?
They're circling in a cone.
Blight and bane, thy choices!
Break them at the bone!

Hope, flown? Grin? Groan? So!
Even flow, need a tow?
Caw above me, carrion crow!
Dapple, O my roe...

Imagine trusting a man who left his wife for you

You must be dumb
The understanding of this truth will make you numb
Imagine trusting a man who left his wife for you

Looking at your body
He gets motivated
Looking at his life
He is frustrated
The need for excitement brings deceit
Soon his marriage faces defeat
For women, loneliness is often the case
Then she embraces another man
This was never part of the plan
But in reality, lust becomes the driving force

Imagine trusting a man who left his wife for you
Often we learn too late
This might be up for debate
But in reality, this happens all too often

How Is It Possible?

I want to see him as someone who did me wrong... in order to let him go. I want to no longer love him at all and just see his true colours as brightly as they show. Put up a wall, draw a line in the sand. Let go of his hand. And see him for who he is, now that I know.

For some reason I still feel like he is in there. I feel like he is just lost. How could I have thought that he was more than just a season… and not just a stumbling block. Another lesson to add to the past mistakes I thought had locked... locked away. Never to be looked at again…

I find myself still wanting to be there. Help him deal with all that I know he now feels. In my absence… his loss… How is it that I still care? That he still consumes my air? How is it possible? How did I get here? Why did I hang on for so long? Pretend to be strong?

Why can’t I be angry? Why do I want to reason? Am I crazy? I would not allow nor condone this kind of behaviour from anyone. And yet I’m worried that he is alone, when I should just be done.

He is like a parasite in my heart. Sucking out every ounce of love I have… and he is not even anywhere near me. How is it possible? How is it that I have given over so much power? When did this happen? When did I cower? Am I clinically insane, I have to be. How is it possible that this could be me? I feel so lame, lame as in my body is numb... lame as in how could I have been so dumb?

Blind to what was as clear as day, deaf to the words that continued to drum. Getting Louder and Louder from all sides. No matter how much I tried to hide, or run from… the words which echoed everywhere and anywhere trying to find me. Shouting at me so loudly. Knocking at my knees, allowing me to weaken, slowing me down and forcing me to crumble to the ground.

Stopping me in my tracks. Stopping me by showing me all the cracks… in a perfectly crafted, weaved web of lies. Forcing me to look it in the eyes… forcing me to stop.

Stop. Drop. And roll. Acknowledge the flames setting fire to my soul. Siren’s blaring… fires blazing… forcing me to let go. Now that I know. Now that I see. How is it possible for there to still be love left in me?

Premium Member My Other World

I don't know what I am supposed to write
But I'll write something
Do you know if you are in love?
No my friend
You'd never know if you are in love
Only know if you are not in love
Why don't you know if you are in love?
Because for one, you'd go crazy
act crazy, think crazy
Unless you are all that
Then it's too late for you
You'd be crazy
Why don't I know if I am in love?
Is it because
1) I 'd never know what love is and have not experienced it
2) I've been through it before and don't want to experience again
3) I am in denial
Lol whatever the case I don't want to know it
It wants it hit me like a ton of bricks
Sweep me like torrential rain
And slide me off to an unknown sphere
Where I don't know, don't feel
And just do
Is it too much to ask?
Probably as you know
You are going to feel it
experience it, taste it
It's in you
part of you
It's the weirdest feeling
strangest sensation
make you do dumb things
think some off the wall thoughts
Be as exceptionally kind
All for what - for that one person
Ahh he doesn't deserve it
Does he?
You think so
For what?
You haven't figured out yet
But yeah you know
Or do you?
I can just see him
like he is in front of me
in the rapture of my mind
You - why did you take so long?
For you to suddenly be here
Am ready for you
My other world
