Six feet below
That is where I go
To spend forever,
Some souls come and some souls go
But I will rather home it here,
Far away from humans inhumanity
Far from chicanery
Of a world gone mockery,
I thought it would be long
But after the bang
It was just so simple,
From the gun, a bullet just single
Splattered the juice grisly,
And the gape red and livid
Made a clean breast.
The place of burial
The sweetest place to be
No sweetest place like this,
With a practiced ease
The priest glasses on the nose
Read the requiem,
A little prayer, and a little hymn
And the body lay in sweet repose,
Truth, the day of death
Better than the day of birth,
And my wife Elizabeth
Her eyes fixed on my casket,
Thinking maybe be if she was responsible,
I presumed she would get married
As soon as possible,
And my son; sweet and sad
But never so sweet to stop his dad.
I thought it would be long
But after the bang
It was just so simple,
From the gun; a bullet just single
Splattered the juice grisly,
And the gape red and livid
Made a clean breast.
The place of burial
All of the wealth and money,
Couldn’t buy a peace like this
And all the drugs, and all the fame;
Could not make same
Like a rolling mass of water,
Life comes to naught;
I will rather not go higher
But sun down; it is just cozier,
As the body goes on the descent
I remembered the gun that lay implicated;
Besides the bloodied head that lay nascent,
And the eyes that opened supplicated,
As everyone threw the dust to dust;
And departed,
Never a backward glance,
I waved and looked around askance,
Masses of tombstones spread like malignant cancer,
And a gang of royal busts;
Nestling among flourishing roses and sure cedars,
And here is welcome to forever!
Chorused some new friends that smile,
For this is your place of burial.
" I Heard Him Call "
I need to let you know
that I am ok
I know that for you
this is a sad day.
I have left life on earth
for eternity
I am on the golden path
god laid for me.
He was calling for me
I Heard Him Call
I am hurting too
as I had to leave it all.
I could not have stayed
even one more day
I give you all my love
in every possible way.
Too many undone things
now must stay that way
god called and wanted me
on this particular day.
I had to leave you
and now wonder why
god would take me away
and leave you to cry.
I will forever remember
your sweet kiss
those sweet lips
is what I now miss.
Our hearts are both full
of empty sorrow
we will unite again
forever tomorrow.
Within your heart
is all of me
I will wait for you
for eternity...

Quote: Life Is Poetry In Motion, Great Poets Reflect Emotion...
Death that took Jude had no ears
Had no eyes, had no heart
Could not hear a mother’s cry
Could not see a sister’s tears
Could not feel a father’s pain
Death that took Jude had no heart,
Was so cold, was so cruel
Came around took Jude away
Mum in anguish prayed for Jude
Sister cried and held his hand
Jude was twelve, his heart was strong
He had a brain ten times his age
Jude smiled here and helped out there
His ways did earn him all our loves
So earth herself a-weeping went
When O some man in silly haste
Crushed his bones O tore his skin
And there the road was red with blood
Now Jude is gone, sweet Jude is gone
Gone with his smiles that lit our hearts
Jude is gone, sweet Jude is gone
Sweet Jude we loved, sweet Jude is gone!
