Words flow like liquid starlight,
Spilling from quill to parchment,
Each letter is a paper boat
Sailing on a river of ink.

Thoughts, fragile vessels,
Laden with whispers and dreams,
Navigate the currents of time,
Seeking a distant shore.

Pages rustle like autumn leaves,
Their edges kissed by candlelight,
As emotions, once formless mist,
Crystallise into tangible script.

The reader unfolds each missive,
A cartographer of the heart,
Mapping the contours of love
With every carefully crafted line.

Their correspondence, a tapestry,
Woven with threads of longing,
Each sentence is a brushstroke
Painting souls in vivid hues.

Years pass, a relentless tide,
Yet these paper boats endure,
For love letters, once sealed,
Become time capsules of the heart.

And in the silence between words,
Where meaning transcends language,
Love echoes eternally,
An unspoken poem written in stars.

Premium Member Thunderous Silence

Ebony and ivory soldiers
stand sentinel on checkered plains,
their shadows stretching across the polished wood.

The mind becomes a blade,
thoughts crystallise
in the space between heartbeats.

Each move echoes
like thunder in an empty room,
while fingertips hover over destiny's pieces.

Time dissolves
In the crucible of concentration,
where seconds stretch into infinities.

Silence roars louder,
than any crowd in this arena of intellect,
as kingdoms rise and fall beneath fluorescent stars.

Victory dwells
in the eye of stillness,
where warriors of thought wage their bloodless wars.

impressions crystallise, shaped as our words
expressions we realise, mere symbols feeble
prayerful heart, by touch going deep inwards
delineates ineffable emotions through parables

each life sensation both immediate and intimate
enlivened in loving hues by our radiant heart
presence flutters, to subtle joy tremors gyrates
invisible flickers signal when bliss ignition starts

there is no way to freeze the frame of life vibrant
thus we attempt not, our soul in the void release
softening attention, to nuances of silence sentient
affirming as we please, like a gently flowing breeze

we are here but wish to be elsewhere
not in space but in orientation
as presence self-aware
vibrant in the void of cessation

what we seek is in timeless time received
though intent takes time to crystallise
so with wayward ego aggrieved
we resist magnetism that seeks to rise

we wished to know the truth so were shown
eternal light beyond space and time
but one with oneness we are alone
whilst on earth we dance to bliss beat’s chime

the flavour of our muse we ourselves choose
but descent does involve separation
so oh hermit let love ooze
that each breath intake is a celebration
