Soul

"Soul"

In the place
where there was a gap
between the pines,
a war game went wrong.

they say,
the satellites
set it off, the intelligence
was corrupt,

putting golf balls,
off planet.
the wrong time
the wrong hole.

trigger finger
took out another soul;
all over a small island
like coverts, take out a child;

everyone called in,
a free fight for all
flying monkeys fever pitch
there goes your world.

triage
didn’t help at all.
the mother load
of shrapnel

the sitting
helpless,
watching all
the satellites,

flimsy debris
like dominoes
all fall.
in the dark times,

anxiety
won
over
appalled.

trigger finger
took out another soul;
all over a small island
like coverts take out a child,

everyone called in,
a free fight for all
flying monkeys fever pitch
there goes your world.

Musings Of The Bereft

Musings of The Bereft

Bravery that shocks one into affirmative action
Averies filled with exotic bird life and the next commercialised attraction
Slavery that is out of plain sight as it coverts and hides amidst distraction
Unsavoury seconds of insight that convert knowledge into abstraction

Consequential propositions from behind a political scene
Sequential premonitions that define what we all mean
Existential inhibitions that decentralise and demean
Quintessential inquisitions that refine what we dare to dream

Meandering manifestations of glory, grace, virtue and love
Mastering illuminations that tell the narrative from above
Manufacturing mechanisations as we look for peace signs from a dove
Unflattering weopanisations of war when push comes to shove

Conversational dialogue between two enemies of different tongues
Adaptational epilogues from scientists surveying the sun
Observational analogies from commentators only in it just for the fun
Revelational catalogues elevated from the philosophical run

Abstract terminology that both enlightens and confounds
Detract cosmologically as the wisdom morphs into the profound
Enact ideology as we grow each seedling from the ground
Protract high technology as we indoctrinate the sounds

Reminiscent nostalgia at the forming of a retrospective thought
Luminescent emotion filled with awe & wonder to the point of becoming distraught
Incandescent shades of melancholy ponder on what parts of the soul that can be bought
Convalescent tones of introspect that are hard won and fought

Rising interludes of consideration as we look toward the twighlight sky
Hiding magnitudes of commiseration as we take a moment to quietly cry
Shining latitudes of pure sensation as the tears well in my eyes
Miming platitudes of intonations that can only ask the question why?

The earth and sky

The sunbeams break through the canopy high,Through a grand old oak, beneath a blue sky.Its branches, like arms, hold a silent prayer,

As warmth and light fill the quiet air. The beauty is mirrored, a sight so true,Like God’s own light, shining down on you.High above the leaves, on a steady breeze,A eagle rises with effortless ease.

It soars on wings of silver and black,With a vast, bright world along its track.Nature whispers a story of grace,And fills with peace this wonderful place.

At the Foot of the tall oak tree, moss coverts the earth floor like a blanket, soft like the clouds in the sky, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, squirreling about seeking food, pine cones, sure to to be a delight.

As the lone eagle soars high above, below it seas rolling hills full of wild flowers a rainbow of colors, honey bees sucking up their nectur to spread all around.

The suns rays cascading all around, baptizing all who are seeking its delight below, Gods HOLY Spirit filling everyone’s souls with light of Faith and Hope.

Indian Pitta

White Supercilium, black face mask,
White collar,
Dark buff head with Black central stripe,
Dark gray stout bill,
Gray eye-ring with white awake – eyeliner,
Buff crowned,
Glossy blue, dark green, Turquoise-Blue,
Shocking white wing-coverts,
Thin black trace, garish scarlet Underbelly,
Black blue-tipped tail,
Toned, endless, enviable strong pins
pink

Divine ensemble apt for
Wallpapers, earrings, motifs, art, stamps and study

They sit shy, inconspicuous, in
Leftover dense forest
Mad for being naive in
Sartorial world, they keep
Picking up worms under leaf-litter
On forest floor, autumn always

Secretive Monomorphics
Complain to Sun
Once at dawn, once at dusk,
risks
To migrate preferably at night
Opulent pair dances to mate
Nests to breed, care their chicks,
Teach their fledglings to hide and play
Along predators’ plenty,
Teach their fledglings along
Stressful achromatic life,
to fly away
