Premium Member Kernels of Success

I cast these concepts
I cast these kernels
Kernels in my hand
Kernels in the clay
Clay of loam
Clay of words
Words to describe
Words packed
Packed with exegesis
Packed with strength
Strength of scavenging
Strength of crowd
Crowd of swarms
Crowd of staleness
Staleness with enthusiasm
Staleness with bluntness
Bluntness of prediction
Bluntness of demeanor
Demeanor with smile
Demeanor of delight
Delight in adventure
Delight of writing
Writing of nursery stories
Writing of poetry
Poetry from heart
Poetry for show
Show of pride
Show of faith
Faith in progression
Faith in aestheticism
Aestheticism in connoisseurship
Aestheticism of spirit
Spirit to convince
Spirit with zoanthropy
Zoanthropy from hysteria
Zoanthropy of diabolical
Diabolical in a cave
Diabolical of power
Power to rule
Power to deceive
Deceive with attempt
Deceive to mislead
Mislead unfair impression
Mislead into thinking
Thinking about calm
Thinking about success
Success isn't happiness
Success isn't wealth
Wealth
Happiness

Premium Member Aging As a Spiritual Practice

Beautiful summer day. You know you're gonna die
that's why you know no joy
unless religion, tv, stories, sports matter.
For men like us dying's easy, it's living that's hard.
And since dying's much like living, that's hard too.
There's some contentment in letting community decide
your place in it. A good day to die, the Apaches say.

Can't stop the quince from blossoming
or my sons from smoking, speeding.
The best that can be done or said's a blessing.
Less tv, less guessing about the effects of your anger
unless you want to be an angry man forever.
Becoming knowledgeable is the best defense
against your insignificance. OK about being alone.

Alive, almost sure of it. Whether I'm a visitor
to my life or the actual owner.
Mature poets steal, most are masturbators.
There are a million poets, I'm poet #500K.
Plenty of mysteries, infinite philosophies,
prayers, laws and unwritten rules.
That's why we go to school, life's complicated.

All I do not know: ATP, probabilities,
the glorious revolution, meiosis and mitosis
and all I'll never see, the bottom of the ocean,
the palm at the end of the mind, a wolverine.
Forget-me-not, is that all I want?
To get lucky, you gotta be careful first.
To be great, you gotta be willing to sound BAD.

In last night’s movie, a young writer
and an older, married with children French woman
fall in love. They did not meet during a village massacre
and money is no object, Manhattan.
But after everything has happened
she cannot leave her children, not even for love,
because of love, the love that brooks no serendipity.

In the subsequent late night movie, a wealthy
altruistic doctor arranges for the murder
of his neurotic concubine. His guilt
provides us with an opportunity to consider
the concepts of faith and forgiveness,
that all will be well in the end
after a period of meaningless suffering.

Premium Member My God, Thank You For Prospering Me

April 5 Scripture Meditations Based on 2Chronicles 26-29

Key Verse – 2Chronicles 26:5 And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR PROSPERING ME

Thank You for prospering me when I seek You and Your presence
Making my faith alive midst miracle-license
To help me to do Your will despite slothfulness-prevalence
So I will not sulk in bitterness’ silence.

Thank You for prospering me when I rely on You and on Your power
Making my testimony shine midst unrighteousness-tower
To urge me to live in Your ways despite evil-sower
So I will not play with holy pursuits’ blower.

Thank You for prospering me when I trust You and Your provision
Making my prayerfulness strong midst discouraging situation
To prod me to believe Your Word despite perversion
So I will not depart from Bible’s instruction.

Thank You for prospering me when I obey You and Your precepts
Making my conviction steadfast midst worldliness’ concepts
To uphold me to support Your work despite selfishness that intercepts
So I will not compromise with atheistic doctrine that an unbeliever accepts.

Thank You for prospering me when I rest in You and in Your peacefulness
Making my spirit revived midst soul’s calmness
To move me to learn from Your wisdom despite ignorance-propped deceitfulness
So I will not fall into the pit of vain foolishness.

Thank You for prospering me when I stay in You and in Your purity
Making my heart sanctified midst filthiness’ infirmity
To enable me to abide in Your fellowship’s warmth despite coldness-tranquility
So I will not flirt with alluring iniquity.

Logical Nonsense

The logical possibility to jump over the moon,
make sense when considered its cheese eaten with a spoon.
The same cheese became famous by Mozart composing Cinderella,
melted in on bread called Mozzarella.
The milks fat has its meaning by matter of form,
as one can pull it gently in its use to be torn.
The essence of man by Plato is conceptual confusion,
Aristotle’s answer was the rational animal conclusion.
The death is one of two things and metaphysical,
hypothetic nature in grammarless forms of being radical.
Abstract concepts to the point of phrase,
indefinable logic to stay confused in philosophical pace.
Nothing divided by nothing to multiply the zero,
trading and selling golden mirrors portraying the hero.
The hypnotic ability of linear verbal communication,
overwritten melodrama and its cultured sensation.
Caffeine clicking clocks in commercial wars,
to safe the astounding audience aspiration from taws.
Intensified intuitive balloons matching the color of the eye,
illustrative animated slices with the cherry on top pie.
Vulnerable velocity by vanity loosing lips largely,
absurdity with distinction established ambiguity fiercely.
Falsity and truth before sense and nonsense,
thinking one knows what is not known in essence.
Philosophical poetry may be with or without rhyme,
but it is never without reasons of confession in time.

World War 3, if such a war would happen,
will probably not be what we expect.
A war is being waged right now, and yet,
by many, it is not even suspect.

A Trojan horse I’d say that it resembles.
It looks so nice that it’s got good folks fooled.
While those aware of it spill wisdom’s words,
their thoughts are disbelieved. They’re ridiculed.

The kids in schools in nearly all the world
are being taught new ways. These ways seem sweet.
They cancel culture, rewrite history,
and do not care for concepts like “compete.”

They put their propaganda on the news,
on the internet, and in the movies too.
They’d have us all live in a New World Order
where things against our will we’d be forced to do.

They have a goal to make us all be cashless,
dependent on them – freedoms stripped away.
It’s not a war with bombing or live combat.
They want us under their deceptive sway.

This “war” we’re part of has been planned for years,
and in my country, China has been taking
our land and money. Communism’s creeping.
Alas, we’ll fall unless all start awaking!

Onerous Task Confronts Teachers and Parents Part Two

Concomitant to foster
misgivings of wretchedness,
I harbor jealousy at young whip smart kids,
who already possess laudatory command

concerning salient technological knowhow,
far beyond paternal parental stage
yet speculate how child raising
could allow, enable and provide
insight into latest cutting edge binary wizardry.

Less impactful upon precocious
boys and girls hungry for knowledge
includes protracted time
fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters
experienced opportunities to
relish countless hours

tutoring son(s) and/or daughter(s)
patiently mentoring progeny
about rudimentary concepts
(plus edifying offspring
about all encompassing netiquette)

aided in turn with
sophisticated computer programs
(possibly created by little Einstein)
invariably lovingly bonding (yeah right).

I'm dyin' inside
And I don't know if
I was ever alive
On these streets

It's all too much
Lookin' at myself
It's all too much
Thinkin' these thoughts

One day is a day too many
But one less day
Is one day too few
Thinkin' one day at a time

My thoughts spinnin'
Sloshing around my noggin
Scrambling my senses
Confusing my actions

Beneath a lense
I squirm and look away
But they're just eyes
Do they see me at all

It's all too much
Surrounded by people
It's all too much
Fermenting alone

But I get bored of people
When they don't understand me
So I lock them out of my mind
Speaking in a tongue they can't contemplate

The only walls surround my mind
And I can't quite articulate how tall they are
Nor can I really break through them
So I lean against them

Words spoken and mirrors broken
Shattered glass around my bare feet
Symbolizing the people I meet
I'm terrified to move and face defeat

Friendship, love, and fellowship
These concepts are foreign to me
I thought I knew but I really don't
I think I need it but don't want it

Loneliness is the oxygen I breathe
Solitary confinement the water I drink
Antisociality is the clothes on my back
Fear is the shelter I cower in

It's all too much
Thinkin' about it all
It's all too much
This ADHD me

Read - Emption

Sumptuous suggestions straddle stagnancy
Summoned by engaging pages
Susceptible skulls imbibe vibrancy
Surmounting latitude notion ravages

Authors serve smorgasbord swathes of research
Reading's pizza fuses flavours opposing
Issues investigated, valid views aptly asserted
Essays stretch perception, anomaly concepts provoking

Unfurling knowledge tunes recognition's accord
Rhizomes capacitate vertical fronds fluent
Rationale garnered from forest of topics explored
Absorbs ripened writing, reaps new nutrients

Menacing media's ocean threatens to overwhelm
Thrusting throng fish flash slippery details
Awash in momentum's musings, reader swallows foam
Deep sea dive reveals wealth of ocean's minerals

Publications polish paled perishing facets
Discernment detangles dusty brain's barren
Seeds sown with sophistication grow great in habit
Cracked codes give gregarious cerebrum companion

Our nation - at a crossroads now
With intersecting planes
Of concepts much at odds somehow -
Exacerbating strains.

The Democrats perplexities:
A "Heart without a Head"
Explains irrationalities -
(Dysfunction - simply said).

Republican proclivities:
A "Head without a Heart"
Explains their personalities -
(Flatlines on MDs charts).

Both play the same devout "blame game"
With terse polemics wrought
As zealots on both sides proclaim
Their hyperbolic thoughts.

They come and go yet most remain,
Though times change in due course,
And seem to think it's their domain -
Their livelihood resource.

And, money flows and money goes
Awash in large amounts
But how, from where, no accounts show;
Just smoke and mirrors doubts.

With most seats safely in the till
Few voters needs to heed,
Instead exert, exhort their will
On things inflating greed.

Then, how do we comport with this
Vast wasteland so immense?
We wax and wane and turn and twist -
It's our experience.
