If I could climb on top of a cloud
I’d have the world’s coziest mattress
A cumulus quilt that’s softer than down
And beneath it, a silk sheet of stratus
A nimbus puff to pillow my head
With matching lenticular duvet
And perhaps I’d get an extra set
In sunset pink and stormy gray
Some say I must surely be insane
For I’d be doomed if out of bed I fell
But in the likeliest event of rain
I’m more worried that my bed will wet itself.

A baby you left to stay
You’ve licensed to stray,
For find it shall its way
To some paradise bright or grey.
An ass you kept at bay,
No fodder on its tray,
Won’t spare you a bray:
A way of having its say.
Your stacks of green hay
You didn’t sun all day
You’ve okayed their ***** decay
And shouldn’t to this say ‘Nay’.
One with millions to pay.
In tears begins to pray:
The unlikeliest to look gay,
The likeliest to start a fray.
All these: truths you an feel their flesh
Like that of predatory thresh.

I was sick of seeing one plate, fork, and knife
And that lonely cup of drink
As if I was a piece in a painted still life
Like those dishes placed in the sink
So I clicked on a dating site as the others
Seeking a fine baby boomer
And in time chose one of the likeliest lovers
Who laughed at my sense of humor.
We emailed, and Facebooked and tweeted on Twitter
Then Skyped every single night
Though we lived far away, I knew I wouldn’t quit her
‘Til we got our liaison right.
We transmitted vows over the wireless sky
And kept each of them sweet and short
Then after being pronounced, husbandwidth and wifi
We kissed through a USB port
