Life is a flower pushing out of the ground. Longing to bloom
Inside your heart. Life is breath. Inhale it as you would a
Flower in the rush of summer. It is your life, so seize it and
Elect to treat it with respect and kindness. Love your life.

Premium MemberPoetic License

Politically correct doesn't always answer the desire of my heart. So I must
Open my mind and draw words and phrases that stir and erupt from the
Elective place of my very soul. I have heard a poet apologize for using a
Telltale word such as crap. I told her don't be sorry for using accolades that
Illuminate your angered emotions and rightful indignation. A writer needs to
Captivate his or her audience with compositions of natural vocabulary

Litigate, dispute and question the issue, for every word has its puzzle place
In the wonderful world of writers. Sometimes a poem can be wordy and
Caressing, other times it can be short blunt and to the point. Who can
Elect or disperse poetic licenses to the mass, nobody... We are,
No ones boss or slave, we are poets with a free will and a lovers heart.
Salute the other poets and say what you need to say with eccentricity
Endeavor to communicate, for you are licensed by desire, not law.

Premium MemberHappy New Year

Happy are those who have faith and believe in
All that is good. Anything can happen so
Please don't worry about tomorrows outcome
Plan your future as if it is a given and
You will get there I promise.  Have a little Faith in the Universe;
NEW
Years come and go, I know its been a hard one but if you
Elect to reject the negative thoughts of your herd, you can learn to
Appreciate the good and hang tough for the bad. Remember ,
Rise each new morning and give thanks for the day.

Tell It Like It Is

Strong member it if you can for that is what counts
spend some quiet time in reading it shall surmount
Give it balance. A good site is made up of work n' play
if not, all your good intentions may turn to hay...

Write the poems you want
Read the ones you like
Invite conversation
Tell it like it is, but be kind and do it with tact
Elect to keep silent, and don't partake in gossip

Read in the early morning or late evening
Enjoy a few poems, its other people's labor
And be kind everyone fights a battle
Don't give in to resentment its a lonely road

Strong member it if you want to belong to a site
and remember not everything is in black and white
Don't believe everything you hear psst, draw near
I want to tell you a secret, "writing is not my career "

It is my passion...
