By this cold world...
Lost like being in a cinnamon swirl
Breakfast, makes me want to...
Break fast from this life...
Life, what the fucc is lyfe for people lyke us?
Is & always be an unanswered
question...
Not to mention,
The different directions
Of my inner-beast...
Searching for something to...
Feast upon...
Up all nyte watchin'...
Cheech & Chong...
Wondering if I'm wrong?
Finding myself yearning for the past
Missing people and events of years gone by
Everything I see reminds me of a moment
Wishing to go back and relive it again.
Before my eyes pieces of life falling away
From the ones I knew and grew with to
The changing times of the day
I feel no different inside from days before
All that was familiar through each year slowly disappearing
From family to surroundings I find there’s less that I hold dear
Can’t go back and I wish I could
To every past moment, person and time
If possible I would
I guess this is what happens as time passes by
As you grow older, living forever would be a lie.
Nothing familiar here on earth
That’s why there’s heaven where you find your life’s worth
Being there, those days and people are waiting
To be enjoyed once again and that goes without saying
I do have a chance to live special moments and see those
loved and admired once again.
