Between sleep and awake I’m free
Navigation comes easy for me
Along fault lines of earthquakes I travel
With barely a ripple of gravel
Equations and troubles I conquer
My victories soar above squalor
If wakened I hasten my return
To slumber in peaceful nocturne
O.... the grandeur I reap
My magical place middle sleep

My sanity is stalked by dreams,
that catch behind my eyes
where light is scarce and I can't see
what's prophecy and lie.
The darkness comes, my heart forewarns,
through gates of Ivory and Horn

alive with empty, lightless storms.

of Gods with dripping wings
the edge of disappointment seems
to follow these twin kings.
Ere Sleep and Death make reckless flights
o'er all that lives and dies by night

race from a womb wounded by light.
My sanity is stalked by dreams
and shivers come undone
within the failing, feeble gleam-
the moon betrayed by sun.
In my nightscape all is disturbed,
the flow of life, the lilt of word
in my night-scape

the voice of doubt is all that’s heard.
He goes to the unknown with no fear
He never says out loud "I like it here"
He will sleep on the floor and even outside
He will sleep next to the ocean just watch the tide
He will never live by rules
He doesn't complain about his clothes or his shoes
He's eaten all kinds of food
He's always in a good mood
He lives by the moment
He's strong and confident
He knows what he wants to be
