The anticipation growing
awaiting the night
our third time out
this might be the time
Collaborative sessions
leaving me unsure
cautiously restrained
my feelings of lure
Thinking of you
my temptations inside
of late night illusions
distant resign
Passionate impressions
longing disillusionment
a blissful reaction
designed for illusiveness
Visited with dealings
a lustful start
saying I love you
with happiness to part
Determining my strength
when around you
the look of your beauty
is passionately true
Undeniably restricting
a completion of lust
radiating through
emotional mistrust
Thoughts of desire
lingering within
bringing tenacious inquiries
deeper into a bliss
Body and mind require
respectful compassion
between two people
if attractions can happen
With you
They say
how wonderful love is
it scents the hair, tingles warm and sensual
holds every breath in pleasurable pause,
the body blends with the soul and mind
at the slightness of its touch;
it beats the heart fast, it beats the heart slow,
it is more than we can bear
it is more than we can know;
words can not express it
poetry fails its grand illusiveness
still, we seek it out
ponder it with wonder and desire
contemplate it with jealousy and envy;
I've seen it, felt it,
shuddered at its presence
breathed in its passionate allure,
marveled at its tenacity,
wept in the possibility of its departure
wrapped myself in loss and tears of its goodbye;
how wonderful love is
do you remember it as well as I?

Your name follows me
and the ghost of your presence is haunting
The touch of your fingers is lingering
and I only want you to be
Alongside me anon.
I have no patience for you
as it’s not in my nature or soul
And yet your illusiveness takes it’s toll
Have you come to think it too
Be alongside me anon.
I’m giving in and handing out my heart
Whether it’s rejected or received is no concern
The desire gives no thought as to when it should burn
And it’s determined to tear me apart
I’m pleading for you to be alongside me anon.
