Beside midnight's minting bare branches
Dead fingered messages on bedroom pane scratches
Four awe struck teens oija board captured
Followed fast spelt results, from rock star sanctioned
Questions asserted by incredulous desires
Hoisted upturned glass drawn answers much admired
Grave lain idol caressed all the girls inquired
Decisive planchette slide surprised previous denyers
Eerie sequenced letters spelt Cobain's cause of death
Conduit confirmed it an accident, fans bereft
Of Kurt's cutting edge grunge, now Nirvana aroma left
Bygone, but through them, legend found breath

NB - Biological studies have demonstrated that the
phenomena of seemingly self driven planchettes

We've overheard some learn-ed men
dismiss as myth evil and sin.
Of Hell and grave they have no fear,
explaining all there is is here.
Yet those from ages long ago
believed that things weren’t just quite so.
Priests and seers, shamans and all
calmed many souls cursed in the Fall
with spells, charms, and often praying,
through prophecies or soothsaying.
Still every tongue that man can speak
has words that make his heart grow weak.
For modern prophet know-it-alls,
PhD’s behind ivy walls,
when they scream out, “Who’s there?” in fear,
We whisper, “Ideomotor” in their ear.

The trouble with sceptics is they boast
There is no way there can be any ghosts
They say spiritualists operate in great error
And create their own manufactured terror
Spirits can influence the inviting human mind
And have done so since Biblical times
So to comment on your theory of Ideomotor effect
Let us take time to seriously reflect
That the supernatural can affect some in a physical way
To push Ouija in what to say
Suggested thoughts enter some minds and they can hear it
They are paranormal and come from the spirit
So don't think you have it all figured out
Unexplained things happen there is no doubt
There is no logical way for you to argue
For God is supernatural too.

Ideomotor Effect
Spirits cannot share information,
Don’t be fooled by false witness.
Everyone is capable of psychic energy,
It’s just subconscious, no more no less.
Ouija is controlled by greater will,
Like a phenomenon or ideomotor effect.
Physical presence, not spiritual presence,
Stay rational follow minds context.
Sceptics develop belief through fakery,
Ghost hunters heighten reactive emotions.
Fear creates anxiety and cold terror,
Darkness perfect for conceptual notions.
Paranormal, spiritualism is big business,
Should I keep an open mind.
Show me the evidence, show me the proof,
My natural antithesis does not rewind.
