Forgiveness Season- a Blitzing Christmas

It's time for Christmas
It's time for forgiveness
Forgiveness from above
Forgiveness and love
Love and divine grace
Love from the sacred place.
Place of holy joys
Place with many toys.
Toys for a goy
Toys for my boy.
Boy of nineteen
Boy named Laurean
Laurean is a preacher
Laurean is a teacher
Teacher of Danish
Teacher of Spanish
Spanish advice
Spanish is nice
Nice is your look
Nice is your book
Book of geometry
Book of poetry
Poetry soup
Poetry group
Group of young men
Group of gentlemen
Gentlemen of style
Gentlemen sweet smile
Smile and fun
Smile and sun
Sun of July
Sun in the sky.
Sky full of stars
Sky without scars
Scars on the face
Scars like a lace.
Lace wedding gown
Lace boots in town
Town with tall towers
Town with white flowers
Flowers for my mother
Flowers from my father
Father Christmas is near
Father Christmas is here
Here is the real reason
Here is the Advent season
Season of winter holidays
Season of carols and Christmas plays
Plays...
Holidays...

No never no calls
From daughter or son
No never it seems
Nobody no way.
Daughter is plastic
And son is too old
No never, no calls,
Never, no way.
Industrial pimping
To arouse a eyebrow,
But to take a mere moment
No, never, no way.

The best thing about Father's Day.Is the
promise that he made.Just to be my dad,
and never to make me sad.To give me
all of his support., and to be a great big
sport. To pat me on the head, and to force
me to make my bed.To give me all his love.
Without no push and shove. And when the
stork showed up to deliver babies.Mom
was at your side.So thanks dad! For just
being dad! Happy Father's Day..

Father’s Day Tribute to My Grandfather

Resembling Groucho Marx as you aged,
I often found you dozing in
your favorite chair.

Perhaps, dreaming of your parents,
or when you arrived in America on Ellis Island
with your Mother and brothers?

Your tired skin was
a result of a working man’s life.

Your green tattoo on your arm
was a souvenir of your veteran status.

Always caring, you were the leader
of the team I was born into.

You protected the family psyche and integrity,
and wisely guided us with your voice of reason.

Even though you are no longer here in the physical world,
You are forever in my heart and soul.

Fathers' Day Cards

Fathers’ Day’s around the bend
And so I need a card.
With all the choices, you would think
It wouldn’t be so hard.

My dad is gone but still I buy
A greeting for my spouse.
The cards were so pathetic, though,
I really need to grouse.

The “husband” options either were
Too gushy, fake or sappy,
With poetry inside that sounded
Mawkish and plain crappy.

The “funny” cards made references
To grills or farts or sex;
It’s like the writers had
No witty brain cells they could flex.

To find a simple heartfelt card
I searched through every shelf;
It might just work out better
If I made a card myself.

Happy Fathers Day Repost

You’re gone now but I am forever proud
I go to your grave and speak out loud
I say I love you and I know you hear
The kind of man you were I will always revere
You set an example of right from wrong
I remember you all the time even when I write this song
From when I was young to when I grew older
You were there to help me brush my problems off my shoulder
Learn love laugh in life you immersed
Be strong with pride and put family first
You showed me how to strive to be my best right from the start
Live life well and follow my heart
I’ll miss you forever and let my soul be free
But always know that a piece of you resides within me
You were there for me in every way
The best dad there was so Happy Fathers day

To My Dad On This Father's Day

Lord, during this Father's day, I’m so glad…
For giving to me such a special dad!

He’s been very thoughtful and kind!
Fathers like him are very hard to find!

I remember growing up with my brothers…
He was special to us, like “no other!”

As a young boy, he taught me God’s ways.
And I’ve kept it throughout my days!

I’ve often sought his advice and counsel…
Especially when life
was looking “awful!”

He was there to give support
 the best he could...
Trying to help the best way
 he understood.

I suppose now that I’m growing old…
I’m remembering more things that my dad told!

“My father is one in a million.”
 Is what I believe.!
Many blessing from him
 I have received!

May the blessings of God daily surround him!
I’m so thankful that my mother found him!

Thank you Lord for giving to me a dad like this!
May his days ahead be happy
 and blessed!

This Father's Day

This Father's Day...
 I am so very glad.
For giving to me a
very special dad.

I've put him through
many trials and tears.
He's been patient and loving
during the years.

He taught me to love
 my parents and God.
Giving godly discipiine with
a firm hand and rod.

He was there to help me
 to understand.
With a father's love and an
 outstretched hand.

Much godly advice...
he was willing to give.
Teaching me how a man
 of God ought to live.

A gift from God...
In my father, did I find.
Who was there for me
 time after time.

He provided us kids a home.
We were blessed!
My father to me...
 Is simply the BEST!

Father's Day

Just like Mother's Day, Father's Day is also important to all of the fathers from America.
It's the time of the year for all the fathers and the sons/daughters to spend some quality
time together. All of the fathers can get almost anything they really want: new golf
clubs, a new watch, new designer suits, the works. Father's Day cards are also considered
as gifts, to say the least. Even if the grown children and their own children can't afford
all Father's Day presents, let alone a new watch, they can still ask their own children to
make some homemade Father's Day presents; priceless. The fathers, on Father's Day, can go
to country clubs for a game of golf while their sons/daughters and their own children are
at the dining room for brunch, especially when they're eating eggs Benedict. But the
problem is, this holiday is only on a different day in June. Father's Day comes around
once a year and it's been like that for years. But Father's Day isn't about the presents,
the brunch, or whatever; Father's Day is about spending time with our fathers and ewe
would never take them for granted. And without Father's Day, how are we going to help our
dads celebrate this holiday?

Happy Father's Day

We would like to say,
Happy Father’s Day,
Dad, to you,
And that we love you, too.

Father's Day Poems - Love Thy Father

Mornings of mystic enchantment inspired by a jestful warden invigorates the soul,
While a distant mew over yonder at where enlightenment disperses forms into a mould.
Who can say what is lustrous white embroiders to caliginous blue?
For years of time with one intrinsic love will make into...well, perfectly you.

Relish the grains of sand partook that binds you with that covenant.
Delight in the moments that increase the love immersed deep down, around, and above of it.
Clasp in your arms one fine, stout, especial emblem which informally reserves due.
Bethink that for with every father, there is essentially...well, you.
