Slavery is all over the world
The Filipinos are victims of slavery
We have been slaves by Spaniards
We have been slaves by Japanese
We have been slaves by Americans
Our government are fighting slavery
Poor people, we only have government
What if government is the one oppressing
What happen now, the left leaning
The yellow hardliners, the red loyalist
The Lower House, the Senate are united
In oppression, one in corruption, in united team
Oppressing the people, political persecution
Of Political enemies and peoples of faith
Politician have been blinded by money
Which money of the people, tax payers money
Mainstream media is now fostering fake news
The people are smelling silent dictatorship
The people are feeling silent Martial Law
Drugs, crimes and smuggling are proliferating
My country is going to be an anarchy
My country is going to the dogs
My country is going to the crocs
My people is in quandary right now
God, please intervene the affairs of my country, Philippines.
Truth Never Changes
Written: by Tom Wright

I detest modern changes that come by force,
Like distorting truth to appease the whiners.
Name changing doesn’t fix past mistakes of course,
It only brings satisfaction to the hardliners.
We change names on buildings just to please,
And familiar street names have started to vanish.
Historical statues are torn down to appease,
Due to the hate of some, these things we banish.
We may not like the truth but truth doesn’t change,
No matter how distasteful and deplorable it’s been.
Daily we face those who will attempt to rearrange,
And when we give in we allow the whiners to win.
Some might think that my thoughts are unkind,
Brotherly love only comes through God’s peace.
Those wrongs in our past we cannot unwind,
“A wheel that squeaks the loudest gets the grease.”
“If there is anything we wish to change in the child,
We should first examine it and see whether it is not something
That could better be changed in ourselves.”
Carl G. Jung
He razzed Iran’s chieftain emir
Cotton's had his writing premiere
The paparazzi
Might call him a Nazi
But he's just a smart profiteer
Author's note: This young senator reminds me of someone who might have attended a Hitler youth camp. Fear is his opportunity. While he is strangely self-assured, he is on the same side of the nuclear negotiations as the Iranian hardliners. He doesn't go back and talk about the time the USA overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran and installed the brutal Shah. (Even if that information is critical to the relationship we now have with the Iranians.) If talks fail we know there will be a short term benefit to certain groups. Are you affiliated with them, Senator? Follow the $$$.
