Oh Allah

OH! ALLAH! I THINK OF THEE,
when every tiny bit i see.
when i see the buds blossom,
i think of thy creation so awesome.
when i see the birds & butterfly,
i cant stop the praise of thy!

OH ALLAH I THINK OF THEE!
when every landscape i see,
when i see the well arranged maize,
my head bows in thy praise.
when the sun rises on each day new.
oh allah! i cant stop praise of you.

OH ALLAH I THINK OF THEE!
when different creatures i see
when i see the pillar-less sky,
i cant stop the praise of thy.
every bit of your excellent creation
urges me to surrender my soul in your devotion............

The Devil You See

Why are you so afraid of me
Of who I am growing to be
Flashing in your eyes I see
Fear and uncertainty

Why such irony
Such hypocrisy
Why were you so much nicer to me
When I denied the Almighty?

I've looked and looked
Until I found this Book
Of peace, of so many marvels
Which you call lies of the devil

I've tried so hard to hide
To purge these thoughts from my mind
Afraid, so afraid
Of what was burrowing inside.

Who is this devil you see
All I see
Is me.

Why are you free to preach
But act against what you teach
While I mask myself in guarded disguise
While the flower of my faith wilts and dies?

We all have a path to choose
Roads that claim to lead us to Truth
Trials Allah put us through
Then all that we used to do

And that we used to say
Are laid bare on that final day
Before the angels' searching eyes
Allah alone will judge you and I
For Allah is a better judge
Than you and I.

So till then won't you
Won't you look closely
Are you afraid to find
A little of yourself
In these eyes of mine?

When I Have Fears...

When I have fears
I want to cry
And give vent to my tears.
When I have fears;
I feel helpless.
When I have fears;
I need a friend
To share my feelings with.
When I have fears;
I turn to my Allah (God)
It is when I call Him,
He always comes to my help

When I have fears;
I share everything with Him,
I talk to Him
And bow before Him.
I tell Him everything,
Having no fears of leakage.

Having Him as a friend
I have no fears.
For I know
That I have a Companion;
Who’ll never run away
And will always come to my help
He’s Allah, only Allah,
Who always answers to my call.
That’s why,
When I have fears,
I have no fears.

Allah Came Knocking At My Heart

Allah came knocking at my heart

I have no choice and played no part

But still Allah came and

Allah came knocking at my heart.

Allah came knocking with a song

He came with a message, and a message strong --

La ilaha illalah,

Words of peace from afar.

Allah came knocking with the blessed

Truth upon me they impressed,

"Let us show you a new way,

Start your journey today."

I've slipped the door open a crack

You can't go back

Once you let the sunlight in --

Alhamdullilahi rabbil alameen.

The Truth, the Peace and I were worlds apart

Until Allah came

Until Allah came knocking at my heart.

Ramadan:First Verse

A time of rinsing the sins
A month of happy moods
The way we face god unfacingly
The way we walked our prophets way

The moon a symbol that guides
A creation of allah intwined
Its light reflecting our fast
Till the day breaks does it last

Returning

I observe my behavior, it it right, is it wrong.
I pray to my Lord five times a day. I fast for ramadan, shawwal and muhuram.

I am not perfect, yes I commit sins. I seek forgiveness and I feel remorse. Money has no
meaning, deed are whats needed. When I go what will I take with me?
My money, no
my clothes, no
my car, no
my deeds, yes.

We came from dust and to the dust we are returning.

I think constantly about my actions and what comes out my mouth. I try to be patient, calm
and kind. I give to charity, i smile even when i am down.

When I go, what willI take with me.

My jewllery, no
my home, no
my pride, no
my deeds, yes

We came from Allah and to him we shall return.

I hope and pray my deeds take me to the garden and not to the fire.

We came from the dust and to the dust we are returning.
