Awaken in the midst of a war
Shaken by the catastrophe
Forsaken by the Lord
Sometimes it saddens me because we catch these bad dreams
These fractured philosophies
We are practicing immodesty
Judging demographies, is this autonomy, or a theocracy?
Tracking the rainbows path
Reached the pot of gold
And realized it was empty
This whole journey for what?
Sometimes it just gets me
We are trapped in the flesh
A head full of bad memories
A heart that's been over-stretched
A soul that has been immortalized, you could easily forget, a credit line of
neglect and disrespect
A spirit that has been tormented and drug through the woods
And left to die silently, no one can hear his cries, no one could see his
good
No one understands him the way they should,
He has these wings on his back and he wishes he could
Extend them and wrap around the universe,
And preserve this jewel
