You get up early in the morning,
The sun is shinning radiantly.
Your very best friend has distanced himself,
Sad beyond words.
Maybe i will forgive him some day,
I still hope he is keeping well.
You meet someone for awhile and you become friends,
Then he no longer finds reason to communicate.
Another friend you can't see because the weather has been cold,
Hopefully the sun will come out again.
Thankful for the blessings in your life,
Days at the residence with art classes and excercise classes.
Days of walking with the beautiful weather and environment,
Good friends endure and continue to bless your life.
What is a friend, someone who cares and brings you happiness,
Cheers you when you need friendship.
You thank the Lord for the many blessings,
The days of dissonance leave.
Days where you are simply thankful.
For the many blessings of the Lord.
