Hiking along the canyon wall
It’s hard to take it in at all
Reaching so tall, for the sky
Looming there, majestic and grand
And yet a castle made of sand
So oddly planned, wonder why
Some time in eons past, it split,
Beginning as a narrow slit
Widening, lit just at noon
Time is patient and undeterred
Wind and rain are the tools preferred
The edges blurred, softly hewn
Then, slowly settling to the floor
Millennia, or maybe more
Quiet wait for lowly end
Earthquakes create new jagged parts
Painted red like a wounded heart
The cycle starts, all again

Jealousy very strong feeling
comes from fear, concern of being
weak leading to grudges for
lack of possessions, position.
Builds false, incorrect opinion
suspicion, relation soar.

Five Thousand Soon Will Reach
This is the number I do want to reach;
Maybe soon Trump they will impeach;
Makes us nervous;
Never joined service;
Lesson to politicians we should teach.

Englyn. What is that anyway?
Englyn, a group of strict Welsh poetic metres. The most popular form is the englyn unodl union (“direct monorhyme englyn”), which
is a combination of a cywydd, a type of rhyming couplet, and another form and is written in an intricate pattern of alliteration and rhyme called cynghanedd. Wow!!!
Still over ten again.
Two Daughters Did Die

Their two terrific daughters did die;
Both were sad and often would cry;
Death did part,
And broke heart;
Now are in heaven high in the sky.
