Premium Member Mazel-tov on their 50th Grandchild

To see this village, search for its wrinkles
Look to the bubbies, who first brought forth life
to the zaydes, who polish their words of Torah ‘til they twinkle

Bubby’s hands may be calloused from
                  Pesach cleaning, polishing every chalice
Zayde’s body bent from work by day
and relentlessly studying the nights away

But watch their wrinkles break out
as a thousand voices joyously shout
                Mazeltov!! Congratulations all around
on their 50th grandchild – count 'em –
Welcome him to bubby and zayde’s little town…

Premium Member Clouds Floating By

O, how vast and grand the sky!
Lad basking in field of rye,
Gazing through inquiring eye,
As he views clouds floating by.

Days full of games with bubbies,
Keen on make believe and races
Wondering and dreaming how,
Clouds can form beast or flower.

Pretend of boy on a lawn,
Sometimes the clouds cloak the sun,
Cloud formations slowly fade,
As each vanishes, more are made.

Clouds oft seem just o’er the trees,
Almost touching their green leaves,
White puffs against the blue sky,
As cotton candy in a boy’s eye.

Wispy clouds in carefree prance,
Wind like the maker of dance,
Creating scenes in the sky,
A daydreaming lad’s delight.

As sculptor, like no other,
Child’s imaginative eye,
Sees what there’s to discover,
In fleecy clouds floating by.

My Bubbies

MY BUBBIES:

My bubbies makes me laugh,

My bubbies makes me smile,

My bubbies makes me carry him miles and miles...

...I would do anything for this little man,
Always I'll help him however I can...

But the best thing I can show him is love and how to,

Because the day will come for everyone and this life will be through,

So love on your sister when you both play,

Love on you mommy EVERYDAY

And I sure hope you love on me to,

Because I will ALWAYS love you

Street Bubbies

we hang out
no doudt
we're on the same rout
at times
we drink wine
and go have a good time
some them sutties
