Night
Darkness enveloped me in an impenetrable, sinister pall,
A fathomless, murky expanse, an impregnable wall.
I tried in vain to come out of it, but I tried and tried in vain,
It held me in an inextricable grip, an inescapable looming bane.
I heard the sonorous cricket chirp from the dew-drenched grass,
I saw the soft white light of the myriads of twinkling stars,
I felt the cool breeze rustling through the gently swaying trees,
I was bathed in a sensation of tranquillity and enduring peace.
There was such intoxicating beauty in the fire flies’ sudden spark,
No sound was more soothing than the jackal’s cry in the dark,
Slowly, very slowly, unknowingly my eyes closed in blissful sleep,
There is no elixir salubrious, as in the night one’s slumber deep.

When I step on this place
Everything changed
The day I arrived here
I have seen wonders
Britannia my foreign country
A place to be
A place where you can see unseen
I have been in different places
I have been in clubs, parties
Yah! This is Britain
People can't sleep
Talking is what they know
People smoke and drink most of the time
Killings, robbers, prostitutes are there
Britain, Britannia, Brita
Is this manor and heaven
Or Sodom and Gomorra?
Britannia people are confused
what’s wrong with you?
Is it the weather, situation or development?
Who can I ask?
Who can give me an answer?
Britannia I am confused
You can find anything
Freedom and democracy is there
in sports you are number one
Britannia who created you
my foreign country
You can find different might cultures
Asian, Africans, Chinese, extra, extra
Britannia my foreign country why you?
