My Trembling Soul (For Joy)

So now again with day I wake
New mercy from my maker to take
And for your love to feel my ache
And beg his mercy not forsake
      My trembling soul for you

Down on my knees I kneel to pray
Rinse anew by the promise of day
My lips linger that I should say
Lord, prosper now your gem of clay
    My trembling soul bids you

I rise to see the landscape green
So sweetly dressed in the sun's bright sheen
But saw your face there hang between
Earth and sky, like a shining queen
      My trembling soul greets you

Heaven has God, and earth has you
My soul, a flower, has its dew
And love its binding work to do
For God's greatest gift ... so like you
Trembles still my soul, to joy for you

Premium Member Moon Song

Oh, ancient orb of mystery
above the earth so high
hung in your velvet gallery
you grace the nighttime sky.

The stars in heaven bow to you
in chorus, quivering
their voices joining clear and true
to you, their praises sing.

My weary heart, it beats along
with their joyous tune
to sing its own sweet, praise filled song
to you, oh wondrous moon!

Oh, ancient orb of mystery
above the the earth so high
a blessing for the world to see
treasure in the nighttime sky.

Pilot's High

As close to heaven as I'll ever be,
With all the world stretched out for me to see.
The altitude clearing my mind,
All of my troubles left far behind.
Higher and higher I always press,
Trying to leave the Earth and all its distress.
The clouds and the wind and the rain,
Are not nearly enough for me to refrain,
From climbing up above it all,
Shedding my problems, away they fall.
Leaving space in my mind for only positivity.
Setting my mind finally free.
It provides a clearing in the clouds of life,
A ray of hope through the strife.
No amount of sunshine on Earth can compete,
Because it's always sunny and 37,000 feet.

There Are Earth Angels

There are earth angels

Written By Dean Masciarelli

Monday, February 1, 2010

There are earth angels

That are amongst us
that do exist

That are filled with
warmth and tenderness

And you may
not believe this

Or maybe you have
never noticed them

Because you
weren’t looking
in the right place

But if you ever have
the chance
to meet one face to face

Which I think you will

Take notice

And try to greet them

With a kind warm embrace

And a smile on your face

And take the time
to get to know them

Because you will feel
a peacefulness that you
have never experienced

Through the extra
ordinary
powers of Gods grace

There are earth angels

That are amongst us

That do exist

That are filled with
warmth and tenderness
