Unmet Soulmate

Head rested upon the pane
Eyes watching the drops
Smacking upon the glass
How they slide down
As if caressing
Yet mirrored is the image
Upon my face
Where are you?

My body rests upon the bench
Eyes gaze at stars
Bright upon the dark sky
How they shimmer above
As if trying to find the other
Mirrored is their loss
Upon my being
Where are you?

My fingers rest upon the ivory
Eyes reading the music
Beauty upon silence
How the notes sound
As if reaching out
Mirrored is their need
Upon my heart
Where are you?

My soul rests upon time
Eyes searching for you
Pressing upon your soul
How the hope brews
As if I remember
Mirrored memories of dreams
Upon my soul remains the imprint
Who are you?

An Unmet Expectation

“Expectation is the root of all heartache”
Those fine words that were once read
Now every vital syllable is felt
Before them I was misled
With false yearning I was fed
I voluntarily injected myself with anticipation and adoration
And sadly I failed to infuse you with the same potion
All this lead to an empty commotion
An inner hidden turmoil of some sort
And like a shattered plate my heart fell to the ground
Living in a mirage of high expectancy and wishful thinking
Yet this hope has been misplaced
It took an epiphany to shatter my nerves and alert my senses
That Fraud of an appeal was the stem to my heartache
A moment of awareness mixed with the residue of regret
Denial the first step of any anguish
Molding my image of you that you have now tarnished
Looking for some sort of justification
Like a patriot for his fallen nation
Denial Denial Denial
It rings and sings in my ear
Like a gong struck with intensity
It rang and vibrated through my ear majestically
Now my mind to you it fakes a false conspiracy
To justify such actions I can stay hours pondering upon
Yet one day the truth will hit me
So tonight I choose to rid myself of it all
Before I crumble and fall
Tonight I rid myself of it and u…
I rid myself of it all…

Unmet Dreams

I remember just a few years ago
I remember me feeling so excited
I couldn't resist smiling
I couldn't resist thinking of my future
Today I'm going to be honest
Honest with you and
Honest with myself
I have never archived much
I have never enhanced my life
Life has been hard for me to Override
Listening to sad Soul music
Has been my life for a decade
Pure hate
Pure misery I remember
Beating myself up with shame
So much hate it wouldn't go away
So much tears my pillow became wet
So I would hide from my mother
I remember clicking at everyone
It's just feels like yesterday
Well honestly I still am angry,
Don't worry you wouldn't understand
Do you know ?
Do you know how it feels like?
Going to bed with a sore heart
Who am I kidding ?
I am just a boy who was ment to sleep at the kitchen
I guess you are wondering
Yes life has gobbled up my SOUL
I feel HELPLESS
PLEASE HELP ME.
I lost my pride very recently
Thanks to my life I have nothing to lose
Thanks to God for bieng angry at me I understand nor I did nothing wrong
May my SOUL regain sound through
Music and time, I doubt it .
Do you know
Do you know how it's like to be the only one in the family without a job
Do you know how it's like to be begging in prayer
Crying from the inside I PRAY
For I have realized that I am the PROBLEM HERE
it's hard bieng a burden to Mom and sis but I have no choice
I have no one to turn to
I have again realized that without a soul I can't be living
But I am ,I wonder how ?
I remember bieng in hospital
Laying there in bed
I felt different
I felt like the torture was over
The hate was over
The rumors were over
I felt like I was in a quiet place
Where nothing matters
No thoughts just me and the dark
No hurt ,no pain I still feel it when I hold my breath
It's me "Him" he who God does not know
Him who has no degree but a matric certificate
He who is jobless at time flies by
He who is a stranger to many
Undermined by many
But hey I'm okay with that
It's my life I'm used to that
Actually NO ,I'm not OKAY
I FEEL LIKE CRYING
CRYING UNTIL THE OCEAN SPEAKS TO ME
CRYING UNTIL I BLEED
CRYING UNTIL I BECOME weak
Until ... God knows what .

You and I will never meet
Not on this go 'round at least
But if you were to ask my advice
From what I've learned in this life
The lines what follow I'd concede
Set to a rock 'n roll beat:

Don’t put your faith in no man
He’s trying to do what he can
To get you to believe in his way
Just so you do what he say
That’s a goddam charlatan
Don’t waste faith on any man

Don’t you trust a lady
Who want to rock you like a baby
She drips her words like honey
So you give her your money
And get to feeling half crazy
No don’t you trust that lady

Church or government or company
Ain’t got time for you and me
They live a life of their own
Need to say how much they’ve grown
Institutional control must be
They might die if we’re too free

Love whoever you must love
Love whichever spirit’s up above
Love your body and your mind
Love the earth and sea and sky
Don’t worry about moving up
Love is love and that’s enough

Cloud of apricot bloom
weary and drowsy
whenever our gazes collide
Your harbor has dark and dawn
rhyme in an ether-like cadence
