Best Suiter Poems
January has pocketed frosted dreams
Firmly tucked away, hidden under her black ice
Her treacherous blizzards torment the foolhardy
Many driving too fast on her hills should know better
In a heavily prayer-scented car
A risk-taking older cigar-smoking woman twirls around on the ice
Finally landing with a splat, slamming into a steel embankment
Her days on earth over now
bitterer than any rejected suiter, the incredible storm picks up
The woman's Ford is covered in mounds of wet heavy snow
This is a desolate road, people do not see the wreck for hours
Nine One One is called, but it is too late.
This smoke has words that escape me actually
The EMT says, as he reaches the scene
I see no smoke, his unaware partner replies
Not seeing the haze that is taking the lady’s soul to heaven

Prose Poetry
The Aardvark and the Pangolin,
Romantically, had been entwined.
But infidelity, was in the air,
Aardvark, had a new suiter in mind.
Pangolin, did challenge his rival,
The Anteater with beautiful snout.
Don’t fear for me, on your betrayal,
Sweet Armadillo, is taking me out.

love is an investment
of intangable things
the the joy the excitment
that love undoubtably brings
the secret and the showing
with little unusual things
where by someone ends up knowing
personally what it means
the caring and the sharing
of gracious giving
the euphoria of life
recieved just by living
and bliss in a kiss
in it's element of surprise
a gift for the suiter
with closed eyes
marriage is an investment
in material things
the wedding the reception
the honeymoon suite
making love for the first time
that would be neat
vows and promises
that were very sweet
from this day forward
the promise of a life
with real intentions
not to do twice
to walk this earth
as man and wife
search together
for other delights
family is an investment
in the future
the inlaws the children
and responsibilities there in
the problems the worries
the presence of sin
and time eating away
the youthful skin
hollidays a chance
to do it again
aniversaries celebrations
of what did not end
and funerals
a look into a certian future
maybe a book that
contains an adventure
old age the gift
of many years
uncountable moments
when fears turn to tears
now is known the meaning of one
one being man and woman
someone who knows you
as well as yourself
your habits your likes
your problems with health
who shared equially with every loss

Blank verse
As I dream in the night, the world is mine to behold
where I see wondrous things that no one has foretold.
In adventurous travels, there are mountains I climb
and I'm not governed by the moving hands of time.
As I dream, I drift through dimensions of celestial skies,
imagining stars smile at me and wink their shining eyes.
I wander in my reveries, and my desires are fulfilled.
Last night I dreamed I painted the moon with gold gild.
Each time I dream, I delve deeper into my imagination.
Once, I found a handsome suiter for a brief flirtation.
He whispered words of love to me before kissing my lips,
then we merged with shadows of the moon's eclipse.
I try to dissuade the sun from rising at break of dawn,
hoping that my fantasy will linger on to hither and yon,
where magical realms glimmer like diamonds agleam.
I've many transcendent places yet to visit, as I dream.

Her toenails had spikes that could stop a train
Her fingers were claws that could dig through a drain
Her teeth were jagged, her breath was ragged.
There was no doubt we would have our work cut out.
Her dad left instructions loud and clear.
To reform and re-create his daughter dear.
We knew she would take time to get ready
For a man, a potential suiter, and maybe a steady.
We washed her hair seven times before we had suds.
We made her face mask out of St Lucria’s holiday muds.
We brushed those blackened teeth, and her sour tongue.
Our reputation as matchmakers by a thin thread clearly hung.
You said you could do it, my husband reminded me.
We thought we would be finished by nine, it was a quarter ‘til three.
Who will we find? Will it be an old geezer?
We picked off the roaches, and threw away the tweezer.
What about old man McGoogly? His eyesight is bad.
He has a mail-order bride. She arrived yesterday from Chad.
When we were finished we made a little list, trying hard.
But we did not have to bother for here came Jimmy McBard.
He did not recognize her a bit; he was struck with her now.
He began to date her. At her engagement he got a cow.
Her dowry was plentiful, her hair was smooth a comb.
They lived happily ever after, with her Dad, in his home.

The stars and leaves twinkled with eager anticipation.
Ethereal enchanted night was dazzled by the plan.
Thrilled that the wedding of the century was happening.
The romantical union of lovely Moon and her suiter, Sun.
Where will they honeymoon? A newcomer faerie queried.
The fey village filled with giggles at her naïve question.
One kiss a day is all they get, a wise elf whispered.
It is all the time they have daily, a soothsayer said.
It is enough, the moon thought, as she listened beyond the clouds.
The sun agreed, loving that it was finally their wedding day.
Twilight tuned the landscape into a splendiferous rainbow.
The wedding of the century was about to commence.
And what a kiss!

Peace is our future ; is our creature ; is our mature ; is our suiter ; is our super ; is our teacher ; is our weather ;

ANCESTORS OF LOVE
Hello great men and women
How is your paradise
Its a long time after your demise
But thankyou for in you we learn
Sorry for interrupting your normal rites
But its just a request of my so called rights
East west i gat you home
May my favour come
Was i cursed from my previous pages
But dont count them cant you see my todays page?
Please gone is my age
And worst is my daily wages
Can i have a chance to get the best lover
Because all times i try they says its over
Have my sins to cover
And backward look never
Im tired of trying all ways
Im tired of losing all days
I feel im not based in the field
But still you need generation at the end
Why cant you let me in the world
Where i will get my best suiter in word
And believe in my situation forever
Because i need you blessings ever
Listen to my last stanza
Grant me the knowledge of a dancer
Get me the best love world
And i shall praise you with my word.

My family is all mucked up she tells her date.
We have multiple diagnoses.
My dad is mentally deranged, a psychopath.
He has probably killed people.
My mom is a freak, she has early onset Alzheimer’s and depression.
My brother is a sociopath, and antisocial.
I am bipolar with dyslexia.
I thought you would want to know before our third date.
We could still date, but you need to know that I am gay,
Her fast-thinking suiter fibbed.

tiny pink buds
trimming little girls lace pinafores
one lone rose in a crystal vase at church
delighting those who take a whiff
knock-out roses
neon and fabulous
showing off in the garden
marigolds and lilacs jealous
yellow roses
given by unsure suiter
who was afraid to choose the red ones
greeted with a fabulous smile
white roses
in bride’s bouquet
enhancing her virginity
delighting her father and mother
honoring Christ

family of origin was an alcoholic family
she could not control her life when she was a child
she could control this young suiter
It is all she wanted
She married him
and his life was hell
because she had to control everything
to make up for her childhood

Both armies scatter when they see warrior M appear
A fierce female mantis who always inspires great fear
Even her boy cousins no longer make fun or jeer
She has already made six powerful husbands disappear
Warrior M smiles as the armies disperse up and down the hill
Turning tail and running as if she is the ultimate scary Jill
Her armor, steed and spear have not one bit of female frill
Terrified males run away from her faster than lemons can spill
As you may have suspected, she bites off each head
The second her menfolk lure her into a room with a bed.
She cannot help being a mantis, her life is well-lead.
There goes an unsuspecting suiter, not-so-smart-Fred.

Ballad
She was a proud Osage who loved her tribe, her family and her skunk.
He had adopted her when he was a baby; he loved her so….
Will he spray me? Potential suiters asked, a bit afraid of this fluff ball.
Only if he does not like you, Girl who Loves Animals replied.
Her father sat at the edge of the teepee listening.
Glad to have a bit of distance from her pet, Stinker.
Stinker was not fond of him; he had been sprayed a few times.
Why don’t you get rid of him? Some of the wise men of the council suggested.
She loves him, and he keeps suiters away, he replied.
He is the best birth control we could ever have.
What if he likes the suiter? One of his council men inquired.
So far, he has liked none of them, replied her father.
