;;;;;;;;.............;;;;;;;;

so many frigid clouds
so many dangling drooping dippers
on this icy, icy night of paper, powder and pearl…
she gushes out from the night blanket,
cats and tigers in flight, trees mashing ivory
feathers with silver stones.
her lukewarm eyes sink with velvet birds
sketching her photographs tissue crepe,
ocean crème and maiden white,
nesting on hemisphere’s balding coves
the sky-lamps trip on her thermal feet
naked… i mean, like breasts of newborn doves
on the nest’s chilled waiting room...

and just past midnight
at the basement of stillness, nothingness,
her translucent air swerves in transit
between visions of secluded saints and sinners
weeping then laughing at the bite of polar time.
this moon lady of frost
embraces lantern clouds waning,
heralding her sacred infant-like incantation
seemingly detached from earth mother’s limbs
on this icy, icy night of paper, powder and pearl…

she is cold changing to warm,
breathless along an arctic season longing
for her new moonchild to bear the fruits

of plump colors soon to be.

Sunset Skeletons

The night sky’s lovers
Emerge in their millions
To pay homage to their beloved

Infatuated stargazers
Souls ignited by a phantom flame,
Mooning at their mistress
With cats eyes
Through rose tinted glass pipes

Down milky paths
And sunset boulevards they stroll
Peeping through a keyhole lense
As she primps and primes and twinkles
Ready for the close up

Celestial saucepans
Telescopic titans

They are just old light

Thrown across the vacuum
By burnt out bodies

Cold stone shadows
Sitting spiteful in the sky
Ashes of an ancient fire
Jealous with their lingering warmth

Their stench fills the black

Pockmark pinpricks
Ugly in their amaranthine sprawl
A canvas defaced,
They spill across spoilt horizons

Morning heralds the return
Of their heavenly sister
Disgraced by her benevolence,
They veil themselves
And their brother turns away his face

The dome lies as a grave
Empty of its skeletons

Though night conceals sins
Dreamt in day
The darkness reveals the sky’s secret shame

Premium Member The Grandeur

I look upon the night sky
in awe, wishing I could fly
if only to touch a meager star
would make me smile by far

I could never fathom the master plan
for each star and each constellation, I am just a fan
admiring the splendor
it is like a new venture,

The stars glitter and smile
each with their own unique style
I have the honor of looking at the night sky
wishing I had the wings to fly
to only touch them for a while…
