Girl With the Diamond Eyes

my girl
has a strange effect on me

shes more sweet than honey
but be warned this queen bee can sting
she can be bitter at times

but i dont mind cause
shes all mine
shes my only dream
and she can be like a angel to me

there are always times when diamonds
loose their shine but since the day i made her mine
that shine has never left
her beautiful eyes

shes my girl
the girl with the diamond eyes

this girl is more beautiful than anything
she is my perfect vision of life
she means everything to me

shes my angel and my dream
but at times she can be
the devil to me

we are crazy in desire
we fit together well
shes crazy
and im crazy for her

shes bad
and ill be bad for her

my girl
has a strange effect on me

shes more sweet than honey
but be warned this queen bee can sting
she can be bitter at times

but i dont mind cause
shes all mine
shes my only dream
and she can be like a angel to me

there are always times when diamonds
loose their shine but since the day i made her mine
that shine has never left
her beautiful eyes

shes my girl
the girl with the diamond eyes

yea my girl
with the diamond eyes

she makes me feel crazy
sometimes
but i dont mine as long as i can call
that girl with the diamond eyes mine

i pray they always shine

California Girl

Saw a girl walkin’ down the road
Stopped to talk, then that pretty face glowed
"Hey there girl, where ya headin’?"
"California, babe. You’re a swinger I’m bettin’."

California Girl was her name
Thought life was just a game
Lived too fast, lived too hard
Now she’s been dealt her last card

We were drivin’ down the highway
Told her she was goin’ my way
To California, the place of dreams
The place of lies, the place of schemes

California Girl was her name
Put her momma to shame
Endulged too much, had a little more
Now she’s left this world, what for?

Made it to California, what a sight to see
We were gonna rule it all, just her and me
Stopped into this little hotel she knew
Not a lotta people were there, only a few

California Girl was her name
Never wanted to be the same
She had everything, she had it all
But then her life took a horrible fall

This hotel was heaven, you know
They offered grass, they offered snow
She vanished for hours then came back
I knew our lives had left the track

California Girl was her name
Knew she was destined for money and fame
Played the good boys, loved the bad
She never even knew of the life she had

A month into our hotel stay
My baby California Girl had begun to stray
Woke up late one night to find her dead
Layin’ on the floor right next to my bed

California Girl was her name
Thought life was just a game
Lived too fast, lived too hard
Now she’s been dealt her last card

Heartbeat

You can tell the song of the girl too afraid to sing
To the beat of her own drum from miles away
Her song has no life

You can hear the song of the suppressor
Who makes that girl afraid to sing
To her own heartbeat
The suppressor’s song is sung loud
And with authority
To cover his own insecurities

You can differentiate between followers and leaders too
The followers sing an old familiar tune
Together so their voices blend
No one can hear individual voices
There is safety in numbers
 The leader’s song breaks free
A melody that soars so high
That others look up to it

Some don’t fall into any set category
Their songs weave into everyone else’s
 Trying different tunes and octaves
They belong nowhere and everywhere
And don’t stay anywhere for long

Others sing their song on a different frequency
That few can hear and enjoy
But who’s to say the song is good or bad
When we don’t take the time
To tune in and truly hear

The songs of man and girl alike
Flow and peak and weave
Through melodies and harmony
That never the earth will leave

The Fair Girl and the Black Egret

In a river marsh, where pondweeds and cattails grew in warm clime,
the fair girl found a tall, black egret
with whom she could have a chat;
and was it the same one that her parents rescued from the wild?

Among bulrushes taller than she actually was,
the anxious girl told that bird one of her wishes:
to hop on his back and fly as the happiest butterfly,
and find her mom whom she remembered singing a lullaby.

" Take me to my mom!" she begged the wading bird.
" Nobody ever takes me there to visit her" she exclaimed.
" She may be miles away from here...way past the blue ocean!"
He replied with little confidence, lacking a sense of emotion.

The fair girl kept on begging, until the black egret finally nodded.
" Thank you, kind bird...now let's fly and depart from this marshland!"
So the two of them ventured into a cloudy sky expecting no rainfall...
not until they had gotten there safely and heard that sweet mother's call..

Premium Member Ashley Had a Small Goat

Ashley Had a Small Goat
Oh, Ashley had a Small goat,
Small goat, Small goat,
Ashley had a Small goat,
And he had a coat of white

He followed her to school one day,
School one day, school one day,
He followed her to school one day,
And drank a some water.

Oh, once he ate a spinach can,
Spinach can, spinach can,
once he ate a spinach can,
Also a line of clothes.

The clothes can do no harm inside,
Harm inside, harm inside,
the clothes can do no harm inside,
But oh! The spinach can!

The can was filled with achemical,
chemical , chemical chemical,
The can was filled with a chemical,
Which the goat thought was food

He rubbed against poor Ashley's chin,
Ashley's chin, Ashley's chin,
He rubbed against poor Ashley's chin,
His deep distress to ease.

There was a flash of girl and goat,
Girl and goat, girl and goat
There was a flash of girl and goat
And they were seen no more..

(Slowly)
Ashley's soul to Heaven went,
Heaven went, Heaven went,
Ashley's soul to Heaven went,
And Mr. Goat went there too.

Warm Embrace

It's four am your off to sleep
Were locked in a warm
embrace
my thought's alone are left to
stew
as you lie in silent dream

I say hey little girl
I say hey little girl what you
doing here

I stay awake in secret bliss
you look so good lying there
I go to move you pull me close
just a kiss so you know i'm
here

I say hey little girl
I say hey little girl what you
doing here

I fell asleep and I had a dream
The most wonderful dream of
all
It was you and me for eternity
I'd like to see what tommorrow
will bring

Free Cee the Girl Next Door Gets Next To the Boy Next Door Song

This is a song to be sung by a lady so if there's one out there who thinks this worthy, sings and writes music take this and run with it. The only thing I want is the knowledge that someone used it...thanks if anyone can do this:
THE GIRL NEXT DOOR GETS NEXT TO THE BOY NEXT DOOR

I remember when the boy next door first knocked upon my door
I’d seen him washing his ninety-six Chevy two days before
He was shirtless and sweating while wetting down his wheels
And that is when a lady’s desire and lack of better judgment congeals

I think it was blue with writing that read “Body By Design”
I’m talking about the shirt of a man I’d like to make mine
With ripples and his rough spots in all the perfect places
Yet soft enough to hold me and enfold me in his embraces

The boy next door had a two-door Chevy he named “Beth”
He saw me as I walked by in short-shorts and very short of breath
The boy next door was breathtaking with eyes of beautiful blue
Someone who could make this girl next door’s dreams come true

But who, I wondered, was this lady by the name of Beth
Could he have confused the “B” as in boy with an “S” as in Seth?
Yes, that’s the circumstance now I’m sure with certainty
His name is Seth, there is no Beth, and I know that certainly

I remember when the boy next door first knocked upon my door
I’d seen him washing his ninety-six Chevy two days before
He was shirtless and sweating while wetting down his wheels
And that is when a lady’s desire and lack of better judgment congeals

That boy next door went from door to door looking for a kiss
While I waited at my door for the boy next door to come and kiss this miss
Finally we kept kissing and his beauty made my feverish flesh cold
And still gives me chills and thrills while he carries me over the threshold

The boy next door had a two-door Chevy that he named “Beth”
He saw me as I walked by in short-shorts and very short of breath
The boy next door was breathtaking with eyes of beautiful blue
The boy next door who made this girl next door’s dreams come true
And now the boy next door is the boy next door no more
Since that boy next door and I now share the very same front door
The very same…………… front door!

The Wishful Love Song

There was the night that I lost my love
Then I blamed it all on me
I broke into tears
It’s felt like I’ve been lost for years

This is a wishful love song
But I feel lonely all night long
This is a wishful love song
And I’ll sing this all night long

I wish so much
That I could give a girl my heart
I want to remember what it feels like
To give a girl my all

This is a wishful love song
But I feel lonely all night long
This is a wishful love song
And I’ll sing this all night long

Sometimes I wonder what I did wrong
And why I’m not that strong
I’m asking God what I can do
To find a girl that will make me new

This is a wishful love song
But I feel lonely all night long
This is a wishful love song
And I’ll sing this all night long

I know I can’t fall too fast
And have another broken aftermath
But I want to fall in love
And show her God above

This is a wishful love song
But I feel lonely all night long
This is a wishful love song
And I’ll sing this all night long

Through the Eyes of a Child

{verse-1}
I got home last night at four
Found the door open wide
and when I shut and locked the door
I stumbled over something inside
As I searched for the light
I heard my baby girl say
Daddy I'm alone here tonight
Mommy lays there and won't wake up

{verse-2}
Then I felt her little arms
Squeeze tight around my leg
She said Mommy wasn't feeling good
And went to sleep there on the floor
And as the tears fell from eyes
My baby girl said, It's alright Daddy
Mommy will be up soon, I'm sure
That's when I fell to pieces

{Chorus}
Through The eyes of a child
To young to understand
Through the eyes of a child
How can I tell her Mommy's gone

{verse-3}
Then I told her Mommy went to heaven
And that God didn't need her body
She looked at me confused
And said Then Mommy's not up there
Then a hand touched my hand
And a voice said let me try
Then my baby girl turned to me
And said Daddy, I still have you

{chorus}
Through The eyes of a child
To young to understand
Through the eyes of a child
Grew up 'fast when Mommy died

Digging Into the Beatles' Mind

How much sorrow can you take,
when all you think of is true joy?
Very lonely but not hopeless
until another sunrise comes...
you will be wishing, wide-awake,
for the sweet lips of that young boy!

O lonely girl listening to music and imagining love,
you shouldn't get wings and turn into a dove,
because boys don't believe in keeping promises...
they find another foolish girl somewhere else!
O lonely girl barely fourteen refrain from desire,
that desire that can only end up in dire!

It's okay to dream as teens do to vent their rage,
it's fine to have a fantasy and wait for the phone to ring;
and it's quite normal to think of boys at this age,
but be warned of the first heartbreak from a tender wink,
it may lead to something you are not ready for,
so keep on dreaming and shut that darn door!

Towards midnight you hear his voice again and feel fine,
it must be one of those dreams when he says, " Little doll,
you are the prettiest one among others so slim and tall!"
And he goes on, " I made you a promise you'll be all mine!"
Oh, dreamer so innocent: a pillow case is all you hold,
he's not yours by any means...he's a teaser and way too old!

Your silly head is listening to the song he wrote,
a lovely love song he sent to your cellphone,
falling in love is not learned from a romance book:
words mislead and confuse the ones who are alone;
you may love him dearly, but all he does is using you for his own delight...
he may love you, but he'll sing his song to someone who's not too bright.

Hold On

She falls like the winter snow
cold and fragile
left to melt without
Why hold on
when there’s no more hope?
Why press on
when there’s no one left
to press on for?
And so she cries herself to sleep at night
And all the demons
rape her memories while she sleeps
Being used,
always the best thing she could do
But she’s such a good girl (such a good girl)
She’s such a nice girl (such a nice girl)
But she’s such a sad girl (such a sad girl)
such a sad girl (such a sad girl)
She does not
does not deserve this
She cannot
cannot fight this
Her last kiss
was filled with poison
And now she’s crying
because he was lying
And now she’s crying
And now she’s crying
And now she’s dying
no longer trying
But beautiful girl
it’s not the end of the world
Just please hold on
Just please hold on
for another day
and eventually
your pain will
it will go away

I Ask You

Verse 1:
I ask you what’s wrong but you won’t say a word
So I had to hear it from a little bird
She told me you were having second thoughts
And the remainder of her words left my stomach in knots
She claimed you had found someone new

Verse 2:
When we first met our love was such bliss
I can still remember the taste of your kiss
But sometime since then we’ve grown apart
I guess I’m no longer the need of your heart
Especially after all we’ve been through

Bridge:
Sometimes I wonder if it’s true
Now it’s time that I ask you

Chorus:
Does this song remind you of me
Or is it another girl you see
Do you picture the nights we’ve had
Way before everything went bad
Or do you see another’s face
And is it Her memory you can’t erase
If it is just let me know
It’ll make it that much easier to go

Verse 3:
When we’re together something feels wrong
I keep thinking of how we’ve been together so long
Maybe you’re bored, or was it just me
Was I not everything you hoped I would be
Tell me you haven’t found someone new

Repeat Bridge
Repeat Chorus

Does this song remind you of me
Or is it another girl you see

Love Ain' T a Power Strip

I look into your eyes
I see the fear
he brought into your life
If u don't do something
or if you do it wrong
he raises his hand at you
then fear for your life

I've seen this happen so many times
One of these nights
You should walk out and leave
Don't let that man
Control you

If that guy really loved you
Why does he smack you around
What is with him always being in power
Love is love not a power strip

Don't let him hurt you
Don't let him scare you done
Don't feel embraced about the marks
Don't think that he is winning

One of those days raise your hand back
Don't get scared
Cause girl I backing you up
love is a special thing
Don't get me wrong
But love ain't a power strip

He wants all the power
He wants you too
He has to learn
Your a good girl
Not a play toy

I see your fear
when I look in to your eyes
I know he raises his hand
all the time at you girl

Don't be scared
let him know you fight back
Don't leave him win
fear ain't love
and love ain't' a power strip

Move Me By Amy Matthew Ascap 2005

v1) Oooh I can't breathe
when you're near me..
I want you so bad-
it hurts inside..
ooh can't help it
when I look into your eyes
yah it makes me want to cry ooh..

pre ch) Baby I can't hide - how you touch me inside
every breath draws me closer to you..
you speak to my heart as were lying in the dark
believe me when I say... only your love girl can move me this way..

ch)(five part harmonies) you bring me to my knees
You're all I ever need.. (I ever need)
I would die for you girl yah you know its true now.
my heart beats for you - no one loves me like you do
believe me when I say only your love
can move me this way... (this way yah).

v2) mmm want to tell you
but I am shaking inside
I've got no where to run
and no place to hide
mm can't control it
when you're holding me
in your arms baby
is where I need to be.. hah

ch)repeat

bridge: in your eyes I see heaven
no I can't lie now
I am goin under without ya
I crave your love but I don't know how..
ooh I need you to want me
o honey cant you see..
every touch leaves me gasping
only your love girl can set me free... ohhh.
