Pieces of Eternity (Seasons Finale)

Maybe it’s unacceptable
Live a life capable of a true fable
True friends never end
But take you back to where it all began
But hey misery gave us something to believe in
Stress became a greater award as we achieved sin
What could I say? Our savior died on a cross tough as pig skin
Never once cried over the loss
Forbidden fruit, Eden garden
Excuse me, my lord, I beg your pardon
And so what if these medics carry life in a carton
But I ain’t trippin
Simply because this is me until my dying day
Please stop crying, you know I can’t stay
I’m going to be the same until my dying day
Over in that casket is where I’m trying to lay
That’s right until my dying day
True lost souls from the dark side
Forever, we as mortals ride
Peace is nothing, I fend for quiet time
Rebels in riot lines
Previous high school graduates
Symbols of an adjective running toward fate
True personality suffer the privilege of inmates
How could you hesitate to ask
There’s no stranger under this mask
Lonely and unholy, who’s there to console me?
I want to get away, forever restless
You can see my similarities with the ocean
I’m stress less
Because this is me until my dying day
Please stop crying, you know I can’t stay
I’m going to be the same until my dying day
Over in that casket is where I’m trying to lay
My son, my friend
We are but pieces of eternity
Mesh on, mesh off
Even at our best times we’re soft
Who’s to say I’d regret my decision
To lead a sinners life without God’s supervision
On a one man mission
And I know I don’t come around much
Got my palms in reality
Searching for something softer to touch
Whisper in my ear, death makes me blush
And Hell only flatters me
One and one, through matter the winds scatter me
I ain’t trippin, baby girl get off your knees
You’re in the arms of a future me
And I can’t see heaven from a distance
Fire me over clouds like a piston
Marching through blood
But it’s all mud and water to Darkhouse
Stand still let me mark my spouse
Live my life as an outcast
How could you even picture me at my last?
Dear lord show some mercy on my followers
Bless those that swallow dust to follow us
No need to borrow sympathy
Unforgiving sorrow made my enemies envy me

{in the Distance I Hear} a Lonely Guitar

I need your kiss I need your arms, then
I need your kiss again
I want to hold you tonight, arm in arm
And keep you safe in this day of harm

I know you still have thoughts for me
Even though you wanted to be free
Now I'm down each day on bended knee
Cause these memories of you cause agony

Then off In the distance I hear a lonely guitar
Playing so softly but it's just to far
A lonely guitar echoing from a mountain top
Playing our song, Oh! I just wish it would stop

I wish you were here in my arms again
Cause my love for you is more than friends
My eyes do cry when I think of you
Oh! I just don't know what to do

I hold these memories of your touch
But the memories I hold's just not enough
I need your lips your soul your heart
Like before the day...we drifted apart

Then off In the distance I hear that lonely guitar
Playing so softly but it's just to far
A lonely guitar echoing from a mountain top
Playing our song, Oh! I just wish it would stop

A lonely guitar echoing from a mountain top
Playing our song, Oh! I wish it would stop
Oh! I wish it would stop

The Song of the Nation

We sing the song today withal our pride
For the nation who gave us our life,
Let us forgive for a day all enmities
And solely beclam their souls
Who bled freedom for us to live and peacfully die.

Let us unite today one nation not several states
One religion not casteism, one culture not classism,
Let us worship today one idol not millions we reverenced
One language not parted, one trait not fallacious
For those who bled freedom for us to bask and relish the daylight.

We sing the song today withal our pride
For those who sweated for us to gratify our hunger,
Let us praise for a day with all dignity
And give their life a day to live
For those who ploughed and gave the nation its scenic greenary.

Let us bestow with one individual not one amongst the crowd
One voice not hollers, one vision not apathetic eyes,
Let us preach today for one regime not unbiased politics
One person not any gender, one love not any protagonist
For those who honored our nation with medals and fame.

We sing the song today withal our pride
For those who penned us their creative literally works and arts,
Let us pray a spiritual rebirth with all dedication
And narrate their noble life
For those who treasured our nation with poetries, stories and fine arts.

Let us travel together with one destination and no bar
From Kutch to Churra, from the Himalaya to Nicobar
We are all martyrs, let us be blessed by the holy bathe in the Ganga
And unite the masses with the spirit of the song of our nation
For all those who deserve, let us salute for them hoisting the flag
Our Pride, Our nation, India.

Note: Dedicated to all the Indians. Happy Independence Day. (15th August, 2011)

The Land Beyond the Sun

O, see that sunset.
That means the day is almost done,
But there’s a new day dawning
In a land beyond the sun.
A day of perfect peace and joy
For you and me,
In a land, beyond the sun,
That we call Eternity.

O, see that sunset.
That means it won't be long till night;
But after just a short sleep,
We'll wake to morning light.
A morning when from pain and grief
We’ll all be free.
In that land beyond the sun,
That we call Eternity.

Where no one ever dies;
No tears will dim our eyes.
In the presence of the Lord
We'll ever be.
He'll wipe away all tears;
We'll live through endless years,
In that land beyond the sun,
That we call Eternity.

The Sunny Day Blues Man

living for the moment
ended life as we knew it
but i'm just doing whatever
kind of hoping
for some entertainment
along the way

a day in the life
of the sunny day blues man
hands down
this is the best i ever was
the best i'll ever be
don't you agree

the sunny day blues man
isn't it funny the way news slants
the return of the sunny day blues man
just be happy with what you choose man
Never a better option than a given hand
thank god for the sunny day blues man

hope isn't a measure
it's just tested time
a clamp of suspense
when the moments array
an echo of needs
to balance out
the ways things seem
desire
is the best you and I
will ever be
don't you agree

the sunny day blues man
isn't it funny the way news slants
the return of the sunny day blues man
just be happy with what you choose man
Never a better option than a given hand
thank god for the sunny day blues man

at times life seems to cycles
signals of distress
vanity and cupcakes
i know, it's a brute mess
but along with the irony
comes pancakes
yes, the madness seems to iron me
yet i am still here

the eyes a thinker
life of a fighter
hands of a lighter weight
unburdened
when smiles reflected a pinch of hurting
because in punishment
the sunlight just couldn't outreach the curtains
though we take the steps alike
we trespass the worries to vaguely
but it was times like these that made me
and it's the best i'll ever be

"the things we accept in steps of courage"

Be the Inspiration

Your mind races when you hear that song
The sun glasses go on
And the volume goes up
Your foot hits the peddle while imagination races for a medal

Maybe its the melody
Or the singer who makes you feel like a winner
Perhaps the words motivate your inner desire
Which pushes you to let lose sets you on fire

Each of us has a trigger
And we want to be that super hero
The kind that everyone looks up to
But to be the inspiration

You gotta be willing to let go of the illusion
To be that speed racer and come up on top
Look in that rear view mirror
Ask yourself so why you in such a rush

But then your ego says a…. man it ain’t no big deal everything’s cool
Your heads bobbing to the beat your hair is flying in the wind
Ya got this view of how everything should be
But deep in your belly ya got this fear and ya shrug it off like everything’s ok

So you continue on your merry way day after day
Then one day maybe five years later you here that voice again
Suddenly all those emotions come rushing back
But this time you say ok I’m ready to listen

And the message is clear so you change the direction
You start to become the inspiration
People start to praise you for your actions
Then one day you meet this young man whom is stuck in his pride

You offer him guidance you tell him the message
He looks up at you and tears fill his eyes
He just kneels down sobbing from all the hurt
You say it’s ok because “Love is the answer”

The Hallelujah Cry

“It's not a cry you can hear at night. It's not somebody who's seen the light. It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah.”

This is my favorite quote from the song Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright because it is a sad yet uplifting song that tells about the trouble of the world in their attempt of piety and holy praise. It also speaks personally to me because of the troubles I have faced. The melody is beautiful, done on a piano, and this composition is moving. it brings me memories of my Grandma's sudden and painful death, and so I cherish it with prideful tears.

The dark hunter howls with ferocious pride.
Yet you cannot hear it at the bed side.
A happy day this day should be,
Yet it's not for you, nor for me.
For Death is cold and overbearing.
The pain of grief we end up sharing.
The song you sing should bring a smile,
This stain of death gives Holy defile.
Cold and broken is this night.
He's going down, there is no fight.
The silver tears pour down our face,
For this is no Hallelujah place.

Lonely Space Traveler

I sunbathed on the surface of mercury.
I windsailed on the sand dunes of mars.
I gazed upon venus and from my memory.
It was the most lovely by far, but that
was until the day I saw you,
from across the universe. I couldn't help
notice how beautiful was your blue,
and that's all it was worth.

and I like to fly far away from here.
across the galaxy to be within your
atmosphere. Whoa, time is just an ocean
that i'll brave to sail.
For a chance to say hello to you.
I bid farewell.

Raindrops are falling on my head
as I rest on a lonely world that lies
between us. But don't think for a second
that I've been mislead. If you look out you'll
see me riding on the back of pegasus, and a
million years i'll still be on my way. So don't
dare try to say it's all a lie, because if you're
willing wait then baby marked this day until
the day you see me streaking through your sky.

and I like to fly far away from here.
across the galaxy to be within your
atmosphere. Whoa, time is just an ocean
that i'll brave to sail.
For a chance to say hello to you.
I bid farewell

Sandbox Love

She was my sandbox love,
When we were just kids
The one I dared to eat dirt
My hero, when she did
My enemy, when she said
Your turn now and I double dog dare
You eat some dirt
And that dead worm over there

She wore pink tennis shoes,
And her hair in pigtails
We were dreamers with wings
living life on a dare
My sandbox love and I
Testing our limits,
Running wild and free

Little girls play dress up,
Boys just destroy things
She’d say, I am Princess,
 You are a Prince
I had a smile on my face
Thinking of my sweet revenge
The next day I’ll be a firey dragon,
she’ll be a witch, that I’ll eat end

There in the sandbox, we gave our spit pledges
Promising each other, our love would last forever
Her family moved away and I’d not seen her since
But I honor my pledge each day I reminisce
My sandbox love, you - I’ll never forget

In My Nights

Some things are there that wakes me as I sleep,
They are the dreams of mine aroused in my nights.

The day today and those were passed yesterday were timeless,
But clusters of their memories fill my mind in my nights.

Now the voice of revelation sounds in the thoughts,
That surprised me giving an intangible world in my nights.

And a day when I sights my heart-crush,
A feeling of loneliness appears very inane in my nights.

Next day thought which make me humane clicked to me,
When I thought I am not considerate in my nights

Wayward Mind

Where did my mind go?
Did it fly away on the back of a star,
did it hitch a ride to heaven?
Where is my mind now?
Well, it's flying high in the place where the eagles soar.
Floating through space now,
on the back of a psychedelic rainbow train.

Will it come back again?

PRE-CHORUS

And I said, Hey, I just wanna stay insane.
Don't wanna come back to this sad reality.
Hey, I don't wanna feel this pain -
Just wanna wake up one day not being me...

CHORUS

I've gotta run baby, run baby, run baby, run baby,
run away.
Fly baby, fly baby, fly baby, fly baby,
each and every day.
Spread my wings, touch the sky,
catch broken dreams.
Yeah, yeah.
Not what it seems.
Yeah, yeah.

Where did my love go?
Did it disappear like smoke in a cloud?
Does it shine right through the Heavens?
Will I ever stop searching,
or will you write my name in never-ending tears?
Where is my love now?
Well it's spinning round in currents forever gone.
Just remember the way now.
Don't lose myself in a million empty ways.

Just keep counting the days.

PRE-CHORUS

And I said, Hey, I just wanna stay insane.
Don't wanna come back to this sad reality.
Hey, I don't wanna feel this pain.
Just wanna wake up one day not being me....

CHORUS

I've gotta run baby, run baby, run baby, run baby,
run away.
Fly baby, fly baby, fly baby, fly baby,
each and every day.
Spread my wings, touch the sky.
Catch broken dreams,
Yeah, yeah
Not what it seems,
Yeah, yeah.
I'll catch my dreams,
Yeah, yeah.

The Day Before

drink my poison
make some noise again
spill your thoughts into a song
you're not
who you say you are

whispers, old lullabies
washing away at time
night fades into day
as the mornings
begin the play
yesterday's reruns
trickle into dew
seen it all the day before
tomorrows nothing new

drink my poison
make me love once more
like a flower in the rain
i won't bother
to unlock your door
it's nothing anymore

sleeping far less hours
then the moments
fading away
lost yourself
stirring in the cold
figured it's time
catching up with age
living by the pages

sunrise the day before
i love you even more
going on to bed right now
i wish you were a sound
images plague my head
i'm glad you're finally found

Very Bad News

Anna left early from Soho
But still she got caught in the storm
Due at 5:30, it’s quarter to ten
She should never have driven alone

Maybe she’s parked at a rest stop
Or maybe some roadside motel
Or maybe we never will see her again
You know sometimes it’s too close to tell

Why the fates change the rules
In the middle of the game is a mystery
And I hate to bear all of this very bad news
It’s just one point of view but what can you do when it’s history?

Joey and Donna were married
Out of high school with nothing to show
But a rundown apartment with too many bills
And a bad case of nowhere to go

Maybe he really did love her
Maybe he took all the blame
Maybe he figured when he pulled the trigger
The two were both one and the same

Bobby had every advantage
Good childhood, and family and friends
And all the disposable income he wished
To buy every means to an end

Maybe he overextended
Maybe he took it too far
Or maybe he took it one too many times
Dying ugly in some stranger’s car

Why the good all die young
One day here then too soon been and gone is a mystery
And I hate to bear all of this very bad news
It’s just one point of view but what can you do when it’s history?

We play every game feeling lucky
Taking chances that we can’t take back
Poor decisions and accidents
These are the facts that distinguish the light from the black

One day we live to the fullest
The next day we live in the past
One day we dance at the top of the world
And one day will be suddenly last

We hang by a thread
Between living and dead, for how long is a mystery
So hard to hear all of this very bad news
Not much of a view, but what can you do?

When we live and we die in the blink of an eye
Never knowing the mystery
And I hate to bear all of this very bad news
But what can you do?
What can you do when it’s history?

Your Song

When I feel lonely,
And I miss you,
I listen to you sing,
To help carry me through.
I close my eyes,
And pretend you're here,
I listen to you sing,
Everywhere.
Then I open my eyes,
Because the song is done,
So I close them again,
And begin a new one.
Your voice carries me away,
From my troubles on Earth,
Troubles I've had,
Since the day of my birth.
I'm sorry when the songs are over,
And I've listened to them all,
When I was listening to them,
I felt a bit tall.
I can't wait until I see you,
To record a new song,
TThen I can listen to it,
All day long.
