IMAGINATION
Closed eyes; under a locked prism of unavailable light
subjects our third eye to mind's internal creation;
imagined images viewed by non-existent senses
on an opague three dimensional screen.
In an algorithm of shedded particle waves
Insight quickly fades back into a darkened vision
of only half a picture without reflection.
It leaves with us a broken trail of possibilities
new thoughts, new choices, changes in destiny
warily made under duress of immediacy
trying to conceive a canvas framed
by the hand of God.
It is in response to these panchromatic memories
held back by the sun's blackened light,
that we clearly notice how the prism
reflects an undercurrent. of shadeless secrets
different than the realm of visionary colors.
Sensory detections relinquish an uncompleted picture.
The image within, at times, may reveal an idea.
the transmission of which however placed
when received should strive to become an emotional
mover of otherwise placid thinking where wizened leaders
can in causes wept in sorrow from yesterday's sadness
proclaim a hope for a brighter tomorrow.
INTERPRETATION:
When our eyes are shut tight, there is no light or vision.
We are limited to what we see with our inner mind.
Nevertheless there is an internal sense,
a feeling of a creative process going on.
It occurs as insight and often fades into a clouded vision
of a thought picture barely perceived within.
When we leave the path of contemplative thinking,
we lose the benefit of what could have been.
The choices we make are usually expedient
and we struggle to determine
what it is that we really want.
Often we are faced and challenged by outside forces
many of which we deflect as we espouse our point of view
without exploring all the possibilities.
We see what could be and would like to be
hoping that it will make a difference.
and help humanity move forward
to a brighter tomorrow.

Imagism
On the bed, my ginger cat settles
onto a pile of clean laundry, dryer warm
Feline steady stare, resolute
a strategy of possession
she relaxes the way prayer soothes
"Off!" I command. My cat an unwelcome bedded guest.
she whines, "Surely, he's bluffing!"
solidified
empowered
swollen in the pride of "I'm not moving!"
meows spewed like an anthem of resistance
I lift her from the pile,
my underwear dangles from cat claws
like cheap tinsel on a tree
she exits, her short lived reign
sulks into howls of whining
till dinner softens her rebuff
till wherever curiosity and comfort take her,
anew
My hope of co-habitation:
to calm the little woes of daily chores
to reduce cat prestige from shedded hair
to shrink feline non-compliance to a
manageable scale
Our social contract - a trade off
to reaffirm my status
to maintain the charade of "boss"
an unsteady footing
in the crushed aspiration of rule

A MAN RECENTLY SAID THAT THE FUNDAMENTAL TRUTH IS THAT OUT OF MANY, WE ARE ONE. HOWEVER, PEOPLE DEEDS TODAY, TRANSFORM THAT FUNDAMENTAL TRUTH INTO A LIVING MYTH! THERE WERE MANY HISTORICAL LEADERS WHO FORGE THIS DOCUMENT THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE BEEN THE CORNER STONE OF AMERICA. ALL MEN ARECREATED EQUAL. YET I PONDER! IS YOUR AMERICA A COUNTRY, OR IS YOURAMERICA A BUSINESS?
ITS EVIDENT THAT A WRITER CAN MOVE THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF ITS READERS TO SUCH A DEGREE, THAT THE RECIPIENT OF THE WRITERS WORD WILL BLIND ANY BEING TO UNDERSTANDING, WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, AND THE QUEST FOR TRUTH. THOMAS JEFFERSONWAS TIRE OF PAYING TAXES TO BRITISH, THAT HE WROTE WORDS THAT INVOKE MEN TO BELIEVE AND DIE FOR THOSE WORDS AS HE SAT COMFORTABLY ON HIS LEATHER COMFORTER AND DRANK WINE TO SUCH A DEGREE HE BECAME A WINE BABBLER.
HE NEVER BELIEVE WHAT HE WROTE, BECAUSE HE, HIMSELF CONDONE, TOALLOW HIS OWN CHILDREN TO LIVE IN SLAVERY. OF COURSE YOUR HISTORY BOOKS WILL SHEDDED LITTLE ON THAT MATTER. ITS NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS TO SHARE SUCH TRUTH! HE FATHER SEVERAL CHILDREN AS HE SECRETLY IMPREGNATED SLAVE GIRLS UNDER HIS MASTERSHIP.
IS YOUR AMERICA A COUNTRY OR IS YOUR AMERICA A BUSINESS?
FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM, THEY SAY WE LIVE IN NEIGHBORHOODS, COMMUNITIES, TOWNS, AND STATES. IF THAT'S SUCH A TRUTH. THEN WHY DO YOUR DEEDS REVEAL THAT'S ITS EVERYONE FOR THEMSELVES? IF YOU TOUCH MINES I'LL HARM YOU, IS THAT THE TRUTH? WHY IS THERE ON 20 COUNTRYS THAT'S ALLOWED TO CONTROL THE GLOBAL ECONOMY? WHY ARE AMERICAN BUSINESSES SECRETLY SELLING LARGE DEGREES OF LAND TO THOSE ENTITIES WHO HAVE THE GREATEST DEGREE OF CASH-FLOW? I ASK YOU FINALLY! IS YOUR AMERICA A COUNTRY? OR IS YOUR AMERICA A BUSINESS? OR DO I CLOSE MY EYES AND WEEP, BECAUSE APPARENTLY ITS JUST BUSINESS? ITS NOT PERSONAL!! PART 2

Many reasons left unsaid
For why I journey beyond your head
And why a space is left maintained
For when you say "let's meet again"
Reasons for a shedded tear
But never what you think you fear
The outside world they say "be warned!"
When inner demons are so near
Mental bruises deteriorates
Sanity at a rapid pace
And when it's gone we only have
A bond you swore would never break
Reasons why you're seen this bold
In dreams that just can't be retold
Is for a better want of word
A sheltered love to be unfold
And if you go you'll come back home
For you are mine and I am yours

my hands on the piano keys
reading my only music piece
emotions spelt in the melody
soothing me from shedded tears
one has to come and go
have to play the broken chord
yesterday was filled with fantancy
today wat a reality
i wish it wud never end
questions live me paralysed
creating some kind of symphony
answers are a mystery
a heartache i hope to bear
i wish i cud live in the sky
the sharps,the flats,the chords
the trills,the crescendos
leading to a cantata
then back to a beautiful sonata
i feel like beethoven
without them music cannot exist
without the ups and downs
the value of life doesnt exist.

Here we stand on both sides of a one way street.
Open arms and a shedded soul yet my heart continues to beat.
Memories of that joy seem to haunt me in every inch of her smile laid deceit.
How can I why would I to myself admit defeat.
To this love..failing trust, fading fast like vapour that raised my feet.
To disapear like an echo to the sound of all the things she used to need.
I am shedding all I used to knw to a life as empty and lifeless as this blood I bleed.
Drop for drop each draining the life out of me.
Standing there as we drift further and further from our own eternaty.
Nw what was once whole screams of all that is incomplete.
And even as we.... we, stand firmly upon this ground we are falling deeper into the whole of sorrow and infertility.
Love me once more as you walk away to that infinate obscurity.

Blank verse
She gripped the knife, got into her
feelings that night... Regretted all
the mistakes she made, all the
hateful things said to her are coming
back to haunt her. Facing the facts,
her hands shaking with fear as
the knife appeared closer to her
wrists than the other nights.
Her eyes closed, regretting what
she did, her life, and as she opened
her eyes the knife was upon her wrists
with gripping fists waiting for the first
drip of blood.
As it appeared on the tip, the tip of the
knife it hurt so much but she loved it!
More came dripping on the bathroom
floor and as that one forceful slip
changed it all, she repeated until she
slid down onto the floor, wet now with
her sorrow.
And that's when it was over, she whispered
into the air "I'm sorry Mom. I'm sorry Daddy.
For this life was hard to live... at least for me."
She closed her eyes dropped the knife as she
shedded one last remaining tear.
I'm sorry.

Curved and coiled
in a holy matrimony unexpectedness
cut out of a blue and reddish steam
esteem rises
plugged into the play
of our space begotten time
after time will pass us down
Curved by gravity
of your darting gaze
made are the clouds
where the sun comes up
and keeps us blind
So we talk the walk
in the heightened spirals
spirit’s tail’s game
Echoes in yet another pattern
bent unbroken, kept tight
like a daze in a haze flow
are the speechless crowds
within us
Beyond a single word’s reach
to cut the length between
and bleach the page
within
to teach us in
on how to redeem our esteem
out of this thickening cloud
solidifying tar
and the petty gravity of its sticky habits
shedded skins

Tonight was my son's christmas concert and memorial for a little girl named
Emily
Her life was tragically taken at seven in a half years old
By a highway ramp that was to short in length to emerge
I was so proud of my son for ttrying and preparing himself for this evening
You see the last week he has taken this hard
I bought him a new suit and even let him pick out the flower he wanted to wear on
his jacket
A pink rose
He looked so handsome and shined like the prince he is
The very end there was a slideshow of Emily
First picture I shedded a tear while he sat there amongst his friends sitting ever
so quiet
When it was finished the lights came on
There he was coming to me all teary eyed
All I could do was hold him so tight and share his pain
I kneeled over and held him like there was no-one around us
It was a moment that continued even in the car ride home
This is a time in my life I could finally see he really knew what it felt like to taste
the bitterness of a loss
He's six years old tommorow and as he got out of the car
He held his hands in the air with such hatred
Begging her to come back
Tell me how do I explain this to him
Repeatedly saying "I miss you"
I love you so much
Why Emily
Pretty pretty please
To hear those words and see his actions of anger
Is so painful
I did what a mother would do
I stood there with him let him vent
I held him and rubbed his back
We came in the house and I put his pyjamas on
I tucked him into bed and held him
Cried with him and comforted him
I told him about the goodness she brought in this world and how God must of
truly needed her
I cried with him till he could'nt cry no more
I was there for him and in the end he turned to me and said "I really love you"
Sang him a song and hummed until he fell asleep
It's time like these you the importance of loving a child to no extent
God bless him and Emily's family for having the strength to carry on when they
were at their weakest

He was broken by hard times
No one could see
Because he was good in act like these
Working to fulfill a dream
To be a star the only thing,
Spend years to be it
That only thing for him became everything.
But the vicious industry
Shedded his only dream
He was feeling left out
There starts the hard time.
In his loud laugh and relief sighs
There's murmurs of depression and anxiety,
The irony strikes when he was walking in crowds
With absent mind.
Nothing can heal the pain that won't mend
The suffering , the pain and ache
Now he feels like it's his end
Grudges are held
Feeling were hurt, the obsession he's been working for
Now nothing he felt
So he let go everything
Without saying a goodbye.

Dear Lord
This is my minority report
my people have been outcasted
food and water is short.
Population persecution set up for political power
so my people bear their fate, in their faith
in search of a higher power.
jesus christ!
the planes just crashed into the towers
is not that a indication we approaching our final hours?!
Katrina shedded her tears on New Orleans
The coke can levee's collasped
and the rain came pouring
big momma inhaled the sea water while she was snoring
Damn! A wave just ran off with cousin La'Teemah
It's been five days and still nothing from F.E.M.A
Bodies for rafts as the news crew continue to fly pass
we float in the alligator infested water with no food, power or gas!
Dear Lord, how long this nightmare going to last?
Just a few more days,
help is on the way,
just be patient and pray,
is all the D'evils could say!
Like they dont see nothing wrong
with whats going on
i just lost everything i owned
and to make the Super Dome my new home!
30,000 was the count,
if you didnt get in, you drowned
some of my kin was found!
But the rest wasnt,
lost a aunt, a brother, and a few cousins
and you wondering why i'm cussing
news copters fly low my gun busting
Cause they not here to help us,
so i wait on the next bus
hoping to secure a seat for me
but living with the reality
this here might be it for me
im broken!

Dramatic Verse
why do Christians give thanks to the Lord Our God?
It's because we feel the need to reciprocate on our part
as Christians many think that we consider ourselves as being better
but all we're trying to do is follow God's commands to the letter
so what is it about Christians? are we that different than most?
what is it about Christians? do you think it's the Holy Ghost?
so why do Christians give thanks and what do they hope to gain?
we give thanks to Jesus the Christ so His death won't be in vain
not everyone who's in the church is there for the right reasons
some so-called Christians only attend church during the summer season
but a true Christian soldier, a true disciple of Christ
attends church to praise, to worship and give honor for His life
we give thanks in gratitude for His death on the cross
It was the supreme sacrifice so our souls would not be lost
yet some people attend church with their own agendas
and it's not about sacrifice nor is it about surrender
for Godly gratitude isn't about the superficial things in life
It's about giving thanks for His blood sacrifice
I thank God for Jesus who died for my sins
I thank God for Jesus, my Savior, my Brother, my Friend
He was the greatest gift given to me as a guarantee for my salvation
the most perfect present I've ever received and I show my appreciation
I thank Him for His love which is not dependent on my worth
I thank Him for His grace which is sufficient here on earth
so why do Christians give thanks to the one called Jesus the Christ?
I know I give Him thanks for being the Redeemer of my life
unblemished, pure, holy, just and upright
the Prince of Peace, the Salt of the Earth, the Son, the Sacrifice
His blood that was shedded on Mount Calvary
paid the price for any sin that was inside of me
now cleansed of all unrighteousness, I've been washed from inside out
and that's why Christians give thanks without question, without doubt

Flowers in her Hair,a shedded tear,
Young princess in a long white dress,
free flowing silk, flesh honey milk
back bare, fresh pearls to wear,
Sweet scented air everywhere!

Bright sunny day, little Candles all the way,
French champagne,a dove on window pane,
Daffodils,Carnations and Congratulations...
Colored confetti 'n Celebrations......
Two Hearts one pledge,a perfect match...
Two gold circles without ends,

Honestly have I ever made you cry?
and if I did I'm sorry
next time I'll wipe ya eyes.
When you hurt
just know I do the same
so when your crying tears
you'll know I feel the pain.
Honestly every person
has shedded a tear
but when your about to cry
I'll whisper
the words "I Love You"
in your ear.
Baby girl
I'll catch your tears
right here in a cup.
I'll wash ya pain away
And give you the rest of my love.
Honestly have I ever made you cry?
Cause when I look into your eyes
I see the fire burning
On the inside of ya heart.
Your crying every day and the pain
Is kind of dark.
Your heart is feeling weak,
This love is feeling broken,
you just want that sacred type of
love.
The love that will never go
unnoticed.
You just wanna feel ya heart beat
And move in a lovely motion.

I am being followed, and not by a human. I'm being hunted by my regret and resentment. They stalk my every move. From the morning when I open my eyes, to the night glimmer of a moon's shedded light. I'm accompanied by a cloud of shame, it hovers low reminding me why it's hard to say your name. I exhale hope and inhale sadness, only to crowd my inside with guilt and blackness. I'm not going through this storm alone but it feels like this guilt I carry, is only my own. So I choose to stay away until my clouds are no longer grey, and my breath is finally filled with hope for bright days.
