Go Big Or Go Home

there's some lovers with brothers
who want to smash your face,
they're all writing fiction stories
in some big top secret place
when the 5 o'clock whistle
gives way to the chase
we'll all run to the hole
and try real hard to erase
everything we never could control
the little things that help
you keep pace

give me access to the water supply
I'll make sure no one gets out alive
that's right! we're all gonna die
don't worry I'm willing to drive
I've probably only had 8 or 9
we're gonna get home, get home just fine

there's some mothers and others
finding shelter in my home
granted it's an abstract idea
but I just wanna be left alone
I'll keep hiding under the covers
after all we're only flesh and bone
so here's some contrived lines for your
head stone

give me keys to the machine in the sky
I'll set our course for a vertical dive
that's right! we're all gonna die
don't worry there's no need to cry
I've probably only had 8 or 9
we're gonna get home, get home just fine

Willow

Oh willow tree

you'll not fool me

your happier than most

I watch you sway with
such delight

you mere can keep from
boast

I see no weeping

no woes worth keeping

and yet in form you droop

know this dear tree

you'll not fool me

as I rest upon your stoop

I'll collect my nuts

I'll carve my cuts

Into your nimble limbs

then you shall see

Why willows weep

as me and mine shall keep

a home sweet home

forever loaned

Inside of you so deep
