Best Prolific Poems
My life has been fairly stable. Rarely does an event “change my life” in any significant way. Marriage, children, one’s job. Of course, these alter one’s life course, but when I think of a life-changing moment uniquely mine ,only one comes readily to my mind, and it has greatly affected these past 13 years of my life.
Since my early school days, I’d enjoyed the magic of words, devouring books and feeling pride in some stories written for my creative writing class. After marriage, I occasionally wrote Christmas song parodies, but it was not until the new millennium that my life took a dramatic turn. I came out of the writing “closet” and showed my few poems online!
If I had to name the one most pivotal moment in this new era for me, it would be the day I commented to a fellow poetess how I wished I were as prolific as she. I’d see her every day posting poems while I had barely a handful to show for myself. To paraphrase, this is what she told me: My friend, you must make yourself write. If you run out of ideas, just find a contest or some kind of inspiration in a phrase, topic, or picture. Sit yourself down and start writing! You can do it!
Well, I did just that! I joined clubs and workshops, subscribed to magazines and acquainted myself with people who motivated me to create. Thirteen years later, here I am, writing at least two to three times a week. My life has been enriched by friendships formed through poetry and by a feeling of satisfaction that I am growing as a writer so that today I can confidently proclaim: Like those poets once my mentors, I too can be prolific!

People Not Prolific During Neolithic
With some subjects can be able to concur
Then regarding others may not be so sure
For instance human and world development
And why from God all of this had been sent.
For our creation what was it God had in mind
If we did it would be like blind leading the blind
Maybe in the Bible there is much more to obtain
Without and Abel could there have been a Cain?
Of course, at times, we must start to realize
After tries and tries by us may be a surprise
As information grows that we collect and garner
About agricultural activity and life of a farmer.
People were never prolific during Neolithic
Times as well as period which was Paleolithic
Would people prefer to be called Cro-Magnon
Or perhaps Australopithecus and on and on.
Paying a tribute to current events of the day
We are all here still wondering which way
How each of existences eventually arrived
And though all the ages we still survived.
I just woke up at two in the morning after
I had dreamed about writing this poem.

Not everyone’s prolific;
Being so might be a curse.
To some, it’s quite terrific
But to others, the reverse.
For those who mass produce their wares
Perhaps are just obsessed;
And holding back a bit impairs
Their mojo, so they’re stressed.
A poet or a painter
Churning endless words or scenes
May find talent growing fainter,
‘Til incentive intervenes.
But the converse may transpire,
For the adage clearly states
Practice often takes us higher
Than a blue moon generates.
So to those who are prolific
(I’m included in that bunch),
I conclude (not scientific)
We should all be pleased as punch!

In so going to the High Priest in bringing Christians back bound
So to these men they would be released and so guilty be found
Off Saul went so vain in seeking all these men and woman out
Monetarily he would gain but for this one he enjoyed the bout
He had a companion at his side as they traveled toward the city
Upon their horses they did ride and neither had any sense of pity
Suddenly right there in true sight the Lord announced His Presence
These two warriors sensed only fright and it's intensity was immense
Saul could not see for three days and refused to even eat or drink
But the Lord then used another in His Ways making Ananias think
You would like me to go where(Lord) surely this man will kill me
But Ananias went there and touching Saul's eyes he could now see
Saul ate and became strong again and began in preaching His Name
Now going amongst all men in being baptized in the Holy Spirit's Flame
People turned a second eye and wondered how could this now be so
Is this a trick that he might try for this is not the Saul that I know

I can churn it out
with the best of them
I don't take the formulaic route
like the rest of them
I love getting paid
by a productivity rate
I don't worry at all
about the deadline date
I'm prolific
Can crank it out effortlessly
I got that ready-to-use story
in case of extreme urgency
If you need something written,
quick, flash, in a hurry
Plop the request on my desk,
and it's done lickety split, no worries
But I caution you now,
before you cruise by my office space
I'm not the tidiest person,
I tend to keep a lot of things out of place
Because I'm far too busy
to sweat the small details
The big picture is:
I write fast and I write well
I'm prolific
Can crank it out effortlessly
End of story
Is there anything else you need?

Lyric
They say that I'm prolific
Whatever does that mean?
It makes me sound like a rabbit
Bob-bobbing in a pretty scene.
It makes me feel terrific
And not an old has-been,
When I find a word I grab it
Towards rhyming I often lean.
And here I go again
Another song I’m writing,
Thoughts are bouncing round my brain
My word – my life’s exciting!
They say I’m too poetic
Whatever does that mean?
They all sound sympathetic
As if I’m tainted or unclean.
It makes me feel terrific
And not an old has-been,
It’s far better than pathetic
Never heard and never seen
And here I go again
Another song I’m writing,
Thoughts are bouncing round my brain
My word – my life’s exciting!
They say that I'm rather weird
Whatever does that mean?
It makes me sound like I’m a freak
To be displayed on the village green.
It makes me feel terrific
And not an old has-been,
For I am a song-writing geek
Write lyrics even in my dreams.
And here I go again
Another song I’m writing,
Thoughts are bouncing round my brain
My word – my life’s exciting!
And here I go again
Another song I’m writing,
Thoughts are bouncing round my brain
My word – my life’s exciting!
I am a song-writing geek
Whatever does that mean?

Winnowed was the produce of my heart
And fortune favoured me upon that day.
For what remained was worthy of respect
And helped me rise above the fumes and fray.
The consciousness of good was well received
My soul and heart were like soaked bread in wine.
Although I did not doubt the creative word
To gain this mark of honour made it mine.
As being so prolific is a feat,
And work well done is cherished and admired
Then I shall rest and let my mind roam free
Replenishing again my inner fires.
The labourer is worthy of his hire.
The words will come to those who that desire.

All of my poems may be prolific;
Subject should be more specific;
With much logic and common sense;
Understood even if you are dense.
From my finger poems always run;
From start until finally be done;
Take a break along with some rest;
Which for me always will be best.
Poem style relates to my Impunity;
While I welcomed each opportunity,
That allows me to become creative;
Was Initiated by me a local native.
If pandemic we are able to overcome;
Create a song we can play and strum
Maybe my great poems will be in need
After well loved and everyone agreed.
