A local park i walked
Just the other day
Surrounded by nature
In the snow kids played
I felt a feeling of joy
In this incredible grounds
This park of beauty
In a modern concrete surround
Nature in standing
In her winter stage
All the beautiful plants
Withstanding her rage
She mellows with time
As the spring appears
The winter snows melt
Is it her sorrowful tears
The buds appear
Enriched with her sun
Her vistas of bloom
Have just begun
But around the corner
Another season awaits
The golden browns of autumn
Await their fate
In the local park i walked
Just the other day
Thinking of the marvels she brings
To us, every single day

Vancouver
the most beautiful city on earth
that's where I am from
where the beaches stretch out against the backdrop of
verdant undulating mountains that seemingly touch the warmth
of the gradient coloured skies
this is the place I call my home
born and bred
nurtured and fed
and my loyalty lies with this patch that exists as a
microcosm on this spinning ball that we call earth-
I don't want to be anywhere else
I love the seasons as summer melts into fall
fall melts into winter and winter melts into spring
Vancouver
the most beauatiful city on earth
that's where I am from.
