The Dance of Life

The sun smiles down to send it's greeting.
The wind sighs as it runs through the trees.
Birds long since have chorused their welcome
And in the gardens flowers are tended by bees.
The people now their day are pursuing
Just mundane or perhaps over too soon.
The earth is singing the song of creation
While all of life dances in time to it's tune.

Comes evening ,the moon is on watch now.
The wind's whispering at last come to cease.
Tiny heads dropping on breasts gently beating
While bees and flowers are in their own little peace.
The people now sleeping,spent bodies resting
With unfulfilled dreams,memories tucked away.
The song of creation has once again ended,
Yet life makes ready for the dance of another day.

Hayley Williams

your voise is all i heard.
a picture in my head.
you amerged out of nowhere.
i like what u said.
we could be a pair.
sing that song again.
i am a true fan.
maybe i am insane.
just sing that song again!

Soul of An Eagle, Life of a Dancer

The way he moves, like he’s floating on wings,
Dancing in beat to the song that he sings;

Dipping down, then up again fast,
A dance like his goes on, unsurpassed;

He spins to the left and then to the right,
Listen closely to the beautiful song he recites;

“Ya hey-ya hey-ya” he chants to the beat of the drums,
One by one the crowd is awed and one by one succumbs;

To the spell that his slow movements have cast,
Till they have no perception of time that has passed;

His deliberate actions tell of his tale,
Of how one day he will prevail;

And soar with the beings up in the sky,
And then to the heavens he will fly!

The Lights Dim

The Lights Dim

I see she's holding back

Every time I come here

I just want to see her

I know she's think about what she lacks

The metal is the only thing straighten up her spine

I wish for her to sit next to me; we could both drink up my wine

Smoke fills up the the room

the smell of secrecy and shame is masked

By long office days and two for one boos

Her favorite song is on

And when she dances, I always get that long-

Same sequence and heels

Same pressure I feel

Everything I've already seen from her

But..she makes it look so new

Like she just closes her eyes and escapes

and all I could do from here is watch and take

Take pictures of this young body, but sad and fast matured face...

She glides upon the stage and stills the eyes of men

And how I wish to be her stiff and silver friend

If by mistake eye contact were made, would she know?

Know that I know more than what she'll ever show

Just get off that stage and we could both go

The song is finishing

If she would just look at me, we would float

She's leaving me, as I whisper no
