Have you ever noticed
How a smile's the perfect start
To brighten any stranger's day
Or to melt the coldest heart
It can even turn away anger
As things get out of hand
Or used to show confusion
When we don't quite understand
A smile can show compassion
To a child who's lost their way
Or comfort one who's lonely
To show them it's ok
It also shows affection
And tells them that you care
It evens tells someone you're shy
Or thank you when they share
So keep a smile within you
And hide it in your heart
For when it's time to change the world
You can do your part
If
someone
does something
silly, I’ll smile.
And I'll more than smile if his pants fall off!
If someone purposefully acts foolish. . . .
and too often,
my smile turns
upside
down.

Has been around for very long.
That elusive smile
shows a lady that's fill'd of guile
Leonardo paint'd her,made her a song
She keeps her secrets all along
That elusive smile.

A smile a day
Helps us in ways
To make it through each day
A big smile
A little smile
All the while
When someone is down
Do not frown
Smile to make them proud
So smile each day
Cause it will make people happy in so many ways
A smile a day is here to stay
Feet will ache and shoulders are sore,
From the labors this night that they bore.
Still a smile must they show,
To those who come to this abode.
With diligence and steady hand,
Orders are taken at others' command.
So to the fry of a kitchen hot,
They carry the message of who ordered what.
Then, again, they look for people anew,
Who come for service, food, and perhaps a brew.
When the fare is well is well prepared, the kitchen bell will sing,
Beckoning them to serve again, as they dance with haste to its ring.
They wait to serve and serve and wait,
They smile to even the rudest of pait.
They are at each costomer's beckoning,
Silently praying, there be a reckoning.
So wait they will and wait they must,
So, you'll broaden they're smiles I trust.
For good service, put a smile upon their lips,
Be generous with your tips!
