Best Outstare Poems

Sammy the Parrot

You are never alone if you own a parrot
as he swaggers round on top of his cage.
He’s very friendly if you offer he him a carrot,
but take it away… and he flies into rage.

He has few feathers, this gray ball of fluff.
With beady eyes, he sure will outstare you.
Do not tease, and don’t call his bluff!
Don’t turn away because that’s his cue.

Don’t turn you back when he is that mood.
A nasty nip awaits those who do.
If he were human he would surely be sued.
He will even climb down to nibble a shoe.

He takes a chunk off here, and a chunk off there.
It’s the taste of wood that starts the search.
He even tastes the leg of the chair.
It’s an obsession with him. Look at his Perch!

We welcome thought intrusion,
with ego in collusion,
since awareness, self-aware
each illusion does outstare.

Essence of presence vibrant,
negates thus, lower mind’s rant
by consciousness correction,
as love and light gains traction.

Fulcrum of our attention
is prone to oscillation
unless each breath be love inked,
body, mind and soul, God-linked.

The choice to ride God’s bliss bus
is left entirely to us;
until then, what’s our excuse,
to succumb to ego’s ruse?

Many Parts

This is where it should be
the easiest thing in the world -
Standing on the top of a tree
is the only place where my mind unfurled.

choices free
ride away
outstare the sun
sing for a day.

fine by me
care so much
be the one
first rain-songs touch

spinning free
on back of a wave
freedom's touch
my own life to save

All these tricks were played out loud
I should have lived forever glazed
But I fixed my mind, by hiding in a crowd
And like a new dawn, my mind's eye Blazed.

Jekyll and Hyde decided to entwine,
remaining at all times fully aware,
that come what may, they needed to align
with pulse of love, for which they must outstare
cravings of ego, which they must decline,
by remaining still, life’s ultimate dare.
In the womb of love opposites dissolve,
paving way for both of them to evolve.

Here now we live in body-mind,
wherein our heart, loving and kind,
cajoles us to slow down life’s pace,
free from feral cravings that bind.

Be this as it may, life’s rat race,
estranges us from love’s embrace,
dimming God’s light that glows within,
since thrust of lust is what we chase.

Eye on desire, we seek to win,
by means fair or foul, that’s our sin
but the joy we seek eludes us,
as we’re deafened by thought flow din.

Such is our life, dark fears nonplus;
like a spoilt child, we fret and fuss
over illusions, the mundane,
refusing to board God’s bliss bus.

We have freedom but are insane,
trauma bonding with desire’s chain,
preferring to remain asleep,
thus prolonging our ego’s rein.

If we’d take a consciousness leap,
we must dare to swim in the deep,
resting in silence, self-aware,
feeling within every bliss beep.

Soul suffocates, give it some air;
meld head with heart and with love pair,
that thus doing nothing at all,
demonic desires we outstare.

Who we are, in stillness recall,
which is living light, standing tall,
recognition that makes us smile,
whence in darkness we’ll never fall.

“Just as the objects seen in our dreams are found, when we awake, to be insubstantial, so our waking perceptions are likewise unreal—a matter of inference only.”

~ extract from ‘The Holy Science’

Being the dreamer and the dreamed,
how may we in the dream awake
as long as thought spirals are streamed?
Let’s make our mind calm like a lake!

With thoughts rested, poised in the void,
we as awareness self-aware,
reclaim light of Self unalloyed,
whence ego cravings we outstare.

Thought cessation is then the way,
for us to see and recognise
our true essence as clear as day,
beheld only when ego dies.

Let’s be with love and light aligned ~
We’re living light, not body-mind

You Can Feel Them On The Wind

        Umbilical umbrellica of umbral phantanes
"Anjelsmoth Banjitreel Naievae"
These are the spasmodic words you cause in me,
dare to ascertain in my exotic condition
of your cusping contain

My darkroom carotodomy gastronomy
of infrareds and lightwinds, rushing in,
scouts of wrath seeking the four ends

As you pet pet pet care snap twang, mend
"your pretty thing"

KarmaSupra-Natural endear- in me how spooning
feeds bends at my thrashing and gnashing of teeth
where your purring thickens in my auditorium,
arouses condition,
echoes in sonar picture perfect verbatim,
ruins in salvatore partition

Your light-wound
Is it a seizure, a leash
Tourettes syndrome, speaking in tongues?
What is it called, may I know-
I need a name, give me your true name-
and what aim, what precision archery,
what kind of game are you hunting?
Bondfires burning in the Valley of the Kings
Stuck Pig, squealing and turned by your spiteful
rotisserie of baneful spit you leave to dangle
as an apple on your lips?
Mountain Ram, braving the rocks and the heights carelessly of crash-ward depths?
Did I lock horns a moments long locked
on a linger and caught in a snare
of your primal mating ritual of Astuan?
Challenge your beckoning finger
talons of Vulcan Eagle to soar me to the heavens,
how did we get here?
Why must I be your icarus of daring -
savage amusement, knowing
I cannot outstare the burning sun
The melting in your wax museum,
peepshow coliseum, of the lost, you are the acost
of my 'verted musement again and again and again

Libra is scaling taxation, purgatory perdeum owed-
to the shades of Shangri la,
I'd say we, you and me are more than even,
Nefertiri
Will our clashes ever die?
Our gashes ever sustain or lusts
or take the darts from our eyes?
We a gleaming the cube and porpoising the rift
on the lips of
evermore, Eigypsed in the swollen rains
with chariots on fire

At the steppes of our estranged world,
of the law, of desire

...You can feel them on the wind...

Premium Member Self and Absolute Self - God

Our journey is long, so be strong,
our resolve firmed by the Om gong,
that thus thinning out the ego,
divine aligned we do no wrong.

Let love laced be the seeds we sow,
seeing God in our fiercest foe,
poised as awareness self-aware,
free from desires, our thought flow slow.

Once with the vibrant void we pair
and ego cravings we outstare,
starved of attention, it soon dies,
light of Self shines, naked and bare.

We see the truth with our own eyes,
reality mind cannot size,
completion beyond space and time,
transcendence beyond scripture’s lies.

One with oneness, we hear love’s chime,
heartbeat of God, a sublime rhyme,
a golden globe, in which we merge,
that higher peaks we may then climb.

Waking, dreaming and deep sleep,
offer a consciousness leap,
if we be therein awake,
focus firm, calm like a lake.

In staid stillness choose to meld,
with space between objects held,
that thus our eye then single,
in-form pheromones mingle.

Bliss mists deeply penetrate,
each offered consciousness state,
that though awareness may dip,
presence gives ego the slip.

Immanent yet transcendent,
breath by breath, bliss resplendent,
chakras whir, boundaries blur;
with love and light, we concur.

Whether outward or inward,
ego lust is untoward,
so if all that is be Om,
in all states, Self is our home.

Turiya or the fourth state,
staid peace that does not abate,
witnesses the play of light,
centred in drunken delight.

The Self in heart does anoint,
itself at a stillness point,
wherefrom all states then arise,
beheld by us in surprise.

When our soul’s eye is single,
all three states then commingle
but until then we’re trapped,
light of Self by ego capped.

As awareness self-aware,
if dark desires we outstare,
in Turiya, the fourth state,
we fulfill our ordained fate.

My Cat

Shes a huntress
least that offend you
I have a fictional affair
with my cat
All she wants is love and warmth
Her eyes follow me
her paws entangle my hands
The elixir of her dighty breath
is unearthly
She not outstare me
She knows my moods
although I can never second guess hers
She ages with dignity
I indulge her with my feelings
Her countenance knows withstanding

Premium Member Thoughts are passe

Instrument of mind, let us rest,
power from ego gently wrest,
that as awareness self-aware,
our bliss anointed heart is blest.

No agenda left to declare
and ego cravings we outstare,
we then recognise who we are,
laying before God, our heart bare.

For too long we played below par
and from God’s light drifted afar
but in silence, the Self is seen,
shining brighter than the North Star.

Premium Member Transmutation

Relying on thought as a crutch,
insentient to bliss beat’s touch,
no wonder we feel incomplete,
so perhaps it’s time to declutch.

Instinct driven patterns repeat,
without feeling magnetic heat,
as grace of God, divine sublime,
birthing bliss that does not deplete.

If Jacob’s ladder we would climb,
poised in silence, marking not time,
as pure awareness self-aware,
our presence conjures a love rhyme.

Melding head with heart, as they pair,
save joy, we’ve nothing to declare,
mind rests and with no dots to join,
cravings of ego we outstare.

Soul and God, as they so conjoin,
wisdom of sages we purloin,
that in this dream life, it’s a fact,
all are one, sides of the same coin.

Forging with love and light a pact,
the God code is by us thus hacked,
that as we so metamorphose,
attachments held onto retract.

Breath by breath bliss radiance grows,
more so when we are in repose,
brightening glow of our aura,
which exudes fragrance of love’s rose.
