We ascertain pleasure in reliving our past,
Though lurking matters often bankrupt our day;
For that portion of living in chronicles is cast,
This content can't change much to our dismay.

We justify retrieve as value to years emerging,
That beyond this day's history we will refrain.
Our subconscious is active with incessant urging,
For it realizes we shan't pass this way again.

Life, like a Maitre d', usually delivers what we order;
But unlike the meal we pay for life after we exit.

One Shot One Moment

One shot, one moment, what does that mean
Embody the new, or remain what is seen
Transcend the critics with the motive for green
What we concoct requisite is what we’re committed to
Destroyed or developed, that commitment defines you
Expend your time and suffuse your ambition
Talk with actions, so no one can’t listen
One shot, one moment, spotlight on you
Perambulated through scourges, dream come true
One shot, one moment, you prepared for this
While melancholy through life, one chance for bliss
But it embarks at that one shot, that one moment
So when you acquire yo chance, make sure you own it

One Shot, Two Shots, Three Shots, Four

One shot
Two shots
Three Shots
Four...
Bang, bang, bang, Fireworks galore
People running shouting ''WAR!!''
Innocent dying its, uncalled for
Families crying for their loved ones no longer more ...
Babies crying dont know, what for
Not knowing what's next instore
People walking with fear out the door
AND HERE I AM wanting TO shout!!!
''NO MORE!!!!...''
There's much more greater things instore
Than violence for sure,
Think of the kids for they are our future ...
Is this the kind of life you want for your child when he/she grows up
I don't think so... (O_o)
But I guess that's how it goes
When you live in a society where gangsters comes and goes...

One Shot

If we ever meet
If you ever see me
     Where shall I stand?
     Where shall it be?
From dreams deep and dark I dreamt
Frequently during night and day I visit it
More times than you will ever know
More often then I would dare admit
Inconsequently the frequency grows
Sending chills throughout my body and fingertips
This is no coincidence
This is destiny at its sweetest
Made to bloom from years of commitment-
My commitment to be yours, no matter the consequence
If once, if only...
Buried beneath flesh made stiff
From the merging of two bodies joined
Joined at the widening of lovers hips
If we ever speak
If ever you were to know me
To speak my name and repeat it joyfully
Spoken into crevices of dirt unspoiled to me;
"I am yours," I repeat, "I am yours and yours alone, eternally"
Such promises would not to be taken lightly
When given as gift from heart kindly
With sincere truth I speak
With righteous devotion I keep
Careful to tread with light feet
As so not to appear conquering when we do finally meet
When, where? Only then will I know of relief
Until then I refuse to resort to man-made trickery
If we ever come to know one another
If ever I am to come to you outside of my dreams
Your hand in mine I will take
Wrenching it and caressing it generously-
     Feverishly...
Tenderly, as my desire refuses to wait
My desire refuses crushing
Refuses to be dismissed or refrained
As I speak to you, of you and yet just...
My hope is to someday be near you
Near you and out of this magicians dream dust
To be free of it and free to declare my love
Without restriction or interest in criticism
Both I have known too much of
I speak it, it is spoken
Gifted and I pray received
As if traveling by motor boat
Cutting through waves and currents pushing upstream
This thing, this love I have come to acquaint
Eyes made vision and truthful as I imagine us face to face
Given no dialect, no dialogue, no sense of direction or pace
To be, and yet to have come from two such distantly different states
Makes one's body surge and curve while remaining in one place
Because as I've said, if we ever meet
If ever you are to see me-
I promise our meeting will come to no such waste.

One Shot

This is life.
Wake up and smell the gunpowder.
Spin the chamber, pull the trigger.
One shot.
Click. Silence.
And just like that,
I win what I already had.
An opportunity to continue breathing.
Thank god.
I guess.

This is just life.
I want to feel it the way I used to.
When one shot was a more pleasant notion,
a testament to my skill as a marksman
so assured of the bullet’s trajectory
safely fired away from me.

My source of pride, my talent,
my abilities, in which I invested
perhaps too much.
Now I’m never sure, only that
one of these six holds death,
and this is what’s left of my life,
and I’m going all in.
Spin the chamber.
Pull the trigger.
One shot.
Click.

One Shot To Fame

Hungry
starving for a chance
gotta make it
gotta do it
this is it
final option no turning back
will I fail
or succeed
don't know
won't know
until I try
might make it then again maybe not
who knows
no one knows
Jesus knows
have to put it
all on him and believe
with that said
gotta take this chance
might not get another one
this is it
I'm going for it
my time has come
time to make my move
pray for me
as I make my final move
will I fail or succeed
who knows
God knows
God help me

One Shot

I blew it last time
Now it’s on me again
She put it on me to win
Can’t handle the pressure
Always choke on the stroke
Man up, change the focus
Open my heart
Open my soul to my goal
My aim, to bring fame
To you and I as one name
Back to the clutch time
Victory on my mind
Concentration solely on penetration
Maneuver with deception
Providing max protection
Equivalent to my heart
The ball travels true
As I shoot for your heart with victorious pursuit
From the rim to the glass, and praying for the net
My one shot goes up…
I close my eyes, hoping I don’t regret
Whether or not my one shot hit the bottom of your heart’s net

One Shot

Identity of the unknown,
Travels down a narrow road.
Misjudged and scared,
But he couldn’t hold….
Emotion from controlling,
The one thing in life he admired, and loved.
But it was taken away,
Within a single day,
He couldn’t withhold fear or depression.
So he used a weapon,
As an impression.
On that man, that very day.
He shot him then he turned away,
From life and love all at once.
He didn’t know what else to do,
And no one else had a clue.
Why he shot that man, that day
But he knows in every way.
He killed that man,
On that day.
Because his life was down the drain.
He made wrong choices,
Along the narrow road.
And with One Shot, his story was told.

One Shot

Both truth and lies.
Resides in darkest white.
Stays in solitude.
In need of none.

Until someone came in.
Changed the very core.
Shaded with dazzling colors.
The someone became everything.

Lived happiness with sorrow.
Shed tears with joy and pain.
Lived with it.
Settled with it.

Broke a promise.
Reflected with guilt.
Took all the blame.
In agony of apologizing

Now in the edge.
Felt empty inside.
Scared of losing someone.
Still hoping.

Splashing Strange Memory At One Shot

Splashed an incident from my psyche all off a sudden ...
which was submerged deep in my sub-conscious mind.
Let me apprise you a short memoir of my past~
I was studying in school exactly a decade ago..
during which I had to witness the death of my graceful neighbour
who possessed one boy and a girl baby.
She killed herself without brooding
on her little children's future.
Why the hell did she commit suicide?!
What could be the reason?!
were all the damn introspection racing
in my whimpering brain.
I couldn't watch as her husband and children sobbed in pain.
I was helpless; Neither anyone present over there.
I could divert the tiny ones by just playing with them ..
So innocent they were to realise their mom was dead.
I was furious at the beginning for her foolish decision,
but later was curious to detect the reason behind it.
In a few days..,
My family intended to vacate the house due to the
break down & sleepless nights,
we moved on to a different colony.
But untill now I didn't hear any news on that.
It remains mysterious.
Strange was her act.!!

Jack's One Shot

Jack was on the baseball team,
But he never got to play.
One day, he got his chance.
He went up to the plate and hit the ball, CRACK!
It went so far that it hit the fence and went smack.
He ran all the way to third,
But in his ear was a bee.
The bee just kept his calm buzz.
Jack was annoyed and made the bee go splat.
Jack's team was cheering him on all the way.
All Jack needed was to score to achieve all of his dreams.
The next play it was a wild pitch,
And Jack saw his opportunity and attacked.
He ran as hard as he could to the plate,
But so did the catcher.
They made it at the same time and BAM!
They crashed into each other.
Jack had hit the catcher so hard that he dropped the ball.
Jack had scored and doing so achieved his amazing dreams.
