Oda a Nuestra Madre
Madres son la razón
Madres son el amor,
Que guardamos en el corazón.
Madres ignoran los
Malos comportamientos
Y siempre nos indican
Los caminos más abiertos
Te tenemos en lo más
Profundo de nuestro ser
Y gracias te damos
Por enderezar nuestro crecer
Aunque nunca declaramos
Que de ti necesitamos
La amiga que eres siempre
Y en ti la encontramos
Nuestra amistad es una
Que como la rosa abre
Y florece en una
Dichosa Madre.

He sat down by the old oak tree, all alone he sat there and cried,
He knew this day would come, as the letter read, son your daddy died.
So far away from home fighting in this war, now his mom is back home and alone,
They were such a good couple and the best parents a boy could ever of known.
But dad was old and his life had been hard,
And mama said he just went to sleep and woke up with the Lord.
She said we buried pa on the place down by the old fishin hole,
She said he loved that old place and I can just see him sittin there with his old fishin pole.
Son she said I’m sorry that this here news had to be so bad,
Son she said don’t you be frettin about me now I’m alright just a little sad.
Pa and me been together since we wuz youngun’s and that being a long time ago,
Mama said son please take care and know mama loves you so.
Becky Sue comes over and checks on me and says she’s waiting for you to get home and she
misses you a bunch,
She fried up some rabbit and creamed a little corn for our lunch,
I can’t wait till you get back and you and Becky can get hitched up,
Oh and I nearly fergot your old hound dog had six of the pertiest pups.
Well son mama’s gonna close and help Becky clean up the dishes,
Becky sends her love and best wishes.
Stay safe son and come home soon,
I packed you a box of cookies you can share with your platoon.
Love Mama
Dear Killian
Though you and I have had it rough at times
I must thank you for the way loving you has changed me
You proved to me that a mothers love knows no bounds
And showed me how strong a mothers love for her son can be.
I dream of the man that you will become someday
You are truly one of the best things in my life
Tears well up in my eyes because you are growing up too soon
In strength and spirit as well as weight and height.
Know that blood carries no greater worth
Than the pride and love I carry in my heart for you.
In every success you have, I share your joy
When you need me, there is nothing I wouldn’t do.
You have proven to me that I can be strong when I need to
You have taught me how to want to rise above
Because you take up such a warm place inside of me
I would be lost without a son like you to love.
Your humor, and your thirst for knowledge amazes me,
The love in your eyes for you family brings me to happy tears.
I’ve never known a greater or more fulfilling accomplishment
Then watching you blossom over and over through these years.
I want you to take my love with you wherever your life takes you
Don’t be afraid to grow up, because that won’t mean our love is done.
I will continue to walk beside you no matter what path you take.
I will always love you Killian, because you are my wonderful son!
Lullaby of my native mother
Aahraro Aahraro My dear son
You are born to rule this land
with love and everlasting peace
Aahraro Aahraro My dear love
sleep my son by closing your floral eye lids
to work for this land and to your people
Aahraro Aahraro My Sweet honey
Talk my son to write many new epics
for enriching your mother tongue
Aahraro Aahraro My beloved soul
play my son with lions and tigers
to fight with the cruels and devils
for establishing the empire of peace
Aahraro Aahraro My rising sun
wake up my son from this bed of poverty
to pave the way to our prosperity
Aahraro Aahraro My sweet memories
work for peace of this world
to raise this world as heaven
Aahraro Aahraro My dream product
work in the fields as much as possible to you
to eradicate hungry from this world
Aahraro Aahraro now you sleep my son
to realize all these in your life
Now You Sleep my son as a sleeping Ocean
[Aahraro Is a word Used by our native mothers to make their children to sleep]
Mother’s Love
In the beginning when Eve begot
A son who she called Cain
His brother Able who he fought
Without a reason to explain
How quickly he could get so hot
And briefly go insane
She really loved her son a lot
Which brought her so much pain
When he did what he should not
After he lost control again
Both were gone but not forgot
One cast out the other slain
A mother forgives without a thought
She will remember without refrain
A mother’s love does not boycott
Nor does it ever seem mundane
A mother’s love is all she's got
When only the memories remain
