The truth of morbidity is the death that we fear
Ever looming and never truly here
It casts its shadow over our hearts and minds
Always a danger like a field of mines
It could come in gas, the earth, or the trees
From the birds up high and even the bees
From avalanches and rock slides on the ground below
To tornadoes, lava, rain, and snow
Whatever the case, death is ever present
Whether rich or poor, noble or peasant
When you’re cooking, cleaning, during work or play
Death will come to take you away.
