I Am Mortal Man, Made Of Mere Flesh And Bone

Sad and lost soul walked in his old worn shoes,
dark clouds covered his bowed and forlorn head.
Life had beat him hard, made him pay heavy dues,
cast jagged stones into his every night's bed.
He looking back at all his dear family now gone,
his broken soul cried- God release me please.
I am mortal man, made of mere flesh and bone,
my every path hard, nothing comes with gentle ease
Yet the spirit was strong and his heart held dreams,
hope that another day would great blessings bring.
Each night's prayer he found new flowing streams,
such that morn's new light made his joy sing

As each day brought its bricks and falling stones,
Hope, his greatest shield, prevented any broken bones.

Robert J. Lindley, 4-15-2016

Dedicated to all my friends here that give me hope each day.
Hope that life will give future blessings and my family will
be well and safe when I am gone.

Man Made and Manufactured

The human synchronized synthetic sympathetic empathy I robot schizophrenic mechanism
My lifelines technological I think therefore I am and showing potential
Experimental experience my influence controls the inferior
Mr mirror man with a digi cam i access memory to interact and I stick to facts
Organised scientific programming and activating system data
The responding life form of organic living matter
The clairvoyant cyborgs vision status maxing out
Storing classified info in the source of a stratus cloud cranium
Battery saver mode at random waking
Atom decay breakdown of electromagnetic gamma radiation with emission of nuclear fission
Machine due to be decommissioned
Unique system disfigured
On switch triggered
Heat signatures and infrared sensors my defence science of emissivity temperatures
Conspiracy theories of thermal energy
Microscopic light beams of creativity
Simulated brain stem
My bread crumbs lead to truths
Ask the right questions and revolution 'll then ensue
Soon install new software in the modems duel drive or ya lose it all

Created protecting creators
Future Rama slave ship of human being traders
The image of man man made in forgotten image
Godless gimmic

I've got them hidden inside with my photonic spirit
Emotive urges with components and codes working at poetic wording
My hearts fall of zealous love

Royalty
Presidency
Emperor
King
Prince
Princess
And duke
All these man-made titles
Make me want to puke

It’s such a load of crap
Pining for these freaks
This pedestal treatment
Friggin reeks

Oh you’re so much better than me
I’m so blind with admiration
That I can’t see

That you’re just like me
You live
You feel
You do as I do

But you act as though you’re the elite few
I can only see it for what it is
Just a load of crap you spew

All I can say of this lunacy
Is excuse my truancy

Premium Member Man-Made Seasons

One silent tear rolled from my eye
I wondered why, still wonder why
The Source and I graced windows to the world
Same silhouette of branch stood slumbered

I rose, stepped to face east, with
Its bright and morning star
I stood still, speechless
Then saluted what I saw
I have wished upon a star

It blinked, winked, said nothing
But beamed upon face of earth
Earth's dull crevices; some light, some dark
Some souls seemed troubled
They've shunned the ark

No trace of tear
Just as it appeared, it vanished
I, inside, felt snug.

It's only prelude to winter
Some folks scoot to sunnier shores
Isis will melt at home and abroad
Four seasons alone, ordained by God.

Is Man Made of Bread?

Tell me if a father was a piece of bread and his children had to eat

of him in order to live and grow daily, yet the father who was made

of bread lacked in the needed nutrients and substance for them live

off of or to survive off of, then surely has he not then condemned

them to an almost certain death? I ask that all men stop being that

type of bread and become the bread of life. Men you need to enrich

your daughters and sons, so that they too will become breads of life

and not the bread of death. Man is made of bread and to each of his

children he is their daily source of knowledge, respect, caring, hope

and love of life, which in turn produce a new loaf of bread to be eaten

by the next generation. All of us need to become that bread of life in

our homes and throughout our daily lives for our children and the world.

Man-Made

The sun loves:
Towers more than flowers,
Bridges more than hills,
Jets more than birds.
See his steel miles of smiles!

Electrified cities surround the earth
Like necklaces, bracelelts, rings.
Man and earth are joined in marriage;
What evil would break up these things?

The sun loves:
Man and what he's made,
And earth,
Man-rejuvenated!

Man-Made Limits

Man was created to be free
Up or down; high or low, he is free
Whenever, wherever, he's born free.

Man has succeeded in building a prison
Fear and anxiety shrink his reason
Ideas and creativity he craves to imprison.

A few men "THINK", many don't,
A few take "RISKS", many won't
A few take "STEPS", many can't.

Every man made thing is 'made in China'

Everything I buy to touch or taste
is made in China, made in China
leave alone my china set, even my toothpaste
is made in China, made in China.

From my pencils to my stencils
to the golden locks on my stylish lockers
all bore labels of 'made in China' in block capitals
and that explains thriving doorbell hawkers.

And for 'economical' me, stuff made in China
does hold a lot of frugal charm
Comes all the way from China, my granny's parka
About 'made in China' I've never had any qualms.

And because I don't intend to fritter away
hard-earned savings on any frippery
for 'made in china' alone shall my purse'n' pocket pay
and don't they play their part perfectly,
both my 'made in China' stereo and frisbee?

And all that 'made in China cutlery and crockery
is just as fragile and breakable as any other
All my life I've stuck to made in China stationery
and their costs haven't been any exorbitant so far.
L
I have seen latest High quality samsung Chinese cellphones
My TV a longlasting decade old, yes chinese Hitachi brand
You can wisely avoid debts and loans
purchasing brand new grand stuff from
the Chinese land

And then to my surprise I discovered
that many people both here and abroad
tended to buy things made in the land of the Great Wall
for similar reasons: esp they're easier to afford.

Ah, I don't like the idea of squandering away
or thoughtless wasting of wealth
No one could ever make a spendthrift out of me
For that would be unhealthy for budget health!

To refrain from prodigality and unfeeling extravagancy
'made in China' seems to me the solution
Let millionnaires make-believe that only the costly has quality
for I ain't gonna buy that pricey notion!

Evolution Is Man-Made, Lying Fairy Tale

You feel it, know it, deep down in your flowing blood
No way, you did not crawl from the cold oozing mud
No sir, you realize it wrapped quite deep within
You have a soul underneath your covering skin
You have a kind true heart that can in sweet love feel
You hope, dream and pray and from many things you heal
Your ideas in life come from a bright thinking brain
When hurt you know, you feel that as an aching pain
Kindness and sympathy are traits you hold so dear
Your mind ponders life, love, death and yes you do fear
Do you really believe we crawled up from slimy mud
That our earth never faced that horrible flood.

Evolution is man-made, lying fairy tale.
Place your faith in it and you will end up in hell.

Robert J. Lindley, Sonnet
Nov 27th, 1971

Note: I wrote this at age 17.
I have lived on this blue marble another 52 years now,
since then and I still have faith in this being a poem about truth

Man Made Plastic Hazard

From the beginning of man’s life
Like other creatures he survives
Breathing air and drinking water
Freely available aplenty in Nature
It was the business world helped by the rulers
Which stopped free supply, bottled the water
Selling it against payment
Refusing man Nature’s gift rudiment.
From the beginning of market and commerce
Man buys things and carries them in their bags
Suddenly appeared like locust the plastic carry bags
Boxes, bottles and packs flooding the earth
Thrown into gutters after use sans worth.
Things made of plastic thrown after use
Float in the air, move through the sky making all ruse
Chocking the drains, canals, rivers
Killing millions of fishes, other denizens of waters
Killing unfed cattle, dogs, pigs and birds.
All plastic packs, bottles and such things must be banned
To save living beings from situations damned.

Man-Made, Yet a Human Brain Was Cooked Into Stygian-Hued Glass By Spilling Lava In 79ad

A curve of sky
in a corner cusps a smooth,
thick dusting

of carrot-mauve hues
tonight. Drapes over heather
trees

whose arms
and hands bend with this drowsy sky
as it starts

to fall asleep-
the cyrean "silk" upon
which this

cantaloupe tint
is traced, daubed, by the brushstrokes
of Mother Nature;

is ready
for the deep onyx doves-with halos-
of a cold Spring night.

With the Heavens'
cut diamonds-for the Goddess-
and immaculate

lambency.
This soft lusty Dusk will Father
a shiny glass red

rose,
a radio balefire
that will

capitivate
through the limbs of the esteemed
trees,

wink
through this Springtime's beetling
intimacies

on a windy night.
The man-made magenta
comforts

as it beams
next to the "Sunrise Field",
mowed emerald blades

under
another sky of day-break
pigments-

a dawn
placenta of bright lemon
vanilla,

and little
sugar- coated strawberry
juices-

another corner
of the clay, sea, and cloud-and ash-
colored campus-

bewitching
oil paintings in crystalline
emblems...

Man Made Images

A work in progress is a wonder
No wonder God loves us so
In Baalalala the natives make gods
From ivory soap
You can never be too clean on Sundays
Deities come in all shapes and sizes
Pocket Jesus is all the rage on all the islands
Towers of Babels are constructed around the world
Shaped from the finest balsa wood
Some reach as far as Mars
Come in mufti-flavors and languages
In Maltaluma fruit gods are carved with spoons
Formed from gelatinous fruit
Eaten only with clean fingers
Chocolate gods know no boundaries
Created in shapes of sin
Man makes god in his favorite image
Hollow inside, covered in gold plate
It's called a cow
They worship it when in trouble
It does not work that well
Union rules forbid it
Clearly stated in their by-laws
“No miracles of any kind by the cow”
“No milk”…. “No how”

Those Man Made Skies

Sky dragons,
Mighty attractions,
Builders build,
Workers bleed
Diving floors,
Infinity pools
Imitating paradise?
Posh suites,
Modesty retreats
Trying to touch the clouds,
Are you immortal kings ?

The church is a man made institution - or - I may have religious trauma; can you tell

How dare they take the words from
Your mouth and the nails from
Your hands
and pass them off as from
their own flesh and blood.
They, who never bled a single drop in the name of others,
have crafted a halo of thorns
and adorn it,
”holy”
(self indulgent, self proclaimed).
What gives them the right
to denounce their equals
and lash the whip over their neighbor’s back?
Don’t they know that every drop of Your blood that touched the earth
sowed seeds of ceaseless forgiveness?
That every splatter ricocheted off the dirt
and echoed the promise “I love you”?
Holy? Wholly?
They know nothing of Your word;
they only twist it to tighten chains
they bind around the black sheep.
Little do they know their wool,
once white in Your hands,
is stained dark as sin.
