I was sitting at a conference filled with writers for the Lord
Though our writing styles were different
Our hearts were in one accord
As the speaker talked I listened
Then something caught my eye
I saw a cross up on the wall where the Lord was about to die
I really tried to concentrate on what the speaker said
But Christ was looking straight at me
And before He bowed His head
His eyes full of compassion began to fill with tears
He know I had been struggling to love myself for years
Before He died He said to me
You must learn to love yourself as much as I love you
And my Father up above
After Jesus said these words His Spirit left the earth
But He made sure He made it clear
Just how much I was worth
Still sometimes I find myself not being kind to me
Then I think of that one night when Jesus made me see
That I'm a special masterpiece and I'm precious in His sight
When all I see is darkness I'm surrounded by His light

Christmas Eve,
with family, and friends,
our tradition,
the way it's always been.
Children excited,
huddled around the tree,
as a story is read,
about shepherds, and sheep.
Where one little boy,
was born on this day,
years ago,
in a manger with hay.
So many questions,
about how He lived, and died,
and why did those people,
make Jesus cry.

are given to them,
and they sing Happy Birthday,

As I was getting off of work
It was late night..
Dark outside.. When I got home
I stepped out of my van
Then something strange happened
For then as I went around my van
To go to my door.. to go inside
I tripped over a brick in the yard
Which I fell upon my car
From the severity pain was within my right ankle
Then as I stepped back
And then hit another brick
This hit my left ankle
I thought they both was bruised
But later on..
I found.. I broke them both
Yes.. Strange..
This is no Joke
As time passed on..
Going to doctor to doctors..
Last time I went in..
The doctors said I would never
Ever be able to walk again
Doctor's.. they had it set up
For me to go.. And have both
my ankles and feet to be removed
to be replaced.. With robotic feet
As tears came unto my eyes
I prayed immediately
Unto my Lord..
To take remove this cup from me
He revealed unto me..
All I have to do is Believe
Jesus took everything to the Cross
Even my broken ankles
I Believe by the Blood of Jesus Christ I am healed
"I Stand on God's Word~All His Promises"
I then looked at those doctors
And said This is Not True!
For Jesus Christ died for me!
Through Him.. I can Walk again!
For He Loves me.. That Much! (same for You)
If He wants me to walk.. I shall walk..
I know.. I believe He does..
I stand On God's Promises
By Jesus Christ Stripes.. I am healed
For Out of His Divine Love.. this is REAL!
Then the doctors looked at me
In shock.. Of such disbelief..
They told me.. I would be coming
Back.. crying on my knees
For this operation has to take place
that I would be back
anytime within five years
For there is no way.. Possible
they said.. I could ever be able to stay walking
for my ancles would break
I looked at them.. Right at their face
I got up and said "No! you are wrong!"
"For I am Saved by God's Grace!"
This happened in 2001
And as of Today..
I am still walking..
Praise God.. For I am Saved!
