The Moon Pours White Wine

At a table in a garden, on a soft, sweet, summer's night
Two friends are sitting talking by the moon's reflected light.
On the table in the garden there are glasses but no drink
And the friends are sitting talking, but they often stop to think.
The topics that they cover seem to range so far and wide
And the glasses sit there empty, since they left the drink inside.
The night is getting cooler but the friends stay close and warm,
The moon just looks down calmly, she has magic to perform.
As he leans across to kiss her, and she kisses him as well,
The friendship starts to blossom into something more to tell.
The tension in the garden needs assistance to decline
So the silver crescent of the moon leans down to pour white wine.

Premium Member Olive of Gethsemane

2009 year old olive tree
There in the garden of Gethsemane
Close by him did you hear him pray
As sweat drops of blood
Poured down his loving face

Did you feel the torches
As the soldiers entered the place
Did you feel the kiss of Judas Iscariot
Placed upon his tear stained face
Did his mighty breath brush against your leaves

Over the short life that he lived
How many times did you hear him pray
How oft did he come to the garden to stay
In your hollow are his words stored
Could I visit and be restored?

Butterfly Garden

Pictures of us
Revealed that we were once in love
Partaking in butterfly kisses
Strolls in the park
And intimate moments that I thought
Would have never came to an end

She was more than just my lover
As we tried to mend happiness
That shouldn't have been tampered with
However she pretended instances of felicity
Just to keep me pleased
'Till one day, she reached a point
Where she could no longer stand the confusion
Caused by illusions she provoked her mind to believe

So quietly,
She set me free

I felt like a rose garden
Trembled by a snow storm
As I stood there in solitude
And let my petals fall vigorously to the ground
She was no where to be found
And with a soundless voice
I weep'd myself asleep

Confusion caused by illusions provoked my mind to believe
That this was just a never ending dream
And, shall I wake again
My petals will rise and create that beautiful garden
That was shuddered in the mist of my tears

Butterflies peacefully swarming
Lovable kisses that fed the soil for growth
To regain hope for a love that was lost
In this unimagined force

However, as my eyes open
Loneliness was still laying at my bedside
And reality was spoken for
As those unforgettable scriptures
"I'm sorry, I can't do this anymore"
Continued to linger in my ears

Your Everything

I'll be your knight in shining armor
Your hero, that saves the day
I'll be your comfort when you're hurting
That takes all your pain away

You can be the princess
And I will be your prince
You can be my garden flower
And my love, your garden fence

I'll be all of your tomorrows
Your future, all your dreams
Your beginnings and your ends
And all your in betweens

I'll be a shoulder, you can cry on
When life don't go your way
I'll be the one who always listens
To all you have to say

I'll be the mender of your heartaches
And the joys that make you sing
I'll be whatever you need me to
I'll be your everything

Like Adam Loved Eve

Like Adam loved Eve in the Garden of Eden
You're the only woman I see
The only one in the universe
It's like you were made for me

My heart is a garden paradise
In a world that was made for love
You truly are my soul mate
Ordained from Heaven above

I've never known of temptation
You satisfy my every lure
Never before, in the history of time
Was there ever a love this pure

The serpent may try to beguile me
But I will not look his way
You hold my heart, in the palm of your hand
And I will not go astray

A love like this is never ending
And this, I truly believe
I'll love you til, the day that I die
Like Adam loved his Eve
