Best Lovebrother Poems
In the dimmed theater, the stage is set
not for a play though, yet a performance
one of baton, brass, notes, timpani
the performance I have waited for has come
As the stage lights grow brighter like sunlight
the theater grows dimmer yet, almost dark
but for the brilliance of the stage lights
then out you come with French Horn in hand
Along with thirty of forty other musicians
you take the stage, you are first chair
therefore you must be at your best tonight
and I know that you will be, you've practiced
The Conductor arrives on stage and announces
Welcome to the Black Hawk County Honor Band
I am sure you will be pleased with our selections
The Conductor takes the podium, opens his arms
With baton in hand he signals instruments ready
You raise your horn along with the others
ahhh the sound is fervent with excitement
the theater is alive with Parker in G flat
I can pick your horn from all the other instruments
you are playing the best you have ever played
you are caressing your horn like a fine jewel
and it sparkles in the light brilliance unimagined
Like your brother the writer of poetic beauty
you also have talent, musical talent like I
you now can hear a song and play it, by ear
like I you are learning the guitar, teaching yourself
The next song, Bach, such beauty to my ears
you and your fellow musicians have mastered the master
two years you have played, it sounds like many more
I film the whole concert, to preserve the moment
The concert ends with a Beethoven, in B how lovely
again you played masterfully, never missed a note
You even hit high G, and you thought you couldn't
well done son and it's all on tape, and in my memory
Red faced you leave the atrium, you worked so hard
I hug you and tell you how proud I am of you
all you want is a drink of water, you drank and
the redness is leaving your face, well done I hug you again
I wish your Brother could have been here to see and hear
he would have been proud too, and would have hugged you
You see, talent runs in our family, Me, you and Jared
all have it, So I guess it's in the gene pool, must be for you see
The Nuts fall close to the tree !
I heard the wind blowing briskly through the cottonwood trees,
And it sounded as though it were calling, calling to me.
So sad and so lonesome the sound that it makes,
Like a soul wandering aimless by the shores of this misty blue lake.
This misty blue lake out in Arapaho land,
Where I met this young maiden and later asked for her hand.
We planned to marry, but it was not to be,
For her brother only knew hatred and he aimed it at me.
I traded seven ponies and would have given her dad more,
Just to walk hand and hand with my young maiden down misty blue shore.
She was the chiefs daughter, the tribes princess you see,
As lovely as a flower in full bloom, and blooming only for me.
Time went by slowly as preparations were made,
She was so lovely in her doeskin dress and her hair set in braids.
Her eyes twinkled like diamonds as they sparkled at me,
We were both so in love, this even a blind man could see.
The day of the wedding down by the lake,
Standing there in all her beauty was more than my poor heart could take.
As she came to me, her brother from out of nowhere did too,
With a gun in his hand he fired, but his aim was not true.
The bullet it struck her and it took her from me,
As I held her closely she whispered bury me close to that cottonwood tree.
She said when the wind blows my darling, I’ll be calling to you,
Down by the waters of old Misty Blue.
Drip , Drop , Sniffle
Shes all alone crying in the dark
Yesterday he had broken her heart
He said they had drifted apart
Its time to go their seperate ways
She told him good~bye
Even though she wanted him to stay
Today she cut herself once
Saying she forgives
She in the tub now wishing she was his
As time goes by shes slowly going under
Saying her good~byes to her
father , brother , and mother
Later that night her family comes home
Walking up the stairs
Theres a site to behold
Water all around not betraying a single sound
Opening up the door you hear a scream
Coming from her mother as
her brother falls to his knees
Her father running to her to
check to see if she had a pulse
Thats when her mother noticed the words on the wall
Saying..."It wasnt meant to be after all"
Form:
What would I do if I didn't know love? What would I do?
What would I do if I didn't know love,
talking about that sister to brother love,
brother to brother love,
dad to children love
but more over mother to children love.
Talking about that real love that Mary J. Soul love. Loving someone that don't love you back
110% or don't show it, Loves a funny thing coz sometimes all you need to do is show it
But more time still you have to work at it,
step back and get a better understanding of it,
treat it like a child and nurture it.
Give it time and grow with it,
What would I do if I didn't know love?
Talking that homie love, ride out with you, Like On This Ting! Get out my bed at like 3am to
move this ting, talking about that,
if you need a shoulder to cry on love,
I'm here when your ready to talk about it love,
we can just go out to take your mine of it love.
What would I do if I didn't know love?
I guess it would be all about myself living with no heart, if you can call that truly living and
my time would be all about making the Queens Head plus the US and Jamaican dollars also
Nuff euros and a little bit of yen.
So you can say I still know love but I only loved a few things myself and Money. They are
two very important things to love but you should love life also and with the 3 main loves
loved truly living on earth would be the blessing which as a human we are blessed with.
The blessing of Love feelings, emotions, passion down to fear which are not Separated by
Sex Males And Females.
Love is Love.
Feelings are Feelings,
Emotions are Emotions
Passion is Passion and Fear will be Fear so we all know how to love something,
so don't be afraid to show love or to show your passion for something or someone.
So what I should of said when you first started to read this is. What would I do if I didn't
know about true love and how it walks with us as like it was are shadow.
“I just would not be Me because Love makes Me. Me".
Would You be You?.
