Best Lost Lovetravel Poems

Field of Thorns

I live in a maze that no
one knows
It's a place you've created
Light and dark and cold
You've made me love you
until I lost my way
This maze I travel every
day
Seeing you close and
most days far away
I navigate and hope for
safety
At every turn
Guilt and sorrow await
Sometimes if I'm lucky
There is ecsta
To feel along these
endless walls and paths
alone
Has been the source of
my undoing
My private catacomb
I hear you
And i see your face
Amidst emotions I can't
erase
To travel this maze
Has been what no one
knows
This never ending field of
thorns

The Reluctant Dreamer

Don't want to close my eyes
Don't want to travel the misty skies
I know that as soon as I do
His face will be there again
And I'll see the light of his eyes
Coming through the misty skies.

I'll see his smile and I'm mesmerized,
My heart seized by a knot so tight
And when I wake, the ache remains
Though he abides not by my side
And I have to battle my way
Out of misty skies to brighten up my day.

Don't want to close my eyes
Don't want to travel the misty skies.
