Best Loners Poems
I frequently have a day,
When I merely need space;
To clear my mind of things,
And get thoughts in place.
I've little to talk about,
No worthwhile thing to share.
Eyes frozen on something,
I just sit, think, and stare.
I think about moot things,
Or perhaps friends I've known.
Dredged deep from my past,
For whom fondness has grown.
So don't take it personal,
Those times when I seem distant.
I just desire some space,
That's why I'm resistant.

Lyric
The midnight bliss of a loner’s heart,
Circulates and illuminates like the crescent moon,
His cries instruments, violently strummed by angels
Creating and perfecting the sound of thunder
His dreams clouds raining down like
Tears, on his dirt ridden face
Without a trace his emotions
Dissipates like the voice of the woman
A woman who once whispered
I love ……..

“Where was God,” you ask, “when I needed Him?
When I felt cast out and all alone? Spurn'd
by my peers for being poor!? All I learn'd,”
you persist, “is that here people condemn
you for just being different, too. To them,”
you add with rage, “I'm a threat to be burn'd,—
a rival to be attacked and overturn'd!”
“So it was, too, for One born in Bethlehem,
My Child,” a Voice comforts. “He was alone
as a child, as well—and very unique.
But like Him, the last shall be first (in death);
and the first (in life) shall be last. For none
who are My Children shall be mocked—so speak
I and command,” swore It, “with solemn breath!”

Sonnet
Is there safety in numbers
Or are you better alone
For you can set your own
Pace this way
And answer when you want
Loners aren't always lonely
And you get to be
What you want to be.

In a semi-vast
universe,
with no one but I
and the thought that
in a distant
someone lonely
maybe
is also wandering,
bearing same thought as mine,
in his semi-vast
universe too---
In time,
in a perfect sculpted
moment they say,
we’ll meet
because
it’s meant to be
Just like in the movies,
a scenario
of two
wandering loners
in a semi-vast universe,
birthed to meet
and
be enamored by each other.

few step into their world
most just orbit
loners are never lonely
social
part-time sociopaths
must mix and mingle
but loners
they never have to find themselves
for they are not lost
while the many
are too many
